these are wonderful, but i do have to admit that i think the vogue photo shoot shows michael in the best light out of all the sessions during his last 10 years. I think it could work with the manor of the album also, like.. ''Gangsta!!!!!'' you know? i think would be awesome

Good choices. I think there is a good chance there could be no picture. Black cover and says Michael Jackson or King of Pop in the bottom right corner.

This whole thing makes me nervous to be honest. Don't get me wrong. I want to hear new music. I think there is too much pressure and expectation all the time. Not matter what project comes along. I just hope for the best and this bring happiness to everyone.

i think to ease the pressure on the estate they should do this album half & half. twelve tracks, 6 previously leaked for example - Xscape, Blue Gangsta, maybe I (Was The) Loser? now that people know that song mostly. and 6 never heard in full tracks - A place with no name, can't get your weight off me. split it evenly, to avoid disappointment and possible boycotting. just my opinion of course.

I was a looser and Xscape are weak. Xscape vocals s great instruments music and beat would need to be totally reworked in opinion. Whatever they do they have to go all out, put out the best remaining tracks. This is it last chance. They better bring it.

you're forgetting to realise that there are still song's owned by Red One, Theron Theemster & Will.I.Am that could be great tracks. i understand why they don't wanna be cash-ins.. but those have the best chance for success imo.

Just for fun I decided to do a few possible album covers ("quick" versions, not perfect):

-I did multiple versions with a pic by Arno Bani which has a kinda sci-fi feel to it :). However, I altered the colors and removed the background in most versions because I thought there is too much going on for an album cover. The main difference in the versions is the text layout (MJ, album name)

-I also did two versions with a pic from Vogue.

-And I did one with a pic from yrmw (with altered colors).

-The song titles I chose were: place with no name, blue gangsta, escape, from the bottom of my heart.

I agree. But the version we know is (as far as I know) not the finished version. The last version is from 2003 or possibly afterwards. Some minor "tweaking" would be ok I guess.

I love pretty much all of them, but the 2nd and 5th are my favs. I love that pic (probably the only one I really love from the Arno Bani shoot). Good job!

I also think it's one of the only good pictures from the Arno Bani shoot (apart from maybe "blue eye" and a few alternate poses from the pic I used. Unfortunately, these are not available in better quality. There is one with a slight "side view" that could be even better imo

Just RedOne and will.i.am. Neff-U submitted his work with MJ to the Estate back in 2010.

and Red One confirmed that he wants to release his work with Michael from 2008 when it's the right time. what about those hard drives from carolwood? with his final demo's & voice recording's? i heard the family has it right?

hopefully :/

concerning the album cover:

they MUST do it differently this time.
the photo which damien used, would fit so well (i love it). it shows MJ in his recent years and full of energy, like he would be singing in that photo and smashing a killer song with his FULL VOICE.
any other recent photo would be cool too, most important for me would be:
nothing older than 1998 please...preferable 2005-2009

the estate will surely come to there senses and use a photo from the vogue sessions, it simply shows Michael in his most beautiful light :* and with them having every scan of every photo.. they can use the original version that ain't black & white! just in my opinion also, Blue Gangsta slays any unreleased song out there :D

currently uploading the photo's from the vogue shoots that i think could work best for the cover, one of them is only for girls so i decided not to upload that one o_O :p

Edit: These are the photo's i think they should consider when deciding the style of the album cover. this is an important factor, as well as the song's. so it needs to be done with L.O.V.E as Michael would do it :) ----> http://imageshack.us/g/1/10378599/

I don't know if those photos exist in color. Bruce Weber is famous for his black & white photos. I don't know what technique he uses but I'd assume he works on black & white film. It wouldn't make much sense to me if he did color photos which then would be turned into black & white.
