Michael had health issues he was going through at the time and he was on medication---allegedly a lupus flare-up where he was put on prednisone. That will give you side effects, including weight gain. Remember during the early 2000's Michael was bigger than he usually was. It was because of the meds he was on.

Off course he didn't look well at the MSG tribute concerts of 2001. He wasn't feeling well. It wasn't because he was strung out.

I have been prescribed medications after surgery that I had and I had to finish ALL of it..but they made me groggy, loopy and even nauseated at times. ALL prescriptions have side effects and different people are effected different ways.

exaclty, this was well documented by mez during 03-05 about the medications he had to take for his issues and how it would effect him sometimes.

But I don't know why fans are STILL discussing it? It's like not beleiving he got vitiligo, all over again..?

I remember the "debates" on some site, you know the site, where all the time Mike was scrutinized, and many believed he lied about vitiligo. Where are those experts fans, now? :smilerolleyes: I think I know!! Some of them probably trying hard to "demonstrate" that Mike was an addict, a druggie...

I agree Memefan, this needs to stop! The fact that the family is willing to throw MJ under the bus is sad.. Without MJ, they would all still be in Gary Indiana somewhere, yet they don't have enough respect to help their brother even though he was killed. They know the hell MJ went through over the years and if they thought he was in deep depression or something they should've stopped at nothing to help him. Interventions have nothing to do with having emotional problems of being falsely accused and publicly ridiculed. If anything Mike needed emotional help and loving and caring but his family didn't provide it. I still can't get over Janet laughing and grinning days after MJ died. Her reaction alone made me vomit. I figured she was pissed about something and now we know. Leonard Rowe said she wanted MJ to tour with them and he refused so she got pissed and now this is her way of throwing him under the bus.

I can't stand her, Rebbie or Randy. They know they are lying. Why give up if you believe your brother is in danger? WTF???

I agree with Memefan we need to put an end to this farce and let the 'family' know we don't appreciate what they are doing to MJ. For my part I refuse to buy another family product again. I have not seen Colored Girls or WDIGM2 just because Janet is in it. I will never support her career again. As far as the other ones I won't be supporting them either. Their behavior is just ridiculous. When there is a DA and a lawyer by the name of Tom Mesereau who is supporting the victim more than the family, something is wrong.

Hi Memefan,

Thanks for the update and I appreciate your dedication to what you believe in. I have a suggestion and I readily admit that it's unconventional and maybe ill advised but why not contact tabloid reporter Roger Friedman? If you want to expose the devil, sometimes its necessary to go to his house. All of the intervention stories began in the tabloid press and were later picked up by mainstream outlets. Roger seems to be a sounding board used to push an agenda by some any many of the addiction stories began with Roger. As shady and unreliable as he is, even Roger exposed Joe and Leonard Rowe's plans to insert themselves in the TII concerts and he wrote an article in which he described Katherine Jackson as "pimping out" MJ's kids to GMA. I think it will be an uphill battle trying to convince a respected journalist to investigate this. Besides, what better way to expose a lie than to use the same person who spread it? Roger can reveal who gave him these stories, if he investigated any of the claims prior to reporting them and the motivation behind the claims. The only problem is, can we trust Roger about anything because he is a known liar, lol.

His history with MJ is murky & very bias...I understand since MJ's death, he's
been less of an ass***e (I'm not willing to write "fair" & "truthful" yet)...And his audience is not big & diverse enough.

My first choice was Nekesa Mumbi, she is an entertainment reporter for the Associated Press. We reached out to her, but our impression was she is not into these big family dramas... She mostly reports on the music scene & movies..but since AP's stories are picked up by many local & international outlets, we wanted her.

She acknowledged our piece, but nothing more.

We also reached out to Raymond Bain, we sent her clips of her Access Hollywood interview denying the addiction stories...and just asked that she agrees to a quick phone conversation with us. Nada.

I know she hates Randy Jackson (probably more than I do ...if that's even possible lol) and thought her hate for Randy & a few other Jacksons is stronger than her disdain for MJ fans. Hmmmm...

I am not surprised. She probably hates MJ fans too (lol) ..because of these loonies "ganging" up on her after she filed that 40Mil lawsuit.

Before I even told her why I was reaching out to her for, I apologized for every nasty things some fans sent and/or said about her. because I have era some of them. smdh

Anyway, back to square one.

Geraldo might be the next step...but he is an attention whore and is friendly with Randy ..and other Jacksons. Blah. I'm not even gonna bother with him.

May be mean, but I need someone who sees the Jacksons for who they really are...some fans can't even see it, so it's hard to expect others to.
