And we don't know if it's going on the new album. The ONLY songs that are set in stone to be released are A Place with No Name and Blue Gangsta. Songs like She Was Loving Me, Slave to the Rhythm, DYKWYCA and others are rumors from fans. The track listing is not even close to completed, so any song that we know of (even Chicago) may not appear.

If you trust what Dr. Freeze said who is not involved in the production of the album, why you don't trust Timbaland who is involved?

I'm pretty sure Chicago will be on the album. That one is in my opinion only confirmed song.

It's pretty safe to assume that if Chicago gets released as a lead single it will eventually end up on the record.

Because Freeze is involved. He received confirmation from the estate executors that his two songs would appear on the album. Timbaland, meanwhile, was not given any confirmation. He simply said, "I want Chicago to be released." He never promised that it would be.

Now when i think about it you do have a point. The estate has the final say on which songs gets accepted and omitted, But think about it, they wouldn't go through the trouble to get one of the finest producers of today to later omitt his work. Just give as a good MJ album, thats all i want

I am pretty sure that there will be some kind of release for xmas. IMO i must add, as i believe what the estate may do is release singles off the album which have been finished in the run upto the final release, i hope this takes the form of the mercury/jackson duets which are being finished with b vocals of Queen plus extra instrumentation. I for one would welcome this.

It would be awesome if the estate did put out a Chritsmas song Michael done way back or even one of the Charity songs he wrked so hard with many other artists and never came to fruitation because of stupid red tape.

I look with excitement and wonder of what will come now, it kind of does remind me how Michael went completley silent and to ground before he would announce anything. Maybe the esatate feel his presence and hopefully this and of course the people that Michael loved so much , US ! The fans will and are influencing the decisions of Michaels Legacy from te estate.

I dont post as much as i did one time but find it so hard now after losing my biggest inspiration ! I cannot wait for any new release and look forward to the next project.

I found a quote about Chicago 1945 but it only says that it was worked on twice (not including the years)

hope we get the final version released on this new album, then possibly the early demo on some sort of demo's album? i think would work. would be great to hear the final origin of 'Smooth Criminal'...

I think they are doing the right thing releasing a project as big as this next year. I think there has just been too much negative publicity this year and too many things going on. In a way I think MJ has been over exposed and the estate should wait until things quieten down a bit before they release another big project. I do however think they should release something this year, not anything as big as a new album but im sure there is plenty of things they could do. Perhaps the Vision set on blu ray? thriller/ghosts dvd/blu ray? victory tour dvd/blu ray??

Honestly, my guess is that this year we'll probably get an EP or something with Michael and Freddie's duets (thus fulfilling Sony's project for this year). Something just big enough to keep the fans and general public going, perhaps even ramping up excitement, then next year they'll go all out and release their biggest posthumous project to death: The second album of unreleased Michael Jackson material

Well, at least that's what I hope happens hehe ^_^

I just hope that they won't use a picture from the Thriller era like they did with the Michael album. That was dumb and disrespectful. It was like they were embarrassed of the way Michael looked after the Thriller era

I feel like all or most duets should be saved for a duet album using songs that are not complete enough to make full songs on there own.. lets say MJ recorded a verse or two and chorus, and they have an artist do another verse and weave them together to make a full song..

As far as the 'bad' press about MJ and timing an album release accordingly to be honest I really don't think it makes that big of a difference.. No one really is obsessed about MJ negitive news the same way after he passed. Even if you look at rating reports MJ news does not get the same viewers in used to. You view reviews and they are usually positive now, it has really changed.. In fact for other artist bad press has helped there albums sell.. You know a big reason why Mileys music has been getting attention is her antics!!

This of course (in my view) depends on how much attention and the type of attention Wade gets, but considering the trial is far out I think we are good. And Im not seeing anyone really taking it seriously!

fact, she's only got a bottomless bucket down there back to all seriousness though, i am so ready for this new album!!!!!!!! i know im gonna love it already, and the news we have up to now just makes me go crazy. 'she was loving me' sounds like a masterpiece, how cool would it be to hear that? all the work michael and corey put into it, that and 'a place with no name' maybe some other's too. space dance is real right?

I agree that Miley's music has got 'more' attention because of her antics. But Wrecking Ball is a strong pop single, I'd say. And I've always kinda liked her voice. Don't know if she can do it live or anything but I like the sound of it on record.

I'm not a fan of any of them that's for sure. I was just saying they do have talent. I love me some MJ but aside from him I'm into rock music. Hard,classic and the modern rock. MJ is and always has been my favorite. Some of my friends are like wow. I like rock music and such and then there's MJ. Ha! I love it. Most of my friends like MJ after I exposed them to him. Especially the less popular MJ tracks. They are like wow that's a good song.

hoping for an announcement at the end of this month or early november, i wanna do a huge countdown. just hope the estate don't leave it until a month before the release, that'd be agony haha.
