Hey, that's pretty cool what you said there. Thanks! I think I'll skip trying to fill stuff in with what I think though, I appreciate your reply to me. Thanks!
Thank you, AllForMJ, for answering my question!
Oh my gosh, FT, no need to apologize for it...this makes great discussion. So if my wording made you feel like I was annoyed or something, I absolutely was not...I just wanted further discussion, and I wished for clarity in what you were meaning.
So thank you for doing that in this last post. And I think you did a good job here of supporting your perspective.
I found it amusing you bringing up that Leah would make the ideal mate for hairy Esau because of her weak eyesight, haha. In fact, it was Isaac's weak eyesight on his deathbed that made him unable to catch that it was Jacob there disguised as Esau, instead of Esau, receiving the birthright. Weak eyesight can be very forgiving, and miss quite a few details. It's sometimes not that fun when I put my glasses on in my house and see what all really needs to still be cleaned!
So please, feel very free to add your own perspective when discussing the wonderful stories in God's word. It fills the stories out, and reminds others that the characters in the Bible are just people like us.
