Oh, David Cassidy was HUGE back in the 70's! Bigger than Justin Bieber I would say in terms of record sales and touring plus a hit TV show (which I loved so much as a child). I remember my older sisters had his posters hanging in their bedroom and he was on the cover of almost every teen magazine out there. I think David had more hits with the Partridge family than Beiber has - so far.
 
This season's going to rock. Say what you want about Latoya, but there's no denying that she's likable on these reality shows.
 
Too bad we can't follow this outside the US. YT has to take the videos down.
 
I hate that Lisa Rinna, of the 3 went home!! Thats so not fair ; Deonne and Starr both teamed up against her to bring her down. Latoyas doing great but I can't wait to see her team project assignment! I hope they bring in the most money for her foundation shes doing for her brother Michael
 
It was kind of amusing when everyone was fighting over the book (because Divas Star and Dionne expected to be credited on the book cover) and LaToya is crying. LOL she didn't like all the fighting.

I disagree. Lisa was talking mess the 1st episode so she is capable of being like they are. I can't lie, I felt bad for her but she should have known not to bring both of them back in the board room with her, that wasn't a wise decision. The Jain reason she got kicked off was because she didn't stand up for herself. Star and Dionne were a mess but she wasn't a good leader either. They all had an equal chance to prove why they should stay but she couldn't do that and was putting herself down. But I did feel sorry for her lol


Can't wait till the next episode :)

Oh that's why Latoya was cryin. Everybody was like WTF is she crying for lol. N Marlee don't take no mess lol. Dionne pissed her off lol
 
I think it was the right decision, firing Lisa. I don't like Star's or Dionne's personality, but at the end of the day they pulled their weight. All Lisa could think of as a reason to fire them was because of their personalities. This show isn't about who's the nicest, or best team player, it's about who can be the best leader, which she clearly wasn't.

I'm curious to see how LaToya will be if/when she becomes project manager

True... I think if she stood her ground she would be there but she feel right into their trap. I wonder will they ever put her as project manager but I don't think so.

You're right about the decision, but I still wanted Dionne gone. She acted like she walked into that room and conceived the concept, when she only contributed to it. Her attitude in general was despicable. I love her as an artist, but can't stand her on this show.

Yeah, both Dionne & Star are the bitchiness. I still can't believe they wanted "their" name on the cover. Sad.

I remember LaToya actually saying she cannot stand to see people arguing and fighting and that she feels like crying when that happens. She's one to actually not show her feelings in public, and Michael was the same, but it happens. It can happen. Michael himself said he cannot stand people arguing and fighting, that he chooses to leave the room for he cannot handle with that.

More empathy for people would make a difference in perception.
 
I'm all for having a healthy debate BUT I can't stand it either when people get crazy acting during arguments....over-talking each other, getting up in each other's faces, cussing, etc.

There are people, on the other hand, who LIVE for it!!

I believe Latoya and Nikki Taylor will come into their own soon. Like that old saying goes, "Still waters run deep." People always make the mistake of underestimating the quiet ones or the so-called 'weak' ones.

I'm sort of dreading Latoya being Project Manager because I expect Star and Dionne to to eat her alive if they lose. It was painful watching Lisa Rinna take those on last night. And you can see it's going to be the same for the rest of the women outside of Nene. What i'm waiting to see is those up against strong personalities like Richard Hatch and Jose Canseco.
 
Latoya looked so much like Michael. It was uncanny. I hate to see anybody pick on her, its going to be like they're messing with Michael and I'm going to get mad.

Latoya and Michael hated to see people argue because the abused child in them sense where its going.

Yup, I agree. Judging from the first episode, I had no idea she had such a horrible personality. I mean that one disagreement she had with Star at the pizza place was justifiable, but in this week's episode she was horrible. I couldn't believe what she was saying to Marlee :eek:
 
I don't like Star or Dionne very much. I don't like people who keep saying "I" this and that. You are still part of a team. I didn't like the way Star told Latoya to suck it up. I just thought there might have been a better way. Their comments to people are a little unnecessary. There were times Latoya looked just like Michael.

Yeah at first i was like why the heck is she crying? and then what you said came to mind.

Latoya's fedors was cute, it had a feminine twist.

It was interesting seeing Lisa set up like that. I didn't like her but i was pulling for her to defend herself so that Dionne coulde be sent home.

I know, i hope that Joe Jackson side of her that she mentioned comes out because she can't let those women play her like that she sees what they're doing.
