Thanks!
Here's a very touching video about love. It made me cry.

There is something so special about his saying this,
"The only thing I have to give you is a poor gift, and it's myself. And I always gave it."
Love.
MJ, in his song lyrics, so often sounded to me so sure about himself and her...like he couldn't understand how it could be so clear to him that he was the one for her and her not get it...or at least it seemed to him that she was having some trouble catching on to the fact and his "master plan." hahaha.
Same here!!!! :heart:Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers here! Hope your day was filled with lots of love!

^ You're welcome. I think it is especially lovely because it is a true story. And how sweet that he tells her before he dies that he will love her on through eternity.
I've been listening lately to some songs off of a Best of Stevie Wonder CD, and I was thinking that the song, That Girl, if ya switch the script on it, would be kind of fun to put it in MJ's and his LITD girl's (if she exists) perspective.
MJ, in his song lyrics, so often sounded to me so sure about himself and her...like he couldn't understand how it could be so clear to him that he was the one for her and her not get it...or at least it seemed to him that she was having some trouble catching on to the fact and his "master plan." hahaha. So here's the lyrics to That Man, instead of That Girl.
That man thinks that he's so fine
That soon he'll have her mind
That man thinks that he's so smart
That soon he'll have her heart
He thinks in no time flat
That he'll be free and clear to start
With his emotional rescue of love
that you'll leave torn apart
That man thinks that he's so bad (well, he sings that in a song doesn't he? lol)
He'll change her tears to joy from sad (sounds like what he sings to her in Best of Joy)
He says he keeps the upper hand
'Cause He will please his woman
He doesn't use his love to make her weak (I should hope not)
He uses love to keep her strong(now that's beautiful)
And inside me there's no room for doubt
That it won't be too long
Before she tells him that she loves him
That she wants him
That her mind, soul and body needs him
Tell him that she'd love to, that she wants to
That she needs to do all that she has to
To be in his love
She's been hurting for a long time
And he's been playing for a long time
You know it's true
He's been holding for a long time
And she's been running for a long time
It's time to do what they have to do
That man knows every single woman
Would want him to ask her for her hand
But he says his love is much too deep
For them to understand
He says his love has been crying out (in song lyrics?)
But his lover hasn't heard
But what he doesn't realize is that
she's listened to every word
That's why I know he'll tell that he loves her
That he wants her
That his mind, soul and body needs her
Tell her that he'd love to, that he wants to
That he needs to do all that he has to
To be in her love
Just some fun. Don't know if it was ever like that for them or not. But maybe, hey?
Here's Stevie's version. Great song. Fun groove.

Hi Ash! Happy 2 C U 2!!
Stevie Wonder is the BOMB! It's amazing how you are able to make things fit so well with this thread!
I woke up to this song one day. Whenever that happens, I first check out the lyrics to see if it is relevant to this thread perhaps. Such a beautiful and romantic song. Check it out for yourselves!
That's true.. In Invincible he calls her "that doggone girl is invincible" or something like that lol

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
In other words, it is not May 21, 2011. God did not specify a date or time.
But...
It will occur. God does not lie and He would not send Jesus to lie either.
If there's anything positive that may have come out of the May 21st prediction, it may be that it probably caused more people to purchase Bibles if they had never heard about the rapture.
Happy Saturday, peeps.

Yes, just the weather alone is shouting this message ... loud and clear.
Dont forget the vulcanos in Iceland..
Hi everyone. This thread hasn't seemed to have much life lately. And I'm not going to be a bundle of sunshine either.
My husband had a stroke last weekend and is still in the hospital. He is not able to walk probably, for his right side was affected by the stroke and he falls over to the his right side. Even with a walker he falls over to the right after a few steps. So once he's home, maybe tomorrow, he will need to continue with physical therapy for some time. He was in ICU for several days for his blood sugars were scary high as well as his blood pressure, and there has been worry that he will have a blood clot...and obviously...another stroke. So he has been getting strong blood thinners and insulin intraveniously. Fun. And his finger is pricked ever four hours. Constant interruptions when in the hospital...very little true rest.
This is all happening during my son's finals week, and he had a ten page research paper due, and the stress is just high. Also the other morning our water heater began to prefusely leak and I had to take care of that on my own, for I didn't want to calll my husband and ask him for help in case it caused him to feel stress...which he obviously doesn't need. I did make the necessary decisons on my own...purchased a new water heater through good ol' home Depot, and we did get water in the house once again. This is why I admire single moms so...they deal with these things all on their own time after time. They so have my respect. But all is good now...I've been leaning on the Lord and He has been my help, of course.
Can't wait to hear more of the Gibb/MJ song and to evaluate those lyrics! We can probably find a way to make that song work in here, right girls?
Take care all!
