I was so tempted to cave in and listen to the first two songs. Everyone was like "OMG" over chicago and loving you, and i wanted to join in on the "OMG'ing". But with the disaspointment today, im not feeling any urge to go listen :(

It's the opposite for me, I really wanna know what APWNN sounds like based on everyone's reviews in the other thread :fear:
 
What happened I go to work for s few hours snd seems s load of people have caved in Bubs !!! Im still hanging on in there
 
Well I decided to listen only to new Place With No Name. It was bad enough that I am considering boycotting the album. Wish I never listened :(. Where's my MJ Fam, I need a hug.

I´m still waiting.
I´m working daytime and when I come home it´s takes time to read fans opinions on the songs and I´ve found out there are workout videos on youtube :training1: :weight_lifting: and I´m in much better shape now than when the discussion of the new album began
When I told my sister I was trying yoga too she told me to have the iphone close if I got stuck trying to do the moves...

More cardio exercise is needed and I thought I would to that to the new album,if they can dance to it I suppose I can exercise to it.Or dance...in my own way..

Still going strong here as well! I didn't have a lot of time on to be on the forum today but did catch some of the reactions to APWNN.

It's interesting -- I was wondering if and how much Stargate would change the production on that song because it was a conscious choice of MJ's to create a cover / rewritten version of AHWNN, and the production matching the original was obviously part of his vision at that time.

So I *imagine* (I don't know 'cos I haven't listened to it) I would not be happy with them producing something that was completely different from the demo / AHWNN... And now it seems that that's exactly what they've done and a lot of people are unhappy. Heh.

Of course I'll wait with judging the contemporised version until I've actually heard it, but APWNN is a special case where I really wouldn't want the new production to be too different from the demo.
 
The Chicago one interests me a lot. Seemed our Fam were going nuts over that one. The reviews read amazing on here. Some told me yes, a masterpiece when I asked if they thought it was. So that seems a staple fav already around these parts .
The one yesterday, A Place with no name. I know the original well so I'm curious about this version. Which one do we have today ?
 
I think it´s a good thing for me that I haven´t listen to the leaks and then don´t have any bias how the songs should be.
 
Still haven't heard anything from the new versions except LNFSG and the Xscape snippet in the documentary.

Theres lots of great 80s arcade game music, this is just bad. Do favor and only listen to original demo.

No need for poll, I'm ruined :busted: Before I realise, my fingers were tapping the MTV website address and I just couldn't contain myself, so yes, I listened Blue Gangsta today :busted:

Now it's about someone else to make the rules. No, infact they are the same ;)

It's just, that i'm out of this game, as i got hold of two Deluxe copies of Xscape this afternoon.
One arrived early from amazon. The other i bought at my local store, where my cousin works.
They unpacked the boxes for me, to see if the albums have arrived - and yes they were there.

I can only say: Keep on going! Nothing is better than to have this thing in hand while the music plays.
Booklet, liner notes - all done with grace & taste.
The whole album is perfect. You are in for a treat - stay strong & wait fro the real moment!

All those praises about the original versions of Slave & Do you know. It's actually torturing me.
 
I might only give in if my store doesn't carry the deluxe version of the album. That's one of my fears. I'll hunt for it and if I don't find it anywhere, I'll cry, order online, and then listen to the tracks online lol. I don't think I can wait past the official release date.
 
It's gonna be a looooong weekend for me, even with Mother's Day to enjoy and celebrate.
