LaToya Jackson will be on 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

I'm all for having a healthy debate BUT I can't stand it either when people get crazy acting during arguments....over-talking each other, getting up in each other's faces, cussing, etc.

There are people, on the other hand, who LIVE for it!!

I believe Latoya and Nikki Taylor will come into their own soon. Like that old saying goes, "Still waters run deep." People always make the mistake of underestimating the quiet ones or the so-called 'weak' ones.

I can't stand all that either. The bitchiness, the backstabbing, the diva attitudes and cliques (I really hate cliques). Why is it so bad to work together as a team? Yes, the object is to win the game (or get hired as Trump's apprentice) but why can't these people do it with dignity and class? Well, then there wouldn't be much of a show I guess, lol.

Yes, never underestimate the quiet ones.

I guess it's easier said then done right? With celebs especially, they're so used to getting their way and having people listen to only them that it can be hard for them to listen to others. I'm sure when they watch the show back they'll be ashamed of how they behaved though

I watched the show on yt, first episode and second. I agreed with Trump: Lisa had to go.
When you are PM, you run show, not your team players.
Lisa shouldn't have agreed with everything what Star's, and Dione's had to say, or their ideas. She should have asked, and listened EVERYONE's idea, and delegate accordingly. When Dione and Marlee had exchange of words, Lisa should have stepped in, and listen what Marlee had to say. Instead, she played mute. Even when Nikki had her opinion, Lisa didn't listen to her, but went along whatever Star, and Dione had to say. Doesn't work that way. Sorry, but I , would have hate, having Lisa for project manager. One more thing, she isn't a team player. On first episode, she was talking back at Star, she was more complaining than others, and rant on her in front of Trump right away. When Latoya messed up what A.S.A.P. is, Lisa was puffing (rolling eyes), it was too obvious. What goes around comes around, guys. Dione caused a headache to Star on her first assignment as PM. But Star handled it, by taking charge on what was more important: raising money for charity. Which she did. Nikki did a great job, and she was rewarded.
So far, having Star on the team, is not bad (just needs to keep her at the bay), having Dione is headache, and challenge. I agree with Nene, Dione is the oldest, and talking back at her, or telling her to shut, is not easy, and no one wants to do it.
Star is all about wining, but Lisa was lousy PM. I have seen in my life PM like Lisa, usually they don't last long. Dione is the hardest type to deal in the team. People like her on the team, you just nod at their ideas, and let it go. On another note: the theme wasn't original.
Lisa had enough player on her team, she should have given task to one of them to googled it: was it original or not.
Lisa used 25% of her team, that is why she had to go.

B!tches like Star, Dione, you have on each team, but being a PM, you need to be Da B!tchest.

Good luck to each one of them.

So far, I am impressed with Nikki, very intelligent team player. Latoya? Hm..she wants to stay longer on the team, so she is quite. Donald has said pretty nice things about Latoya, well, I am eager to see her as PM.

Does anybody have any perdictions of who will win or who they think wil last long?

I sooo agree... It seems that everyone forgot(not on here, but other places) how Lisa was the first episode. People are saying she was bullied and left with class and dignity PLEASE!! The only difference between Lisa vs Star and Dionne is that they will say it to your face and not behind your back like Lisa did the first episode. Then with Lisa's "sistas" comment after they chose the name(1st episode) was CLASSESS!! Like you said, she rep what she sowed. Say what you want about Star, but she sure has a way with words..., I was like damn Star lol...
Sidenote: I can't believe some people are trying to turn this into a race issue.

I know. I am reading all these comments on the web, can't help but laughing, and asking myself: have we all watched the same show? Since the show started, Lisa was very vocal, had opinion, and critique about every decision made. When her chance came to run a project, she failed, and everyone on the web is defending her, like poor Lisa. Please. Lisa would have acted same way if she wrote the whole damn book. Lisa made a comment that the font for pizza was too small on Star's PM task, but failed to see that fonts for the book on her's PM task, were even smaller. As I say, what goes around comes around. There is no way out of it.

Who ever wants to turn into race issue, my question to them: why didn't turn into race issue, when Lisa made "racial" comment? She portrayed black women like part of ghetto community: "sisters are strong on this". Lisa started all this: black vs white women on the group since the show started.

Only because Star, and Dione are in the group, but Lisa is out, has nothing to do with race, it has to do with competency. Star will have problems, because she overworks herself on the project, she wants to do all by herself, her rules, And then, she wants to be fully credited for. Hmm, there is no I in the team, that is why Star needs to share responsibility, if she doesn't, if she pushes, heads will roll.
Latoya is hanging there.

ITA about not making this thing a race issue. It is a personality issue, and everything you said about Lisa is true. I do remember clearly her making the behind the back snide comments. But gotta tell ya, Dionne and Star were so over the top rude in this second episode that their actions made Lisa's stuff forgettable.

That they wanted their names on the cover of the book was all about themselves. Star admittedly had every right to believe she deserved the credit, but the fact is, Lisa did what she was supposed to with her. Delegated the person with the strongest communications skill to write the book. Like the men did with John Rich. Dionne wasn't even the originator of the idea, and she wanted credit too like the whole concept was hers.

I do believe they wanted Lisa to be the project manager because of just what you said, what goes around comes around, and she complained about things when someone else was in the role, so they wanted her to take it on to shut her up.

She definitely didn't have the necessary leadership skills. No one on the panel has them to the extent Star has. And Star made that clear again from the beginning, taking charge, and then pullling back when it suited her, and having everyone looking to Lisa again for direction, when she hadn't been consistently leading them, which made her look even more incompetent when she tried.

The women in that room were not working as a team, but came more from a place of egos. one upmanship, and even retaliation. Star jumped all over Lisa for a simple pep talk. Dionne was snippy at times for no reason AT ALL, and her manner with Marlee was not only insensitive but demeaning.

They made Lisa sympathetic because of their overwhelming nasty attitudes.

I'm enjoying this show very much so far. I didn't expect that to be honest. I do feel like the business world is very harsh. It's all about results, sometimes it seems like the means always justifiy the end results, which I don't think is true. I detst Dionne since the last episode. She seems so egocentric. I quite liked Lisa, but I think she was justfully fired. Latoya, even though she made a cute lion, is not very present. But that Playboy girl is the most quiet of them all. Sometimes I forget she's even there. For the men, I detest Richard Hatch. All talk, no content it seems. Gary Busey scares me. I like Meat Loaf and the baseball man the best so far. Lil Jon and that presenter/rockstar guy don't stand out at all.

Does anybody have any perdictions of who will win or who they think wil last long?

I don't see how Star Jones doesn't at least make it to the finale . She's seems to be a beast at fundraising and she's obviously a beast in the boardroom.

On the men's side, not sure, but wouldn't be surprised if Richard Hatch, John Rich, or Meatloaf were to make it to the end. Especially with Meatloaf and John Rich, Trump can do the good vs. evil match up (one of those 2 opposite Star Jones) he likes to do in his finales.

To be honest I don't really know. I can see Star being one of the final competitors. She doesn't seem like a pleasant person to work with but she gets the job done and she's a great talker.

I guess I won't be able to tell better until more people have a chance at PM

Lisa had her own show on TV, I think it was about remodeling the house. She had bossy attitude, very rarely mentioned team designer's team, who did the whole work. But is one thing, having a show, and presenting other people's work as your own, and total another thing when you need to run the project as project manager in Celebrity Apprentice. I think she mixed her roles.

I don't see Lisa as sympathetic figure, at all. Marlee yes, and Nikki maybe Latoya, not Lisa.
If this was first episode, I would have made Lisa sympathetic, but she showed her true colors, so I can't. But, don't get me wrong, I don't agree with Dione nastiness attitude toward Marlee. I hated it. Marlee is deaf, Dione acted like she was dumb. That was wrong. Situation with Marlee, and Nikki, Lisa didn't handle at all. That is PM responsibility, to scan situation, and act upon it. Instead she turn her head, avoid confrontation with Dione. That part made me very upset. Because if Dione is not aware of her actions, Lisa should have had talk with her, not run from the problem. When you have weak PM, there is no work team, period. There is bickering, and fighting, no surprising.
To me it looked like, Dione felt Star, and she was used by Lisa; because Star wrote whole book, and she conceived idea (that part made me laugh), and felt like she needed to step up for both of them. Then Dione start acting nasty.
In my opinion Lisa didn't not respect her team, because she didn't acknowledge them as an entity. If she did, they would stand for her. But they didn't, also they weren't unanimously against Dione as a team player, only Marlee spoke (due to direct confrontation), but the rest not. I guess they didn't like being ignored, so PM had to go.
I hear, that Trump asked Lisa to come back, maybe is the rumor I don't know.

I agree with both of you right now for the women Star is the strongest competitor. From the men, I'm not sure...... But I like their ability to work together. Like someone said, the playboy girl and Nikki Taylor barley talk, I don't think I've seen them even do a confessional. I REALLY LOVE THE SHOW N CAN'T WAIT TILL SUNDAY LOL

^Artists Singers Authors Performers

I think
.... With a purpose lol... Poor LaToya it took her a few times to get it lol

Once again, I agree lol. I don't even see Marlee as sympathetic because she can stand up for herself well. I actually agreed with what Dionne was saying but not how she said it. The book didn't need to be about a def lion because it was too sophisticated. Not that little kids don't know who deaf people are but for the task at hand it wasn't right. Lisa should've took more control of her group but I think she had in mind that if they failed she could put it on someone else(which actually could've worked). N all the voted off contestants come back toward the end of the show.

IA...Lisa was not a good project manager, but as yet, I haven't seen anyone on the team with great leadership skills. Star has the basics to be one, but getting people to want to work FOR you as well as with you is important. And Star's abrasiveness undermines her abilities. She rightly told LaToya to get it together, but the way she did it was harsh.

I don't see Lisa as sympathetic figure, at all. Marlee yes, and Nikki maybe Latoya, not Lisa.

Normally, she wouldn't be sympatheic to me either, but Star and Dionne's attitudes were so bad, they made Lisa look good in comparison, or at least not as annoying. Star and Dionne were just over the top combative with the 'tude.

I don't agree with Dione nastiness attitude toward Marlee. I hated it. Marlee is deaf, Dione acted like she was dumb.

Wonderfully said.

To me it looked like, Dione felt Star, and she was used by Lisa; because Star wrote whole book, and she conceived idea (that part made me laugh), and felt like she needed to step up for both of them. Then Dione start acting nasty.

I don't know how Dionne felt really about anything. She seemed just generally irritated and cantankerous. A part of it could be she thinks she's being perceived as a weak link because last week she was such a mess at the cash register. She might be overcompensating now and making claims about her contributions to counter some negative impressions she thought were formed about her. It was indeed laughable her claiming she conceived the whole idea.

But Star was no more being used than John Rich was in being assigned the task of writing the book. Writing was seen as one of Star's strengths as it was John's. Besides, with Star's control issues and determination to win, I believe she wanted to write it because she believes no one could do it as well as she could anyway IMO.
But she was right in calling out Lisa on wanting her to pick out everything about the book.

In my opinion Lisa didn't not respect her team, because she didn't acknowledge them as an entity. If she did, they would stand for her. But they didn't, also they weren't unanimously against Dione as a team player, only Marlee spoke (due to direct confrontation), but the rest not. Oddly enough, I think the person who has the most respect by most of the team is Star. I don't think they like her personality, but I think they respect her smarts, organization abilities, verbal skills, and candor, even though they don't like her manner all the time.

Marlee spoke up because Marlee can be as candid and in your face as Star. The others, except Nene, don't say much of anything at this point. Marlee is the one I like the most so far.

I hope they don't bring back Lisa before the finale. I want to see how the others interact now that the person who was supposedly a source of contention for many is now gone. Should be interesting.

I can't wait to see what Latoya's assignment is going to be. I hope her charity gets enough and more, for Michael. He & Donald Trump were friends.

I did and Latoya was fantastic!!!! I absolutely love her I wish she was friend of mine!!

I loved Latoya's military/naval Jacket, she did a great job with the presentation of the RV. I wish Dionne would have gone home. The Men's team did a good job considering most of the members were half assing it most of the time. I like Gary but that accident left him seemingly mentally unstable.

I really like John Rich and Marlee too.

Yes, I watched. Interesting episode. What a bunch of characters. I'm happy LaToya got some praise from Trump because she knew a lot about the product (the RV and its contents) and did very well showing the guy from the RV company around (she said she had taken notes during the initial meeting and just remembered a lot of information). She's a hard worker. I'm really interested to see how she will handle being a project manager. Hopefully that will be next week's episode.

I wish Nikki had fought for herself. I think it was a little wimpy to just take complete blame for her team losing. Why go through all that work just to throw in the towel so easily.

Star is so controlling and bossy. I can't stand bossy people who are bossy even when they aren't supposed to be bossy. But then sometimes I like her too.

Dionne is just cranky and crotchety with a chip on her shoulder.

Oh and I'm glad they came over to Brooklyn to shop for their RV supplies, lol!

ya I agree, just because you lost doesn't mean you have to quit. And Dionne, shes a racist and just a miserable person who needs to go. We know now where Whitney gets her attitude problem from. Her and Starr.

Uhhhh how is she racist??? Mean, yes. Racist, no.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nikki is a sweetheart but she was right, she couldn't really blame anybody but herself. She was better than Lisa as a PM, but she could've been better. She was in charge of the outside and in the end it's the reason they lost, so there was no blame to shift on anyone. Yea, she could brought Dionne back because of the argument(which she over exaggerated in the boardroom and wasn't that serious), but what des that have to do with why they lost??? Nothing. N Nikki needed to go just for the simple fact that they lost to Garry Busseys team and they didn't have their stuff together. Lol
I liked the episode, it was funny lol.
- I really loved LaToya, what a sweetheart! She did a wonderful job.
-Star was being Star but to a lesser degree. I actually agree with her about the direction thing but she didnt have to be bossy.
-Dionne was A MESS!!! I was laughing so hard at the conversation she had with Star about Nikki.
-Nikki is a sweetheart and a TRUE CLASS ACT! My only problem is that she was too passive as PM and she should have made things more clearer(ie shouldn't have left them at the place by themselves and expected them to know her vision of the outside, which was her task. She should have told LaToya and Dionne to go to Home Depot instead of BB&B, or sent someone to go there.)
-Nene didn't really do or say much this episode. She made some good points though.
-Marlee I like her, she is funny. I think she will always be mad at Dionne lol
-Hope(playboy chick) don't know her but she is just skating by. To me she really hasn't contributed to the team( from what is shown). I don't think she will last long.
Don't feel like getting into the men lol. If it wasn't for John Rich and Lil Jon,they would be in a world of trouble. They saved them this episode cause they should have lost. Those are my fave two men. The only men I don't like are Jose, Garry, and Richard. Can't wait till next week!!!

In so many past Apprentice seasons Trump never liked when someone didn't defend or fight for themselves in the boardroom. Now he suddenly thinks it's a great thing. It really does help to have a pretty face in business, doesn't it. Even Star praised Niki's performance and she couldn't say one positive thing about herself? Niki should have stated what she did right with the job. Even if she knew she was going to get fired she should have gone down fighting. Fighting isn't a good word to use though. Just defending herself and stating all the things she did right.

Jose is too lazy and argumentative, lol.

Gary is a piece of work.

I kind of like Meatloaf (as a contestant and a meal).
