What does this mean? "Another brand is up there in the chorus catchy!" What is "brand"?
Also what part of WDAN are they refering to in this? "at various times, the song seems to reference the version of "Working Day And Night" sung live on the Dangerous Tour (to the extent that MJ is spinning on stage)." Does that mean sampling or what?
I guess she meant something similar to the part at 2:52?
Aren't all the charts from Monday to Sunday? I would release the album Monday 00:01. I don't understand why is it Tuesday in US when Billboard counts from Monday to Sunday. Or not?
:bugeyed:bugeyed:bugeyed"Xscape" starts with MJ saying "Darkchild" (producer Rodney Jerkins nickname)

I believe there is too much risk to compare those leaks with the contemporized versions to place them on the cd.
If you listened to You Rock My World - there is same thing in the beginning. So that's ok i guess:bugeyed:bugeyed:bugeyed
Was that really necassary?

That's how Xscape TV ads should be:

IT'S AMAZING! :wild::wild::wild::wild::wild::wild::wild::wild::wild::wild:

Qbee said she preferred the 2008 mix of APWNN to the contemporized mix but, she may prefer the contemporized mix after a few more listens. Rogue radio DJs might compare the Xscape 2002 mix to the contemporized mix for example. If enough listeners prefer the original mixes, it will be a negative for this release. To prevent that, I believe those mixes will not be on the cd and we will hear a more basic version.
I am very interested in how this will be handled. I will be listening to the originals first on the deluxe.
Serendipity, Billboard is not the only respected chart. Beyonce, a SONY artist by the way, did quite well releasing worldwide with Itunes.
I feel like asking a question. :naughty:
Originals are great but they will sound dated or unfinished to them.
Blue Gangsteeeeer! can't take this anymore, imma go to sleep and wake up in 9 days see ya.
Get over it dude, you're like a kid that can't get his way. You are the only person that constantly complains and cries about ONE song because it's not what you want.I hate how he had to say: "Thriller era vocal ... Classic MJ".
It is the only reason why they are releasing it. It hurts so bad to see how his later work (better, the best work he did) is constantly ignored on purpose. Classic MJ should be Dangerous and HIStory, that is classic MJ. I understand how frustrating that was to Michael.
The curse of Thriller continues..

From what we could gather thus far it seems like several tracks will sound quite different, at least production wise. To what extent they actually altered hooks and melodies remains to be seen. I wonder to which degree the original versions that will be released differ from the leaks that we have heard (e.g., we know the leaked version of DYKWYCA was worked on posthumously, so we should get a different version now).I wonder how much different tracks like DYKWYCA and Blue Gangsta sound compared to the ones that leaked. For example...will we still hear the guitars in DYKWYCA?

Also, if the attention and recognition that Thriller still receives till this day makes you frustrated then you might as well get use to it cause that will never change.
How are so many of you so arrogant in assuming your opinion is the only valid one and that anything else is unacceptable?
if I sat and farted into a microphone and then sang about starving children over it would that instantly make it better than a song about something "light" or "shallow" as you say?
There isn't only 1 factor in what makes a song good, and everyone has different opinions on what it is that they find artistically and sonically satisfying.
