It's a decent song. Michael sang with the full strength, shouted the lyrics out all the way, when singing the chorus lyrics "this is it", he became a little tender.

I don't think I'm going to buy this "album".The information that his brothers added their vocals on it is enough for me.Michael wanted complete solo album.They are just making this to get MONEY.The sad thing is that the time is passing and the new Michael Jackson songs are going to be old soon and his whole work will be for nothing.They need to make whole another project... the new album... with singles and promotion.We don't need old songs anymore.I don't care if the songs are unreleased - they are old.We need the new album now... when is still fresh!
 
If mkgenie is lying he/she should be banned from this forum. We don't need any more KOPD-type stories.
 
If this is new vocals/new song it will be his final piece in his life. This will make the song hard to listen too :(

BTW, I just realized that Michael indeed sang Earth Song of its demo version (What About Us, you know the ending is different) in the movie This Is It. Impressive.

Guys , just hold on for bit longer! The reson this song has not been leaked yet it its all being kept closely guarded. I remember the secrecy and anticipation of the first single from Dangerous! of course we came to know as Black or White, before this was played , it was brought over on jet handcuffed to a security guard! and i kid you not!

So let the anticipation grow even more and enjoy the lead up to the most wanted new material EVER!

Our Michael will never die really!!

I agree with you Terry, it's only 2 weeks to wait now. :timer:

BUT

On the other hand, I just need to know some details!

I need to know if the song is really new vocals.
I need to know if the song can be a hit.


I'm a bit disappointed that it's a mid-tempo ballad, but I suspected it would be when I heard it had orchestration but I hope it's better than 'We've Had Enough'. That song would never have done well in charts and would not have been supported by radio. Mike's voice had too much vibrato and the phrasing got very annoying to listen to.

I hope this new song will be supported by radio. Given the information we already have it seems as though that will be difficult because radio didn't really support Mike at all in this decade and late 90s. A Mid-tempo song will probably get less support than a upbeat dance track.
I hope the public get a chance to hear (and buy) this song and make it Number 1!

How did you find out that MJ sang the Earth Song demo version in the movie? I don't think it has been completed yet - Kenny said on his twitter only a few days ago they were still working on it.

The first movie draft is out. They are still working on it.

I cant say more.

Out for review by movie critics?

when is the final edit going to be complete? They don't have long to get the film age ratings classified!

I heard the movie will be completed in mid-October, like October 18 or so.
