LaToya Jackson will be on 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

BillieJean84, what makes you say that Dionne is racist?! I don't think she has a great personality but I don't see her as being racist.

I too wish that Niki had fought for herself just a bit but if she truly thought that she was solely to blame then what would've been the point? As she said, bringing Dionne in over a 1 minute squabble wouldn't have made a difference as to whether or not they won.

I don't really like LaToya just from the things she's done in the past but this show is making her more likeable so far. She seems very easy-going. I wonder how that'll be when she's PM... hopefully next week.

As for the guys, I don't have much of an opinion besides the fact that I really really don't like Jose. He seems like a waste of space to me and he's always disagreeing to things that I don't find as big deals. I don't like Gary either, but I don't think he can help that. He's just too scattered.. I'd hate working on a team with him let alone having him as a PM.

I actually think she should have went out fighting, but who could gave she brought back in the boardroom based on performance?? Dionne could have came back but it would have been more personal. Nikki was too sweet for the show.

:nooo: Dione did wrong to approach Niki, the way she did in front of clients. "Where Hope" was, wasn't Dione's problem at the time, when everything was done and rolling for presentation. Niki handled confrontation the best she could. I liked Niki from first project, and second, and third. She is team player, she has class, but a lil passive, though. For PM, she was unorganized, but the good thing was, that her calm attitude, radiate positive vibes. If she was nervous, and panic, it would have been déjà vu from last episode(when Lisa was PM).

I don't understand what Dione meant: " I got you number, Hussy". Does Dione think she figured Niki out? I mean, Niki wasn't trying to undermine Dione's logic. That part made me wonder: What is Dione's problem? Some people are like Niki, they do not pretend, they are nice, they just are. Everyone is not out to get you, Dione. So loose it up. Is it me, or Dione seemed like she always has her guard way up, like she is on enemy turf, or something. Is it her age that she finds as an obstacle, or because of her age, she likes to be treated more respectful, or attention? I mean did she expect special treatment?
But, racist, she is not, DIVA, she is a lot. Dione is from old school, they are tough. And most of the time, impatience and cranky. But she does what they tell her to do.
Dione is not like Jose, who is lazy, and opposing almost every suggestions, coming from PM or other team players; he did it on second & third projects.

My opinion:
If Nikki fought she should have had to put blame on someone, because that is the way it goes. You got to blame someone for the fall.
If Nikki pointed on Dione, saying that she undermined her authority as a PM, in front of potential clients (who are potential buyers). Trump would have fired Dione, because that is big no-no, in business sale. Who ever scatter buyers, usually that person gets fired in real life, and Trump would have acted upon that.
But, Niki saw the whole project, as her responsibility, especially since every one in the team accomplished their tasks. She knew that they lost the challenge, because they missed crucial points: banner in front, and also they miss-presented outdoor life.
(Now I know why Niki didn't step up for Lisa, she believes that PM is responsible for win or lose of the project )

I really think that Niki didn't call on Dione, not because she was afraid of her.
I think it was because Dione is the oldest in the team, and blaming on her, would have made herself look weak, and she wanted to show strength: by taking responsibility.....

I want to see Dione as PM. Really, I do.

On another note: Trump called LaToya: "My LaToya". Wow, that was nice of him. Latoya did good. She is making her self very likable, and witty. Which is good for a change, since she has been labeled for so long as a...well you all know what, so let me stop here. :winking2:

(yes, I am one of those who disliked La Toya a lot, still do though, it will take a lot for me to forget)

Lol think alot of people will like LaToya more after this. N Nikki did say(in the boardroom) that Dionne asked her something while people were there but Nikki said that she was about to take a group and she felt it was the wrong time. I don't think Dionne was mad at Nikki, that's just how she is. I've met older people like that in my life and they aren't necessarily mean, just very blunt and straightforward. I don't think that wouldn't have gotten Dionne fired though because it wasn't the reason they lost.

What happened between LaToya and her family occured about 20 years ago. If the people she caused the most hurt to, her family, can forgive her, I don't see why any of you can't. I never understood when people held grudges against people for what they did to someone else, especially when those people have forgiven that person. If the person she did it to can move on and let go, I think we should be able to also.

well okay I maybe went too far or something - but her attitude is bad.

I wish I could get the time to watch the episodes, am such a big Apprentice fan... I watched the Big Brother show when LaToya was there too, and felt really down when it was over. Hope I can at least make time for a couple of Apprentice episodes..

 You moved on?
Good for you! :rollingpeace:
Now leave it a rest, because you can't change my mind. :uhuh

I don't hold grudges, I just don't like her. That is big difference.
By the way, I wrote: it will take a lot for me to forget. Meaning her actions then, and giving interview to Victor Guiterrez on 2010, the guy who openly called MJJ (we know what) & wrote disgusting book. Not only that, but at the MJJ memorial, he said a lot of bad things about Michael, while standing in front of Staple in LA, never failed calling him molester, and what not. Whole world mourn that day, that nasty son of b!tch was bashing MJJ on live TV. Even, he was surprised when she granted him an interview.

Family is family, they will always forgive each other, no matter what.

But I am a fan, and I don't forget things very lightly when comes to Michael Jackson, because, it came haunting back at me, when I did.

To the mods, sorry if my post is :eek:fftopic:

I thought Latoya did a great job and when she wore that military jacket at the beginning I thought or Michael. I like Nikki and I thought she did the right thing. If she thought that everyone did their job and they lost anyways well she is the manager it all falls on her. If someone didn't do their job and caused problems then I could see her fighting it. She took the responsibility and I think Donald liked that. I really don't like Dionne. She has an attitude. They find her to be a cold person. As for the guys I hope Jose can be pm so he can get fired. He does nothing and whines and takes offense and makes big issues out of nothing.

That was a fun episode :) I think Nikki is kind and very endearing, but she is not so smart and can cover that up by being so likable and beautiful. She was classy resigning but I think it was well deserved as she clearly did't have a vision at all and it was hard for her to remember that totally unoriginal phrase of 'bringing camping into the twentieth, oh no twentyfirst century. Still I wish people were more like her, only with a little bit more intelligence.

LaToya was cute, but she still hasn't convinced me that she is business smart. Star is playing this game very cunningly. I think she was positive this time because she knew Nikki would go down without her help and she wants to show Trump that she can be kind and is not always negative about others. That way he can trust her judgement more than when she always has the same act. I like Marli, dislike Dionne.

The men were ok. I don't really feel a fondness for any of them, except maybe Meat Loaf. Gary is strange with a capital S, but that rocker/presenter guy is just blah and the others haven't impressed me at all. I think I see potential winners in Lil Jon and the country guy but that could be just editing in their favour. I think Jose was having an off week, but I feel he may be better next time as I remember him working very hard on the first tasks. Richard I really do not like, but he is mean so probably will get far.

Edit: I just read a 'review' of this episode on Dlisted, cracked me up: http://www.dlisted.com/node/41278

I immediately saw Michael when I saw Latoya in the military jacket! She did such an awesome job ; I think Latoya should be a spokeswoman for something.

No one was trying to change your mind so you could've saved that. I was just stating my opinion on people who hold grudges against people who have done nothing to them

Dionne makes me laugh. Does anyone else find the show quite amusing at times?

Latoya was a non factor for this challenge but i'm glad she wasn't sent home so she can have a chance to prove herself when she becomes project manager.

I'm glad LaToya stood up for herself in the boardroom. I can't believe Dionne asked to be fired. What is it with firing yourself? Oh man, I cannot stand when people fire themselves or quit. What did they sign up for this show for? LOL

Yeah, this is the most entertaining Celebrity Apprentice cast to date. Funny cast of characters.

This episode was pretty good. The women are all gonna be gone because they can't seem to win a challenge. This episode it was not anyone fault they lost, but on the last two episodes it was due to poor management. Nene was a good PM. Star and Marlee did good this task. Dionne and LaToya did okay. N I don't know what they Playboy chick did. I don't see how they tried to throw Toya under the bus when the Playboy chick does nothing at all(from what is shown). Toya didn't stand out this episode like she did the last, but she has contributed to the team. Dionne has an attitude but she does contribute and cause problems. The Playboy chick has spoken like 5 sentences all season. I don't see how Nene can talk about LaToya when ths is the 1stepisode where she has really stood out. I think Toya made a great point, you don't ave to be loud and talk over every to be a good leader or team player. She does need to step up more. I also like how the mega team aren't so quick to bash each other like the women are.
My fav part of the episode was when Dionne called Nene a coward lol... That's how you exit a show lol

Yes, I'm glad she said that. Thanks for speaking up for us quiet ones, LaToya!

Now THAT was good TV...Dionne calling Nene a coward. And last week she called Niki a hussy, lol. I just never knew Dionne was like this. I've seen her on talk shows through the years doing interviews and she always seemed so pleasant. Must have been an act.

This was the least entertaining episode so far in my opinion. Glad Dionne is gone. LaToya needs to up her game a bit, because she is just too tame to win anything this way. I hope the women will win next time, otherwise it will not be as exciting to watch anymore. Gary Bussey is so so strange, I want him to stay a little longer.

Funny episode. The women always seem to have these catty problems. I'm glad Dionne is gone though, I think she was the root of most of them anyway

I'm surprised the Playboy girl is still there.. I still don't know her name, don't really know what she looks like or what her voice sounds like. She's done like absolutely nothing and doesn't seem to be too bright (last week's ep when she thought we were in the 20th century )

LaToya does not have project manager qualities, I'm predicting it all won't go down too well.

LaToya Jackson will be on The Celebrity Apprentice

love these cars soo much, looks like the paint has turned out well on it too?

Star Jones Takes Aim At La Toya Jackson's 'Manipulative' Voice; Fires Back At Lisa Rinna's 'Celebrity Apprentice' Digs

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- When "Celebrity Apprentice" cast off Lisa Rinna guest co-hosted Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday, she dished on everything regarding her feud with fellow contestant Star Jones.

And on Thursday, Star took a turn as guest co-host and answered back - and then some!

"If I perceive someone coming after me, I will show you how it's done and I think I did effectively, because Lisa's gone," Star told Kit of Lisa's accusations. "...I came to compete for my charity. I never said anything different... I didn't come in there to win Miss Congeniality, and I probably wouldn't."

On Wednesday's show, Lisa said she received a call from teammate La Toya Jackson revealing that Star had held a "secret dinner" to plot Lisa's "Apprentice" demise prior to the show even shooting. However, Star told a different version of the story.

"You can't have secret dinners in the middle of the Trump International," Star told Kit. "It wasn't like it was up in my bedroom somewhere -- it was up in the middle of the restaurant! And I just invited everyone to dinner.
"I didn't like Lisa's approach the very first episode," she continued. "...And so when I saw that she was ready to throw me under the bus [in the boardroom], I got the bus pass ready."

Star also took aim at La Toya Jackson, saying she uses her famously soft voice to disarm people like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"La Toya is one of the most manipulative little girls you will ever meet... that [voice] works for her brand -- that's who she is," Star told Kit. "She knows how to manipulate you while you're thinking that this is sweetness and light, and it worked.

"In fact, I admired her and the way she played the game," Star continued. "As you watch, you're going to see she's probably the most strategic on the show."

"It's always those quiet and sweet ones that are usually the sneaky ones!' Kit laughed.

"Honey, 'sneaky' is not the word!" Star said. "She wrote all those tell-all books and stuff. Please."
