I liked that. But it should go a little something like this:

Turkey Lurkey said,
"The sky is falling, Ducky Lucky."

Ducky Lucky
"Again?"

Turkey Lurkey:
"Yup, Again!"

Ducky Lucky:
"What else is new"?

It's a shame we can't RING the alarm.

This is just crazy. I think some of us can spot a cockroach a 100 miles away.

Fans should be able to have direct communication with Mike (or at least drop him a line or something). I mean EVERY CEO of a major corporation can be written to. Why can't we alert Mike??

This is just a disaster WAITING to happen. :(

The problem with this is would you personally want hundreds of people that you don't know anything about and who really knows no details of your business or personally know you contacting you to give you business advice or warnings about people you have hired? How exactly is he to know who among the fans he can trust and can't trust.

I would seriously question anyone conducting his life that way.

MJ's life is not a group or community project. It is just simply his life--his to guard, protect, and organize. He is the one with the personal investment in it. Michael is quite aware of the fact that he can become more accessible to fans and make business plans more transparent to fans. He chooses--chooses-- not to do so. That means he doesn't want fans' input about such things.

Michael has always been private about his personal and business dealings. The most respectful thing we can do is continue to give that to him. I'm sure that there are friends and associates of his with his best interest at heart who can and do talk to him about potential pitfalls, etc. The difference is those people can give a much more honest assessment and valid advice because they know him, his thinking, his personality out of the view of cameras, etc. We can not do that--no matter how long we have been fans and no matter how much love we have for him.

If we truly want what's best for him, that is where we hope he gets advice and information -- not unsolicited such from strangers who do not know the smallest of details in his life. I trust that he is capable of being loved and respected by people actually in his personal life, so I know that he has those around him who has his best interest at heart and will warn him when they suspect trouble. Again, from information from the trial, we learned that he does have these people in his life who are not simply "yes" people; Chris Tucker is an example; Lionel Richie is another example as shown in the recent article; Michael is going to him for input and advice; Steve Harvey is another example when he recently said that he always tries to talk to MJ about different things. But none of those people are going to tell publicly personal or business affairs that they discuss with him because of their actual personal relationship.

And again, what's uncontrollable to these personal friends and associates and most importantly to the fans is MJ's decision of whether to heed any given advice or not.

So, when he does or doesn't, the only one that fans can cast a doubtful eye at would be MJ. But, really, that probably isn't in our business to do such either. He has people looking after him; let's let them fulfill their roles as friends and family and then we can hold up the roles of fans.

i am sure others who mike speaks to are aware of this and have told him something. I mean if we know this "xclusive info" im sure others who have communication ith mj do as well. Im sure if will.i.am found out or akon about his managment and where aware, they would say something, even ne-yo. He would be lik yo mike, i think u should think twice about this. Know what i mean?

Here is a little prayer that works in most cases as a reminder of keeping yourself grounded.......

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
- and the wisdon to know the difference..

I know this is a AA prayer, but it works well in other situations to...
Amen.

And here's another to add to that...

Almighty God, take my hand and lead me through this day, step by step.
Remind me that I cannot do everything I wish, nor do any of it perfectly.
Only You are perfect, and only with Your help can I do my best.
Help me to remember to ask for that help.

Amen

We've got some concerts coming up MJ Fans. We did not come this far to give up now, did we?

Michael is set to earn upwards of $500 mil from this tour. I want him to keep that money in HIS pockets. I would hate to see Michael dancing and singing his ass off for 50 or more days only to check his take home pay and find $1,000 left in it. I'm just sayin.

I've asked yall what exactly does the manager do, but no one has answered yet. He is called a PROMOTER, but isn't that what AEG Live is?.....concert and tour promoters? So why would Michael need this guy to promote? If this article is true....which I have my doubts....

WHAT EXACTLY IS LEONARD ROWE BEING HIRED TO DO?

Anyone?

Hold on! Hold on! There is a person named Michelle Rowe in there (Copyright Infringement), and "Rowe International Corp" which have nothing to do with Leonard Rowe. The R. Kelly trouble is right though. But let's all calm down a bit

Michelle Row is his wife..

According to the press release, Rowe is now Michael's business manager. He will manage all of Michael's business affairs much like Dieter Wiesner, Dr. Tohme and Raymone Bain did in the past. Rowe will seek out deals and present them to Michael. He might have Power of Attorney and if that is the case, can make business decisions for Michael and have signature power. Rowe can negotiate contracts on Michael's behalf now and will have first approval or denial of any business proposition. In summation, he handles every aspect of Michael's business affairs.

Michael could not hire him as a promoter because that would be a direct breach of contract with AEG.

The answer may be in the first part of the release. This is what it says...

Michael Jackson, universally acclaimed as the King of Pop, today named Leonard Rowe, the legendary concert promoter from Atlanta, as his new Manager. Rowe succeeds Dr. Tohme Tohme.

I am very pleased that Leonard has accepted my offer to manage my business affairs during this important period in my career,” stated Jackson. He added, “Leonard Rowe has been a long-time friend and business associate whose judgment I have come to trust.”
It seems like MJ wants Leonard to handle the business side of things while he is taking care of the music side of it. Mike can't be in both places at once.

Ok at first I was like YEAH:clapping: Then as the thread progresses I'm like:scratch::doh::no: (r.kel and neyo bit, etc). But one thing I will say is that (if this is true and this guy works for mike) I will say that at least It seems to me that michael ain't playing around this time. If you screw him over you out the door. PERIOD! I didn't trust tohme and now I feel a little weery about this guy. However michael will handle is business. Another thing is that michael has worked this this guy before so that's a plus. Now yes ppl change but at least they have a decent past together. I'm just praying :angel:that dude don't do mike mike dirty. please, lord jesus who sit on high & looks down low, keep him, cuz I'm so sick of the, lets screw mike over bandwagon. really! but mike comes from the hard streets of gary and will ultimately handle his biznasss!

This really makes me want to go back to school for entertainment law and work for michael. Its bad enough that the entertainment industry is sheisty to begin with, but it seems like when folks get around michael they just lose it. I mean even take randy for instance. As many as big celebs and famous ppl that he has done business with he still is all giddy and talkidee now that he has mike jax in the bag. I like randy p. but still.. can you say "overly excited talkative groupie much"??

Ok, that "power of attorney" part is the part I don't like. I don't think Raymone had power of attorney. I heard rumors taht Deiter had it. But when you say "business deals", do you mean as it relates to the tour? You don't mean as it relates to other areas of his life like Sony/ATV, Neverland and other business ventures he may have, right?

yeah I don't like POA either. The only person i want to sign off on something is ME ME and ME. POA is only for old senile peeps or so I thought. I'm sorry but I just couldn't have someone signing things no matter how busy I am, that I don't agree to or on a paper that i haven't even looked at. Then when the funk hits the fan all the blame is on me and now I got to deal with this mess. It like having someone think for you....and that's NOT the business. nope!

I don't know if this fella has power of attorney either but it is not uncommon for business managers to have it. When I say business deals I mean all of Michael's business dealings which includes the tour. It was Dr. Tohme Tohme who brokered the current AEG deal as Michael's business manager. So as you can see, business managers are quite powerful.

No one has the facts on anything...but whatever RF writes that's what everyone will believe....sadly

And with no facts you would think the info posted is official and that John Gotti is managing Michael..

Well I have faith in MJ...he got to be the most success artist in history without advice from any of us...

IMO we need to stop riding his nuts...especially without facts.....

OK, wait a minute ... Rowe = Joseph and Joseph (with all due respect) but Joseph = some unsavory characters. Not trying to down Papa Jo but he be hangin' with people that straight up got they hand out and even if you don't give them anything ... they the type to find a way to get theirs. Even if what they think is theirs, is really yours.

MMMM Michael Michael Michael ... I hopes ya knows what you have done did and I am wrong about my suspiscious thinking :praying:

say what....come again??
Now why would I stop doing that?:hysterical:

ok swrry...I'm stop NOW! Lord forgive me. lol:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: I couldn't resist. lol

You are super bad! And I like it! And I agree! :punk:

true ... very true

but as a person who cares for him and doesn't have that same avenue to his ear, when something like this comes up ... based on the past, I become a worry wart
**bites at finger nails**

Lionel, Steve, Chris do your thang :zformation:

*picturing myself riding Michael's nuts!.....ouch! :bugeyed*

Anyway, I keep remembering Oprah telling Toni Braxton that she writes her own checks. I think that this is the way it should be. I hope Michael doesn't give any of these people POA over his money like that. They can still be a manager without having their hands in the money.

Mr.Jackson,
I am sooo very proud of YOU...
That YOU have decided to stick with/understand "those" of us that have "always been" "true/pure" to the heart..!

:angel:psalm 37

I think Michael will be okay but don't be surprised in a year or two if Michael sues this guy for fraud. It seems that everyone Rowe has worked with sued him. There is no need for Rowe to "ORGANIZE" Michael's concerts.

And he's been sued by more than just R. Kelly and Neyo. His wife was sued by Sony BMG for copyright infringement, his company federally investigated and charged with racketeering. American Talent Agency sued Rowe Entertainment for fraud and misrepresentation. It's a laundry list of bad deeds and Rowe Entertainment has lost almost each time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this isn't a reputable company and JUST because MICHAEL hired him doesn't mean he's going to shape up and do the right thing. You don't hire crooks and criminals because when you do you get bad results.

Very Valid point.

And about those "crooks" and "criminals" you mentioned, they always seem to find their way into Michael's circle don't they?

I wonder why and how is that possible,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Look though guys, classic is right in that we can't have a damn heart attack every time Michael gets involved with someone who appears less then stellar to us. The best policy to take regarding Michael's employees is that we never fully trust any of them or get personally attatched to any of them, because they can be gone in a hot minute, but we also have to put some faith in Michael's judgement. Now Michael's been known in the past to be overly-trusting, and that's true about him. He has been. But Michael also is extremely, extremely intelligent. He is NOT stupid by any means, and he knows that now is the worst time to allow his business and/or personal affairs to be sabatoged. He isn't going to allow anyone to come in and ransack his plans. Look how quickly he dumped Tohme. I think he did that because he saw Tohme had already gotten him in to some trouble and he wasn't going to allow that to go any further. I think Michael is seriously taking a no-nonsense approach to his workers now and won't hesitate to fire their asses at the first sign of trouble. If this Rowe guy starts any shit, I can bet you a million bucks Michael will drop him like a hot patato. Michael said to Geraldo that he would no longer be as trusting as he once was, and I believe him. I think Michael will give you ONE chance now, and if you f*ck up, then you're f*cked, bottom line.

Damn!! I like Everything you said here! It makes complete sense and I hope and pray, you are right!

Love your post!!!!!!!!!

AllThelovelyflowers...great imagination u got there!

hmmmmmmm lol i was at work when an old as blender was in the shred...the one w/ dave chapelle on it and it had an article about mj or a spreadsheet, rather about those in his life. and it had mr. banned mentioned and they called him an asset to mj. he would point out the bad in the state's case and then write about it. rememebr the calabassas visit?

how sadly things have changed BUT what remains the same is those in his life that are bad and that will hurt him and steal from him.

everyone is so up in arms about tohme...hmmmmmmmmmm mj d idn' tknow about an auction yet his stuff isn't with him and the books were signed? sounds like someone had a change of heart and then someone else was blammed for it.

it also sounds that so many hated tohme but are rejoicing at this new guy but he comes w/ more baggage than anyone would want. just ask robert kelly.

whatever, everytime something positive is going on, there's always someone lurking to muck it up for him. this time they were so bad that their past has alraedy come out so at least no one can say they didn't know

It's Michael's money, not mine I aint worried about it. He's just a performer I am a fan of end of story.
