In Michael's Ebony photo shoot his clothing are more high couture, I'd prefer the L'Uomo Vogue photo shoot, he look elegant but more urban.

I don't think they should do a stance. Most of his stances were used for the Number Ones and King of Pop album artworks. Maybe they could even use an outtake from a recent photoshoot that few have seen ? I wonder what they'll come up with (hell it might even be a new painting or design or something)

It must be a lot harder to do artwork for a posthumous album though, especially without the artist there, however I personally liked the Michael painting, hell I believe Michael commissioned it himself (though it was finished after his death; got a poster of it actually - looks WONDERFUL ).

The packaging for that CD was terrible though. They just put the painting on it and wrote 'Michael', it said nothing to the average person that it was a new album of unreleased materials (except for a small note on the back and a sticker - if the CD even had one). The back of the cover was poorly done too, the tracklist on a plain blue background. No images ? Not even one of him working in the studio on one of those tracks ? BOOORRRRIINNNGGG.

Hopefully the packaging for this upcoming album is really good, they certainly improved on Immortal and Bad 25 so I can't wait to see what they'll come up with ! I really hope they go all out this time round and give Michael Jackson the treatment he deserves !!!

It must be a lot harder to do artwork for a posthumous album though, especially without the artist there, however I personally liked the Michael painting, hell I believe Michael commissioned it himself (though it was finished after his death; got a poster of it actually - looks WONDERFUL ).

The Michael album cover looks horrible IMO. Looks cheap and cheapens Michael too. Hopefully the new album's cover will be done in a lot better taste.

I dont think they should use a picture for the album cover. i mean really, after Bad, Michael stopped using photo shoot photos for album covers. Dangerous had a beautiful intricate album art, HIStory had the statue, Invincible was MJ's face, but still not a regular photo. I think it would be cool if they got Brett Livingston Strong to do something, as he was Michael's longtime art teacher and friend. just my thoughts though.

To be honest, I don't think BLS is a very good painter. So I hope not. David Nordahl is a lot better.

Hey each to his own I just thought that it looked cool (to me, the only person who looks off in the painting is Paris), especially how it summed up a lot of MJ's career into one painting, that's all ! ^_^

I think Michael's suits were a lot more suave at the Ebony PhotoShoots. Especually in the one I posted, that's just my opinion of course. But it does look professional.

I prefer the L'Uomo Vogue photos to the Ebony ones. Michael looks more natural on them. Also the Ebony ones look photoshopped to me at times.

It's like I'm the only one who didn't hate the Michael cover. It wasn't the worst but I do enjoy it. It's a bit crowded, though, so that aspect I understand. But it's no more crowded than the Dangerous cover, and everyone seems to love that one.

I don't really care what the album cover looks like. Just NO photos from the 1999 blue eye shoot. I'm sorry, but that one is just spine-tingling bad.

It's not just about how crowded a cover is. The Dangerous cover is artistically interesting, very well executed - it's quality work. You can tell the artist had talent. The Michael album cover is like a cheap, tacky and talentless imitation of it.

And although an album cover is not the most important thing, but it projects a kind of image. If it looks cheap and tacky people will think the album is tacky and cheap as well (in a bad way) - although in the case of the Michael album that was about fitting because the production work on it was just as sloppy as the cover.

It really should be from the Vogue photo shoot. We are getting a documentary from these photo shoots as well this winter, which will probably be aired in both US and EU. Great for promotion - and to finish that off, they should simply use one of the best pictures from one of the photo shoots (preferably vogue, as he looks more natural here and raw) for the new album. Fits perfectly - I think it's safe to say most of the songs will be from Vince era and the later years.

I'm going to be pissed if they will be screwing up a simple thing as a good album cover. Don't they dare be "ashamed" of how Michael looked like in the recent years. He looks amazing in the Vogue photo shoot. I don't need to post all the pictures to justify this.

I don't know if re-worked means re-recorded. I hope he re-recorded it but maybe he didn't.

Of course. I'm So Blue and Song Groove were great surprise. We knew about Price Of Fame before Bad25.

I think it should be post-Invincible photo because it is a new album. If it is an older picture or MJ silhouette it will be labeled as a compilation album.

there had been rumours that 'chicago 1945' didn't even exist, but i kept hope alive. i think there may be some song's on this record that we've never heard the title's of. I think re-worked does mean re-recorded, as Michael recorded 'for all time' during the thriller sessions, and the dangerous sessions. we got the one from dangerous, so anything is possible. Would be nice to have both in the future though.

^^ Chicago 1945 was recorded twice around 1984 with Steve Porcaro. It exists.

There's a pretty good chance that there will be at least one title we've never heard of on the album. There are dozens of songs that the estate hasn't yet registered, like DYKWYCA and A Place with No Name, and there could be dozens more that haven't been spoken of yet.
