Jacksons & intervention claims (Read post#22 letter by Katherine & others DENYING interventions)

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Me too, because the family has been getting away with this crap for 18 months. No one is challenging anything they are saying. Also May 14,2009 would've been a fine time for an intervention since they were all together at the restaurant. They could've swooped MJ up and took him to rehab or whereever they were planning on taking him. The family also had plenty of time to approach AEG, Randy Phillips, Kenny Oretega, Karen Faye or Travis Payne before MJ died. They all knew MJ was in LA rehearsing for these shows, why couldn't they all come together then for an intervention?
because there is nothing to intervention. In his mother's own words, whenever she saw him, he was always himself. His mother is the only Jackson closed to Michael and could see him anytime. if she saw nothing wrong, how could the rest who barely saw him know anything better than her? Michael Jackson was the healthy man, he was dead in hands of his own doctor. He hired the doctor for his tour, all he wanted was to have some sleep for his work. There were no painkillers in his house, most pills were for his insomnia, apparently they didn't work on him cause he didn't even finish them. I am so sick of this family's lies, they would never give us the timeline because they had nothing. If they had, they would say that long long time ago. As fans kept saying, what's the point of keep mentioning their many many so called interventions on every single interviews they attended when their bother/son was died because of his doctor's incompetence? I couldn't believe they had repeated the same same shit for 18mths, the only lame excuse they could find to save their face why Michael distanced himself from them, left nothing for them. it must be something wrong about him, yes, drugs, not our endless greed and jealousy. This family made me sick.
Just see his three children, Michael was the single parent who raise three children on his own, he was their whole world. There is no way a druggie could raise three beautiful, well mannered angels who loved him dearly "the best father you could ever imagine".

Agrees with the above.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

The next time one of the "intervention" story-teller's makes a television appearance in order to give an interview, we should BOMBARD that show with this information. Who knows we "might" just get lucky and the story-teller will be challenged.

I would love to see this but honestly I don't think media people are interested in challenging the 'intervention stories'. Just like they weren't interested in challenging Presley and her 'I left him after the divorce and never looked back" stories. They hear what they want to hear and that's all what matters to them. Sadly.

yep so true... and they allowed Presley to say that even though they knew she was hanging out with MJ after the divorce. The media doesn't care.. They only hear what they want. They will never challenge the Jackson family because they like what they are saying and that's why it's so hurtful because Janet and Rebbie are throwing MJ under the bus just like the media wants them to.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

I am not very good at researching stuff, so can someone find the note written in Michael's hand about some medication that would be less addictive than another, and post it here I think it would be very helpful.

It did not have a date on it but at least it would show that Michael was concerned about NOT becoming addicted to the medication he had to take.

And I am thinking this thread may need to moved to the Case forum.

I remember that too.. I think that's when he was in Florida with that Dr Faraschian or whatever his name was. I have no idea what he was being treated for then though. I still wonder if any of these other doctors will be testifying at all.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Adn the media need to do a better job...so far no one has asked the obvious questions: When did these interventions occured?

Oprah did.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKf6vQvkGyY&feature=related

Oprah_ " ....But he did look awfully thin and appeared to not to be the Michael that we have known or seen in years past. Were you and the family aware that there was a problem?''

Janet_ " At that very time? I hadn't seen,uh, well no, the last time I saw Michael is gonna be a month before. I was going to give my parents a surprise party, so we were all there, yeah, we were all there."

Oprah_ " And was he unusually thin then?"

Janet_ " He was thin. We knew that he had a problem. We all did, and I think that a lot of
people think that we were in denial, which we weren't at all, and there was ...we tried interventions several times."

Oprah_ " I heard you said that to Robin Roberts. I watched Robin Roberts, and I heard you said that you all tried interventions like full blown, you know, I've been in interventions before for friends like when everybody is in the room, and he walks into the room..."

Janet_ " Yes."

Oprah_ " ...and everybody states how they feel..."

Janet_ " Yes."

Oprah_ " ...and how did he receive that?"

Janet_ " He was very much in denial."

Oprah_ " In denial about it."

Janet_ " Yes."

Oprah_ " He didn't think he had a problem."

Janet_ " No."

Oprah_ " Were you all worried that something like this could happen?"

Janet_ " Of course. I mean, that's why did what we did. That's why we tried it several times, and he was very much in denial"

Oprah_ " AND WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME, THAT YOU RECALL, THAT YOU ALL HAD DONE
AND INTERVENTION?"

Janet_ " Oh,I...I....I....I don't remember. I remember the last one though. I wasn't able to attend. Everyone else was there."

Oprah_ '' And can you share a bit of what you all would say? Because I was at an intervention once, and I tell you it was remarkable because it really is like being bombarded with love. You're in a room; you see somebody who is sinking, who is going down, an everybody just tries to pour out their heart and to really save them through love.''

Janet_" There was a moment when I had to actually walk away. I couldn't take it. I was so
overwhelmed..I was...with emotion, and I actually had to walk out of the room. It was just too much for me to handle."

Oprah_ " With what people were saying?"

Janet_ " With what they were saying and just seeing him, and knowing that there was an issue, and how much he was in denial....."

isn't that something how janet couldn't even give one straight answer to oprah...about how the interventions went......she couldn't tell her not 0ne thing that was said...see its things like that ....that make people think they are lieing.....please...she has NO IDEA was an intervention looks like. She couldn't even recall WHEN the last one was.....unbelievable. This is how I know she is lieing...no straight answers.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

she can't remember? how convenient.. and I guess it wasn't important enough since she couldn't make it .. I've lost all respect for Janet Jackson. She claims her brother needed help yet here she is laughing and giggling everytime I see her. It could not have been that serious

Exactly!

Not one straight answer and it wasn't even that important since she can't remember it and then the other one she couldn't even come to. That shows how much she cared doesn't it?

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Some people do smile when nervous or upset, and she said to be one of

them. She even apologized for it, I think, during the Robin Roberts interview.

all the time? your brother is dead yet she can't stop laughing? come on now.. Janet's behavior has been beyond suspect since MJ died..

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Thanks for that, virginia_woolf.

The note from the doctor is dated 2002 and interestingly has This Is It in it.

As for the Janet's interview - I can't help wondering how closed off Michael must have been from his family to have resisted their attempts to help him. Are they saying that Michael was too stubborn, wilful and self-indulgent to resist SEVERAL interventions? That even though they would have mentioned Michael's children and the trouble they would be in, Michael STILL WAS RESISTANT?

Why would he be resistant now when he was willing to go for help in the past.

And I just have to say this - I really feel sorry for Michael. Whenever he confided in those he thought cared about him about his health issues, he was met with derision and doubt. Look at the stuff that Boteach has said. What Quincy Jones has said. The stuff that his mother said in that interview. In Michael's shoes, I would do the same thing - shut down and not discuss my health issues with anyone who did not need to know.

I noticed that too...was TII seven year in the planning??? it makes me wonder. I agee with you....Michael kept all of them away for a reason....he knew that their mouths would run .

Exactly because none of them believed him.. I wonder if Quincy feels guilty now since the autopsy confirmed MJ had vitiligo and he also had some lung issue which Quincy thought MJ was lying about.

Thanks, EW. I thought it was strange that TII would have been referenced in 2002.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like a note a doctor would write. It's full of lay-out and spelling mistakes and esp. the part about MJ being the best and an icon is extremely awkward to me.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

That note seems very sketchy especially the one from the doctor.. He sounds like he was trying to give MJ some potent narcotics.. Now that's not cool at all

What does that mean, potent narcotics?

google the drug if u wanna know what it is. its used instead of stronger painkillers like D has no withdrawl symptoms

Exactly. An intervention, or SEVERAL is such a big emotional activity, how is it that you cannot remember one single session. This was a story they decided to give, because they heard people were saying they were in denial (Janet's own words).

Meme can we write out petitions and send it to them?

yep! very true.. and she didn't give a date because there are none. I'm pretty sure whatever date she gave, the fans will know where MJ was ( LOL..) and also like you said interventions are just very major and emotional undertakings why wouldn't she remember? It could not have been recent if she couldn't remember

Yep! This letter is as fake as a 3 dollar bill. No doctor would talk like that
" U ain't seen nothin yet" ?

Michael said that during a speach back then.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Meme, I am so glad that you are doing this and getting to the bottom of this bullshit that Rebbie, Janet are pushing. These FACTS need to be pushed into the FACES of the Jackson family, AND all of the people support this 'intervention" crap. This is to make Michael look bad and nothing else.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Wouldn't finding out the timeline of the family talking about getting together for a reunion tour with MJ to the media just as important to establishment here!? Since that's what we think "the drug interventions" were really for!?

Like when did we first start to hear about a family reunion tour with everybody in the family (not just the brothers the J5) which was something people like Jermaine were trying to say to the media yrs ago! But, that was different from the whole family and Janet being involved as of recently, correct!?

When did Janet go on LKL and told him she was in a press conference call with MJ to convince him of touring with the fam!? Did she give a date on when that conference call happened?! I don't believe she did?! But, she did say she "been trying" meaning it wasn't the first time trying to convince MJ of this family tour by her! Could her appearance on LKL be close to the a date of one of the conference calls she made to MJ?

I hope I'm making sense here!? :/
