Erin is saying that the prosecution rested and the defense is going to present their witnesses now. I didn't expect that.

I guess they think they are presented enough evidence to present their case.

so if the defense will not present any witnesses (I remember they didn't want to have any witnesses at the prelim, I read it somewhere), does it mean that the judge can rule today??

edit: I misunderstood, apparently they have more witnesses but they didn't present them all and decided that's enough.

edit2: Erin is saying the general mood in the courtroom that the charges should be up to murder 2 and there are two option, either dismiss the case and refile it as murder 2, or the judge can increase the charge to murder two. And if there are no defense witnesses theres' a possibility the judge will make a decision today

Also: remember Murray called a patient of his at 11:26.
So it highly unlikely he called his GF at 10:30 and MJ died then, why would he call to check up on a patient. Makes no sense,

The phonerecord also shows he called her at 11:51, so that proves he called at that time.

The only real question is at what time he injected MJ with propofol.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why it is weird ... Also, if she just got it wrong, then I find it a bit strange that it seems to fit the 10.40 timeline. Not sure if that's a coincidence?

1st witness: Bridget Morgan - Met Murray in a club in Vegas in 2003. Personal relationsip. She was dismissed after that.

Nicole Alverez - lost her memory apparently at 29. She was a stripper... when she began a relationship with Murray? Couldn't remember. Around 2008? Possibly... (cant remember.) Murray lived with you through March April May and June of 09? Yes.

Lots of q's she couldn't recall... She couldn't recall when or how they exchanged numbers, or calls cuz they were on a "need to know basis...?" Asked did she pay her rent? Yes but she doesnt knows how much. Baby born in March and Murray stayed more after that...

She didnt know murray worked for MJ! (HAHAHA) - "need to know basis again." She DID find out Murray work at sometime but didn't know in what line (HES A FREKING DOCTOR) and didn't know he was in MJ's house. She asked to repeat lots of times... Judge gave out to her for this and she started answering quicker...

She never asked when Murray was coming or going... She signed for things from Allied Pharmacy from Vegas when he was away but says she never knew what was in the packages... They asked was this her signature in certain exhibits and she kept saying PERHAPS and she wasn't sure?! She was very arrogant and snippety. "I can't recall" she said for almost all questions... acted very dramatic... Shes finished now.

State rested has now RESTED. Defense chance to call witnesses.

There a massive buzz according to Erin with Lawyers reviewing case - There is Implied Malice which is EXPLICITLY FOR THE CHARGE OF SECOND DEGREE MURDER. Why DA went to prelim instead of grand jury. According to buzz, this should have been ended by now, reviewed by the D.A. and brought straight to trail. The charges can be upped pretty easily apparently and they can even dismiss and refile to give more time for the new charges...

porblem is theres no phone records of it taking place. and everythng shes said goes with the 11.51 call including the 2 txt messages she sent when he hung up which were at 12.03 and 04 approx

That's not a problem at all, and that won't at all cause any damage to her credibility. She probably was asked to give an estimated time of that call and she did and as in the 2005 case, a lawyer would tell her will it refresh your memory to see when exactly the call was made and she would have said yes and confirmed what was the exact timing of her call.

This is a none issue. The investigator already said yesterday based on his phone records they called the people on the other side and got their IDs and asked them what exactly took place in those conversations they held with Murray.

She is asked to testify because of that one call from Murray.

u are saying the pros are reviewing the case with the judge and the reason ppl think it went to a prelim instead of a grand jury is cause they wanted the judge to up the charges. and if they took it to a GJ there was a chance the jury wouldnt got for murder 2? or are u saying the media are saying it should have gone straight to a GJ as murder 2
