Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

Well regarding a woman (if there is one) not being able to hold it in and not say things about their relationship (if there was one)... I think it would be stupid of her to talk to media for many reasons so maybe then she would talk to her friends or a stranger. Maybe she could talk of a relationship of someone she loves, but not say the name. Why would she have to say his name? Usually you won't know the person a stranger is in love with anyways. If to friends then there must be a reason they could be trusted or perhaps if things got out that there was a relationship, it wouldn't be believed anyways so it's no big deal. Just imagine someone came here and said they are the mystery girl (it happened in this thread actually) who would believe them? So in that way she is safe. Something like this is unbelievable when it comes down to putting a person in that place we have ..um.. discovered or created here. The place beside him. So there may be a person, and her identity, even if discovered or shared, will always be safe if they weren't together in person for this simple reason of not being believed even if she did "tell all". That's my opinion.
:agree:

If it were me  ....... (dream of all girls :wild:), I really do not speak anything to anyone, NEVER. I'd keep it forever with me (and nobody else -_-) in my thoughts and in my heart.  :girl_in_love: The world does not need to know these things........ -_- :coffee:

Just promise me, whatever we say
Whatever we do to eachother
For now we take a vow to just
Keep it in the closet..............
:shifty:

Just imagine someone came here and said they are the mystery girl (it happened in this thread actually) who would believe them?
Happened? Hmmmmmmmmmm I missed that.

Interview with Cowan, the painter:10. The woman in the white dress: ‘He told me he was seeing this nurse about something and that something magic was going to happen. What was happening was she (Debbie Rowe) was carrying the babies or they were making the deal to do it, so I painted a nurse that looks like an angel.’

:wild: I never saw this detail.

And about the time of relationship of Michael and Debbie I thinked that it's since Dangerous Era because a I have a photo of them on backstage of Dangerous Tour.

Wow! I was just passing by to say: terrific, after what I read here today.

PS: Queen G your Liberian Girl analysis was so sweet. Keep up the good work! :)

EDIT: :flowers:

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we've got this far

And can you feel the love tonight,
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

This song still brings tears to my eyes whenever I listen to it.

A song of love... sad.... :(

Mis días sin ti son tan oscuros
Tan largos, tan grises
Mis días sin ti
Mis días sin ti son tan absurdos
Tan agrios, tan duros
Mis días sin ti
Mis días sin ti no tienen noches
Si alguna aparece es inútil dormir
Mis días sin ti son un derroche
Las horas no tienen principio ni fin.............

This song made me think in Michael.......

*big sigh*

.
PS: Queen G your Liberian Girl analysis was so sweet. Keep up the good work! :)
Thank you, Lully. :)

I want to post some things that Quincy Jones has said about Liberian Girl, for two reasons. One is because I found what he said interesting,

and the other reason:

The song in my mind is mj's Liberian Girl, mainly cuz u kept talking bout it!!! thanx guys!
...is because I want to make sure the song Liberian Girl NEVER leaves 8701girl's mind! Muahahahaha!

Quincy said these things while discussing the various songs off of the Bad album in a interview:

I mean - Liberian Girl, who would think of a thing like that? It's amazing...the imagination and everything else. It's just an amazing fantasy.

Well, considering these words I thought, "there we have it...it should not be a stretch now to think that MJ was very capable of writing lyrics about a love relationship that came completely out of his imagination."

But hold on, Quincy added more, and it almost seems in part to be a contradiction to his previous words:

...even if they were from an abstract base to me were always somehow autobiographical - you know - it always felt that way knowing him really well and the complications in and out of his life - you know - pros and cons, they always felt autobiographical even if it was something he was resisting - you know - it would come out in a song. And I think he is very lucky to have that, too, that ability to be a songwriter and a singer, too, to get it out. That's cathartic.

Hmm. What is he actually saying here? Is he saying MJ writes scenarios in his songs that are pulled right out of his imagination, but...his reference point for his imagination is all that he is and has experienced or observed in some way in his own life...making it somewhat (somehow) "autobiographical"?

What's your guys' take on what Quincy is communicating here?

Oh Quincy.... :shifty:

He had in mind when said these things: "Why explain, if we can complicate?" :D

That's it, in my opinion.

BUT, I'd rather have heard from the mouth of Michael the answer. -_- :coffee:

No, you wouldn't...because you LOVE the mystery!!!:tease:
 I really would love to have heard Michael answering all our doubts about the songs. :D :shifty:

Mystery, in general, is something secret, hidden, of meaning or underlying cause, a phenomenon that occurs and there is no knowledge of what causes,
something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained. Mystery comes from the Greek "mystérion", secret thing, is related to the action to shut up, the verb is mýein, close, shut, mýstes, which closes, which holds secret the started.
This is fascinating, huh? :shifty:

Lyrics: Into The Mystic by Van Morrison

We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
And the bonnie boat was one as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows I will be coming home
And when that fog horn blows I want to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
Then magnificently we will float into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home
And when thst fog horn whistle blows I got to hear it
I don't have to fear it
I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will float into the mystic
Come on girl...

I have to agree with that :)

This thread and the phyics ( sorry if the spelling is worng) channel michael thread are the best ones on mjjc! IMO

thanks so much for the welcome queen g :) i really do enjoy dissecting mj's lyrics and exploring the possible outcomes, with his lyrics a word can have a thousand different meanings.....Your synopsis on The Way You Love Me was so deep, i had to listen to the song again just to explore the full effect. I must say that when I heard the song for the first time and fell in love with it, I took it literally. I know that his body guards said that he had a couple of girlfriends. So
I took the song to mean that there was an actual woman in his life that rescued him from the turmoil in his life.
The term "dark" to me is a reference to the trials in his life that affected him emotionally. I don't think there is anything harder in life than when one is constantly being publicly ridiculed and demonized and that person's name is constantly being associated and referenced to that of a pedophile...
This song makes me smile because there is definitely an underlining tone of joy and bliss.
Something or Someone was making him smile and perhaps he did find love in the dark. I guess we'll never know....

Analogy of HIStory...Past...Present...Future~~~

"Will You Be There" is a song by Michael Jackson which was released as a single in 1993. The song was introduced in the 1991 album Dangerous and also appeared on the soundtrack to the film Free Willy, of which it is the main theme.

"Someone Put Your Hand Out" is a Pepsi-supported cassette single released in Europe to promote the Dangerous World Tour."

Released by Epic Records on October 30, 2001. The Invincible Album was the first release of new Jackson material since Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix in 1997 and the first studio album in six years since HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. Jackson, Rodney Jerkins, R. Kelly and Teddy Riley received producing and writing credits among others.

Similar to Jackson's previous material, the themes in Invincible are mainly based on Jackson's personal experiences with fame and media, romance, and social issues.

´In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. Keep hope alive. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. In a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.´Michael Jackson(2001, Oxford speech)

"Allot of people "misunderstand ME" That's because "THEY" REALLY don't "KNOW" ME At ALL...Wash away ALL the fame, fortune, prestige~~~"THOSE" things are "just "THINGS...!"

Mr.Michael Jackson 2009

"Always keep lookin' outside the box..!" Michael Jackson 2009

THIS truly is WHO and WHAT "I" (Mr.Michael Jackson), WE have "ALWAYS" been and WILL "ALWAYS" be about~~~

I agrre with you queen g too.

Maybe MJ was a prophetic that sang his own future? Or did MJ sing so well that seemed real?

Quincy said:

This will make us believe that all is just imagination and what has being discussed here in vain?

Hey, wait, Quincy said '' If they were from an abstract base''. So Quincy didn't know if they were really or abstract! But to him, Quincy, they were a little autobiographical! hahah I got you Quincy. :wild:
