This is EXACTLY why Michael's resting place should be private and totally off limits at all times to whose who didn't know him in real life. It's so cruel and unfair. I'm so heart broken that this happened to our beautiful Michael.
And the estate have to get more security for Michael. It saddens me and makes me angry how little care, compassion and respect people have for a man who changed the world and music for the better but most importantly, a man who had an amazing heart.
I just wanted to add little something - if you watch "TMZ on TV" they always make fun of everyone and everything. It's not a serious news program on TV and they openly say so. They even make fun of Harvey. What I'm trying to say is that don't think the TV show video as something against Michael.
The main issue is how people are able to record / take this pictures. (It's obvious that TMZ is not sending their photographers to take the pictures, they are buying the photos from regular people that somehow someway enter into Holly Terrace).
so is that true that Forest Lawn will be closed for public on June 25th and 26th?
"You're so damn disrespectable" (from tabloid junkie)
I don´t mean someeone here on MJJC
Lisa Burks said on her FB thatthis person might have gotten in when a legitimate visitor exited the building when the door was open. If that's the case it's even more outrageous.
The problem the Jackosn family, plus the other people who have family buried there have is this...
the more we, both fans like us all here, and the general public, and yes the "nasty press" are kept away from MJ, the more people want to see it.
I called them a few days ago and they said FL will be open and everything will be the same except for heightened security. Hopefully that's still the case and this person didn't just completely ruin FL's respectful treatment of the fans. No, this is not true but I have emailed Forest Lawn anyway and will post in this thread once I get a reply to find out what exactly is happening at FL that day.
Michael doesn't belong to us or the press or the public. We all should respect that.
what else I have been thinking about is this..why doesn't Randy try twittering about the pictures that have been posted on the internet of Michael's final resting place ..about how he is disappointed and discussed about it.. No he wont do that...he is more concerned about trying to get something to happened on the 25th that should NOT be happening.
The family does not own Neverland and it is not up to them. And remember the estate owns half of the ranch. More then half I think
Didn't know that. Maybe the estate will move him after Katherine passes. I think everyone is respectful of her decision while she is still here.
hey did u guys hear anything about this from other sources?
Michael Jackson's grave may be moved to a new location if the Jackson family intends to open the burial site of the "King of Pop" for public viewing.
Like a modern day "Valley of the Kings," Forest Lawn Cemetery's private section (where Jackson is now placed) is a sanctuary in an area with strictly controlled access.
This makes the gravesite a particularly bad location for any public event, and families of other incumbents are less than thrilled by any decision to "go public," wanting to protect the privacy they planned and paid.
Since its inception, the cemetery has been quite secretive, refusing to publicly state exactly who is buried there.
Bill Martin, spokesman for "Forest Lawn" told CNN in July of last year, "We hold the privacy of our client families in very high regard. "There are certain areas and property types that have limited access."
When media first speculated where the pop icon was to be buried, it was thought that he might be placed at rest in Hollywood Hills memorial park, where Tito Jackson's wife Delores (Dee Dee) is thought to be buried.
Ultimately, it was decided that the sometimes reclusive "Privacy" singer would be placed within the restricted area at Forest Lawn Cemetery, instead of it's more public areas.
Almost one year later, however, Randy Jackson has started a public campaign to commemorate the "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" singer at his graveside, a spot that may be best served by a less private gravesite.
The Jackson family is now faced with the prospect of moving MJ to a less private/more appropriate area, scrap the idea of a graveside reunion, or continue to lobby the cemetery and run roughshod over other families who wish to keep the sanctuary private.
Did you know? In 2009, Rudy Clay, mayor of Gary, Indiana, requested that Michael Jackson be transported back to Gary and buried in his hometown.
