Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

This is EXACTLY why Michael's resting place should be private and totally off limits at all times to whose who didn't know him in real life. It's so cruel and unfair. I'm so heart broken that this happened to our beautiful Michael.

And the estate have to get more security for Michael. It saddens me and makes me angry how little care, compassion and respect people have for a man who changed the world and music for the better but most importantly, a man who had an amazing heart.

here here

very true

Can you believe there are fans that don't see these pics and video as a big deal?

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

I just wanted to add little something - if you watch "TMZ on TV" they always make fun of everyone and everything. It's not a serious news program on TV and they openly say so. They even make fun of Harvey. What I'm trying to say is that don't think the TV show video as something against Michael.

The main issue is how people are able to record / take this pictures. (It's obvious that TMZ is not sending their photographers to take the pictures, they are buying the photos from regular people that somehow someway enter into Holly Terrace).

humor and subtlety have always been great weapons. they always count on people saying 'it's no big deal', so if you do take something seriously, you're made to look like the scum of the earth...so..sadly, i have to disagree with you about TMZ. it's still all about the money.

so is that true that Forest Lawn will be closed for public on June 25th and 26th?

No, this is not true but I have emailed Forest Lawn anyway and will post in this thread once I get a reply to find out what exactly is happening at FL that day.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

Lisa Burks said on her FB thatthis person might have gotten in when a legitimate visitor exited the building when the door was open. If that's the case it's even more outrageous.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

The problem the Jackosn family, plus the other people who have family buried there have is this...
the more we, both fans like us all here, and the general public, and yes the "nasty press" are kept away from MJ, the more people want to see it.

And as this year has shown it is VERY EASY for people who disrespect MJ to get pictures and access to it .
Solution, create a place that MJ can go where we can and visit, that way they can control it, and it doesn't involve other peoples relatives.

I think once the kids get older they will move him to somewhere else just for him. that cold marble is depressing. and the lack of flowers was depressing, no?

what else I have been thinking about is this..why doesn't Randy try twittering about the pictures that have been posted on the internet of Michael's final resting place ..about how he is disappointed and discussed about it.. No he wont do that...he is more concerned about trying to get something to happened on the 25th that should NOT be happening.

it's not about us or the press or the public. it's not about what we want and how bad we want it. it's about Michael and his privacy. It doesn't matter how much we want to get there and see it. Michael doesn't belong to us or the press or the public. We all should respect that. For 45 years of his life the man gave his all to the public. There's should be a line that shouldn't be crossed.

I called them a few days ago and they said FL will be open and everything will be the same except for heightened security. Hopefully that's still the case and this person didn't just completely ruin FL's respectful treatment of the fans.

Well said.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

u are 100% right MJ deserves privacy.
Sadly the reality is people out there want to see MJ, they even want to see inside the tomb!
There are mad, strange weird people who want that. And the press would kill for a picture of him in the coffin! I DON'T SUPPORT THIS BUT IT'S A FACT.

I ALSO think if they move him somewhere that only the JACKSON'S have access to,that they own, they can control who gets access.
Remember this is a public place where he currently is, and it will ALWAYS have people getting in, and only worse things will happen.

Remember people tried to steal Elvis, and they DID take Chaplins body. Consider if someone chipped off a piece of his thomb, again this happens to other graves of famous people.
I believe MJ will be moved and this is just what his family thought wud be best, but sadly the reality is outside forces want access to MJ. So as in life MJ will end up somewhere private on his own property.

u know what i have been thinking same thing.where is randy now ,why Latoya is not talking, where is joe with his side kicks, and we know about Jermain ,he is busy going to Africa and showing the world that he can do the tribute.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

I don't think the coffin will be moved ever. There's no reason for that. Even though Neverland would be a museum someday it doesn't have to be any kind of a place for pilgrimages or worshipping. Michael was a human being and it's better to adore his work and thoughts..

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

ok...
well just because we want him to be left alone has NOT stopped all the photo's and sneaking into his resting place this year, has it?. And it's only going to attract more attention as time passes. with each new photo the hunger for more develops as people need new things to see, they have seen the tomb, so next will be video then inside it etc... some people won't be happy until they have a 24 hr webcast in the coffin! Their sick F@^kS

we don't live in a respectful world when it comes to MJ, he is seen as an object to be sold and bought, even in death. if he's moved to private place then the family can stop people accessing him. like princess Di, she is buried on an island on private property, that stops any intrusion! never seen pic of her tomb have we, just arial photos of an island.

also I think the choice to put MJ in there was his mothers, I think grief and frustration at the lack of a final resting place was why they choose it, it tooks months to bury him. also she is a jehovah witness and the church don't go for idol worship, so the idea of MJ stuck away in some cold marble hall with very few signs of adulation is the result. and in time that will change. when the kids take control.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

hey did u guys hear anything about this from other sources?

Michael Jackson's grave may be moved to a new location if the Jackson family intends to open the burial site of the "King of Pop" for public viewing.

Like a modern day "Valley of the Kings," Forest Lawn Cemetery's private section (where Jackson is now placed) is a sanctuary in an area with strictly controlled access.

This makes the gravesite a particularly bad location for any public event, and families of other incumbents are less than thrilled by any decision to "go public," wanting to protect the privacy they planned and paid.

Since its inception, the cemetery has been quite secretive, refusing to publicly state exactly who is buried there.

Bill Martin, spokesman for "Forest Lawn" told CNN in July of last year, "We hold the privacy of our client families in very high regard. "There are certain areas and property types that have limited access."

When media first speculated where the pop icon was to be buried, it was thought that he might be placed at rest in Hollywood Hills memorial park, where Tito Jackson's wife Delores (Dee Dee) is thought to be buried.

Ultimately, it was decided that the sometimes reclusive "Privacy" singer would be placed within the restricted area at Forest Lawn Cemetery, instead of it's more public areas.

Almost one year later, however, Randy Jackson has started a public campaign to commemorate the "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" singer at his graveside, a spot that may be best served by a less private gravesite.

The Jackson family is now faced with the prospect of moving MJ to a less private/more appropriate area, scrap the idea of a graveside reunion, or continue to lobby the cemetery and run roughshod over other families who wish to keep the sanctuary private.

Did you know? In 2009, Rudy Clay, mayor of Gary, Indiana, requested that Michael Jackson be transported back to Gary and buried in his hometown.

i hope not he deserves some peace

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

I have a feeling he will eventually be moved once Katherine passes. She is the one who demanded that he be put there. Once she's gone, I'm sure the family will love him to a more public place or even Neverland. Who knows.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

The family does not own Neverland and it is not up to them. And remember the estate owns half of the ranch. More then half I think

Didn't know that. Maybe the estate will move him after Katherine passes. I think everyone is respectful of her decision while she is still here.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

regardless if they move Michael or not ..he needs to be protected..he needs high security. I dont think he needs to be somewhere public. There are alot of MJ haters out there Heaven only knows what might happen to him if they do that. Not only that but it is called a final resting place for a reason...it is not good for the soul to keep moving a body....a soul needs to find peace.

Take this with a grain of salt this is from the examiner where anyone can make up stories there.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

It's not Kate who decided where to place him. Michael had that place already in 80's hadn't he.

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

They are going to have to do what they did to protect Jim Morrison's grave, which is install camera's, gates all around him....

Re: Randy says he will try to get fans to Michael Jackson's Burial Site

I read an old famous book called "The Souls" (more than 500 years old translated in many languages), and it says it is better when a person is buried with others around him/her, especially friends...so maybe it is more fun to be around Walt Disney and Clark and his grandparents, and some says that Liz wants to be buried there too. so what do you think?
