Bury the Never Ending Myth of Jackson as Child Molester

More people should read it...though by the looks of some of the comments it probably wouldnt do much to shutup the haters..

A question since it's bought up in the comments of the article and i've always wondered, Did mj always say he slept on the floor while the children slept in his bed? Cause i remember an interview, and its either The mid-90's one he Does with lisa-marie or the bashir one, where he clearly says a couple of times 'i slept on the floor' , but he gets so stuck on making the point that even if he had slept in the bed with the kid it wouldn't matter, that the comment kinda gets lost. So basically i can't remember if mj has ever said he's slept with kids in his bed or only that kids have slept in his bed while he was on the floor...

yeah, i remember him saying that. But if u read 'conspiracy' a great book about the truth and what actually went on in the courtroom during the trial,i'm pretty sure macaulay culkin testified that he did share a bed with mj but nothing happened. totally innocent. ...but i could b wrong..

You know what

even if solid evidence that favors Michael was presented people would still believe all of the nonsense.

Everyone is just on the "MJ is a molestor" bandwagon, this sucks that after Michael died everything is coming out.

I knew the truth, all of his fans knew the truth.

Thanks for posting this article, Cinnamon.

Well, I've got my trusty pail and shovel, :D and I do what I can to provide facts to doubters of his innocence. When lies get repeated so often, it's not surprising that folks start to believe them.

.
:yes::yes:

Too bad most/almost all journalists don't actually research their stories anymore, huh?
Journalists: "research?! who does that anymore?! psssh!"

What do u mean ackie0o0 you could be wrong?

Everyone focuses on the settlement. But this is how I see it...

Let's assume Michael did it (I know he didn't but hear me out). The boy would be scarred for life, feel intensely ashamed of himself and probably have all kinds of emotional problems. As a loving parent, wouldn't want the person who committed the crime convicted? Wouldn't you want the person who caused harm to your child in prison? Wouldn't you want to kill that person? Someone took advantage of your child and stole his innocence.

But thats okay though. $15,000,000 will make all of that go away

Instead of focusing on the settlement as an admission of guilt, it should be focused on as an admission of extortion and false allegations.

We live in a society of guilty until proven innocent, Michael didn't get the chance to be proven innocent in 1993. Therefore, he HAD to be guilty in most people's eyes.

Well, I got into a discussion about MJ with one of my sisters (through email). She used to be a big fan of his and even went to a Victory tour concert. She told me that after Michael paid that money she stopped being a fan of his. I pointed out the facts about that settlement payment. I told her that is just one example of misinformation. I recommended that she read the "Conspiracy" book because there are a lot of facts about that trial that are never mentioned in most media outlets. I even offered to buy it for her. She said maybe someday she'll read it but she's "not really into it now". WTH? My sister is an avid reader. But she's resisting reading this book? I guess she just wants to keep believing the worst about him. Very disappointing.

Ugh, this article mentions that horrible Congressman Peter King. I was soooo angry when I saw him saying those horrible things about Michael. I never liked him before but this just took the cake. I can't believe we attended the same college, lol.

No, here is the thing. Many people are disgusted with his behavior of just sharing his bed with children; being close to them. They see it as inappropriate adult behavior.

I also question why he had to continue to allow children into his private room after that happened and it makes me wonder what he was thinking. I'm sorry, but in some way he caused his own mess and I'm not saying he could not be friendly with the children or have them sleep at Neverland. He should have been more careful about that and he wasn't.

I'm not saying he did what they say. I believe his innocence but I am also a big fan and read everything and there have been some not so nice things said about him which I do believe, but I do feel he was a human being and so under the public eye it was impossible to live a normal life for him.

I think many skim the stories that are thrown out there and depending on your own values and beliefs it can turn you 'off' to a person. I have read most of the books myself, the good and bad ones and I never thought he was guilty.

Yes I agree.

People who claim they know the system need to be ashamed
I mean come on what kind of parent would take money over justice??
Are you serious? and about the settlement, Tom Sneddon wanted Michael's ass in jail, people were trying to get the wrong words out of his mouth so they could attack him at any moment, people have to realize that sometimes innocent people go to jail which is apart of the reason they had to resolve the case.

I used to feel that way, I used to say "he continued to sleep in bed with children so he caused his own mess" but I never thought he was guilty and I never thought he would hurt a child.

Today, I understand why Michael continued to allow children into his bed, it's because Michael doesnt think like the rest of society, people only say "It's inappropriate" because society says it is but society is not always right.

Good article, thanks. Unfortunately it is too late for Michael. And I ask myself again and again: Where were all these people and defenders, when Michael was still alive???

Yeah, either he was naive and thought a) nothing would happen and b) people would understand him, or he was being stubborn as fuck and refused to let 93/the media/society in general tell him what to do.

Either way, i've always thought it was stupid of him to let himself get into a situation like that again, but such is life.

Michael's way of thinking is so different to that of general society that he was never going to do anything right after the 93 allegations. But what did change since then was that MJ was never alone in the room when the kids stayed over, there was always another adult present, and he slept on the floor so he did learn from 1993. What is so sad about it all is that Neverland was an escape from the harsh realities of life for both adults and children, children who suffered could forget for one day the crappiness in their lives, and Sneddon and his crew tainted it. How can anyone say that Sneddon didn't have it in for MJ. Holding a press conference and saying 'we got him' was deplorable. You cant treat someone you have just arrested as some sort of criminal. Its wrong for that to happen to anyone. And 70 police officers to raid it, disgusting. He must have been so pissed when yet again he found nothing.

Yeah i get that, i just wish other people did too, instead of calling him wierd n shit. And i feel sad everytime i look at a picture of neverland cause of what the police did to it and cause he never went back. Theres a picture of mj in like a store room or something, and he's surrounded by ..idk stuff like toys and gifts and belts from his tours and stuff, and it makes me sad everytime i see it.

That about Mj never being alone with the children in his room, does that come up in the court transcripts and stuff? I've read conspiracy, well rushed through it, and i cant remember it being mentioned. Stuff like this just makes me wonder how the 05 case ever got into court, and yes sneddon is a dickwad.

I just saw that asshole on the news a couple of weeks ago talking about the aborted terrorist attack on a plane. He disgusts me.

And there are really ardent haters who probably don't give a crap if he's innoncent as long as they have someone to talk shit about hence why they are so hard to convince otherwise. Also the one who know he's innocent but will not admit it and will joke about him.

In the DCFS memo, it says that he was never alone with any Arvizo child.

What people fail to realize is that Gavin and his brother only slept in MJ's room in 2000. Not in 2003, during the allegations. And when they did Frank Cascio was there. He and MJ slept on the floor. Gavin even admits this during the Bashir interview and during the trial that after 2000 he and Star would always sleep in the guest units. You know the Robsons, Culkins, and Barnes never even testified that they continued the sleepovers with him as children after 1993. I really believe that the sleepovers were a thing of the past.

Britt Barnes slept in mj's bed with mj even when he became 19 years old , Mac also jumped on bed and watched tv with mj in 2001 or 2002 . they testified to that under oath . don't forget Frank and Omar . and for those who say mj only allowed boys he allowe girls two , his cousin Simone slept in his bed also she was 16 at the time , ofcourse sneddon and zonan downplayed that testimony

It contradict what sneddon and zonan tried to say that mj allowed only 12-13 years old boys in his bed and abandoned them once they got older .

MJ did not think much of it , he used to sleep in the same bedroom with other five boys , his brothers all the time , and thought it was ok .

as for he was never alone with the arvizos , very true Frank slept with them and mj all the time and that's why Star accused Frank of threatening him with a gun BEFORE THE MOLESTATION  and that's why according to Star the molestation incidents he observed ( they were two first and on the stand they became three out of the FOUR incidents ) occurred afternoon .

I wish he had been more careful the second time around although I understand that he was never left alone with children after the first accusations. I believe I read that there was always an adult with him when kids stayed over. Still, he should have done more to protect himself (and his home!) from people who will do anything for money.

And then to have kids running amok in my home and property with little supervision? According to the trial information from that "Conspiracy" book those Arvizo kids were out of control. I just wouldn't stand for that. I don't have the patience for bratty kids. And parents who can't manage them.

They always seemed to run amok acording to testimonies whenever MJ was out of town like the infamous time the Arvizo's were caught stealing booze from MJ's private cellar.

they were threatened by Frank with a gun , mj threatened them he was going to send them to Brazil in a hot air balloon , MJ held them hostages in a 4 stars resort with full access to everything , they escaped in a rolls Royce in the middle of the night THREE times and CAME BACK everytime. that;s how they expalined it

Yeah, its pretty scary how that all went down.

Yes, but that Gavin kid was apparently also being a brat on the plane with MJ sitting right next to him. I've always said, Michael has the patience of a saint. I couldn't do it, lol.
