wow, after this is it i thought i'd never see mj on a big screen again. This is soooo awesome!!!
and i'm glad its not part of the bad25 pack. This way it feels like there's more to be excited about! Whoever thought of doing this doco is genius!

No they're talking about the Paul Simon album called 'Graceland'. It's truely a classic and a 25th anniversary package was recently released with a documentary included. If you have never heard it then i'd recommend you give it a listen, but as with all albums that are 25 years old it might not seem as good to new ears as those that first listened to it when it was new. It's just because music styles change and that difference becomes more obvious as time goes on. I know the album so it's probably less obvious to me.

I've see a few, including Ian Halperin, the one they showed in E channel(can't remember the name), and few others, but I wouldn't even call them documentaries. Mockumentary is proper name for those sort of tabloid inflicted programs. I meant real proper documentary of Michael's life.

Yeah if a documentary meets that definition it should be a good one. Unfortunately if you're in the UK and you see a documentary is going to be shown on Channel 4 or Channel 5. Forget it. It'll be tabloid stories, written and presented by an uneducated fool who only wants to cause a fuss. If it's going to be on ITV then maybe give it a chance with healthy scepticism as it's likely to have some agenda (they showed 'Living With Michael Jackson' and that one with Uri Geller - 'My Friend Michael Jackson' or something like that). If it's going to be on BBC 1 then it's probably as good as it's going to get but even they have been known to present very biased and sometimes ill-informed documentaries.
My point was most Michael Jackson 'documentaries' are crap. The Spike Lee one should be amazing and I hope a big channel like ITV or BBC shows it (in the UK of course). I assume that if it's too 'glowing' about MJ then TV critics will write it off as being overly biased in Mike's favour. IMO it's about time some channel showed something pro MJ though so I'm not bothered.

Yes, MJ deserves a proper documentary about him! Not like most of the tabloid junk you see on TV about him under the disguise of a "documentary"! About which I can only hope that as few people will watch them as possible and about which I have to explain to my family and friends that "No, it's not true. No, that claim has been debunked a million times. No, that person has never even met MJ. No, he's a liar and a known arch enemy of MJ, not an 'MJ expert'" and so on and so forth.

I'm truly excited at the prospect that finally this documentary will be something I can recommend to other people to watch!

you capture the pic. I have a snipping tool that you just select the outline of what you want to capture click it and it captures the pic. then you save in .jpg

I know how to take a pic and crop it. But Memefan's post isn't a pic. It's something to do with java. U can actually click all buttons and stuff.

I am glad it's not part of the bad 25 release Sept 18. I think this should stand on it's own. I am sure it does. All these tweets are making me wanting to see it now lol.

I'm going to be seriously pissed off if this doesn't air on one of the major channels. For years and years the major networks have ran docs about The Beatles and Elvis, so seeing them pass on this would be seriously messed up. Especially when no artist or act has pulled in better ratings than MJ.

You need to go on twitter.com (website) and click on the tweet you want to copy. A menu should expand..you click on DETAILS....it will take you to the full tweet...click on EMBED THIS TWEET and then you copy the HTML ..and paste.

The out-spoken director also presented clips of his latest project, a Michael Jackson documentary to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the late pop icon&#8217;s Bad album. In an interview with Billboard.com,Lee shared that the documentary will include footage that MJ shot himself and other never before seen behind-the-scenes material.

VH1 famous crime scenes isn't a documentary, it's just an episode where they "investigated" Michael's death, it was ridiculous.
