Preliminary Hearing 10/1/11. Day Five. Discussion Thread

Was it at that point where dr M said he had been looking at his watch? Correct.

HAHAHA murray said he looked at his watch

i thought he no claimed he had none

why the senior coroner employee did not mention the levels of propofol ? would they leave that to the expert?

Did he explain why he didn’t move MJ to the floor?

He said he could not move him to the floor by himself.

6 ft 5” 22o pounds

How much did jackson weigh?

obj sustained.

Oh my god

and this:

did he ever say he made phone calls during the care of MJ /No he did not
did he ever say he sent and received text messages while caring for MJ?
No he did not

Quote:

Wonder how the conspiracy theorists will explain that one.

So Murray has been MJ's MD since he came back from overseas? I can't believe this incompetent SOB got to be MJ's doctor. Surreal.

No, that's not what that means. That is what Murray told the insurance company. It MEANS Murray lied again, because clearly he was not Michael's ONLY doctor for three years.

Today we learn that Murry told lies not only to the police, but to the pharmacy and insurance carrier as well. What next?

I would assume he lies to his girlfriends, his wife, and the IRS? And anyone else he encounters?

So much for not having a watch. Or a phone? How does this man even function, at ALL? Are we SURE his medical degree is not a forgery? Really?

wow i have to say this.. in that testimony it seems like michael was up all night *12 min sleep* and gave michael prop at 10.40.

whats strange is if michael was awake would he allowe murray to make all those phone calles?

plz comment on this

This testimony its a huge deal if you compare it to what we know from the other testimonys

he had a watch? he thought he could not put michael on the floor? its so strange :S

We don't know if those calls were made from Michael's room, a hallway, or where they were made.

But he has eaten. Chase said when he saw on 25th he hasn't eaten his dinner she found it strange.

But Murray was saying he was giving this to MJ for 6 weeks. If Murray was giving this to MJ every night for 6 weeks, and MJ had not eaten those nights, then it would not stick out and seem unusual to Kai that MJ had not eaten that night.
I'm a few pages behind, but I remembered this pic the other day when Kai Chase mentioned that the food she'd left the night of the 24th hadn't been touched. Perhaps Michael had dinner while at Staples instead? We don't know what time this pic was taken exactly or if he actually ate anything, of course, but anyway ... possibilities:

Trials & Tribulations:
'Dr. Murray told you MJ often asked if he could push in the propofol himself.

Dr M told you that MJ told Dr. J that he wanted to push the medication in himself. but Dr. M told you that he wouldnt’ let MJ do that.'

The defense are definitely going hard for the angle that Michael self-administered the propofol and killed himself

Someone mentioned the date of June 25th as being strange or maybe just wondering why the 25th. When there was a lot of talk about the AEG contract, the contract with Murray, etc., I seem to remember something about Michael was to sign a contract or something with Sony on June 26th? Does anyone remember anything about this?
If not, my mind is probably just tired.

Strange. That sounds like hearsay, which is not admissible in court. Wonder if that's any sort of accurate quote? It's not admissible to testify to what someone said someone ELSE said, is it? I think only Murray can answer that question, and it's doubtful that he will take the stand. Isn't it?

Trials and Tribulations website daily draft update.

Orlando Martinez

- Martinez is LA Robbery Homicide detective with 16 years experience. He investigates deaths.

- Martinez interviews Murray on June 27th.

- Murray says he first met MJ in 2006 through a patient's son and later treated MJ and his kids for flu in Las Vegas.

- Murray tells the detectives that he received a call from Michael Amir Williams saying that MJ wanted him as his doctor for the tour.

- Murray tells the detectives for a little over 2 months he has been treating MJ, assisting him to sleep six nights a week. Murray said he would assist MJ with 50 milligrams of propofol (maximum). An injection to get him to sleep and with an IV drip to keep him under.

- Murray says that he felt that MJ had developed a dependency on the propofol. So he decided to try to wean him off, and introduce other agents. Last 3 days Murray says He lowered the amount of propofol and administered the other two drugs -lorazapam and the midazalam.

- What happened after MJ came home from rehearsal : MJ arrived upstairs to the room, they had a brief discussion as to what went on that night and that MJ had a shower and changed. Murray rubbed some skin lotion on MJ back for a dermological condition

- Murray says IV was either on MJ's right or left leg below the knee.

- Murray's timeline
1AM : 10 mg valium orally. 2 mil lorazapam diluted with saline pushed slowly
2AM : 2 mil lorazapam with saline pushed slowly 2 to 3 minutes.Done with a syringe using the IV port
3AM : 2 mg of diazopam same method
3:20AM : MJ fells asleep for 10-12 minutes then wakes up.
Murray says he turned down the lights turned on the music, and suggested that MJ to meditate. MJ says he has to cancel the rehearsal / shows because he couldn't sleep.
Murray gives more Mirazapam - no effect
5AM : 2 miligrams of lorazapam - no effect. MJ complains about cancellations.
7:30AM : MJ still up, complains about the pressure on him for cancelling rehearsals. Murray gives another 2 milligrams of diazopam.- no effect
10AM: MJ asks for his milk.
10:20-10:40 : Murray gives propofol. 25 mg over some time.
11AM : MJ falls asleep. Murray watches MJ for a while when he feels comfortable with MJ's situation he goes to the bathroom for 2 minutes.
He comes back after 2 minutes and stunned to see that MJ wasn’t breathing, because he always looked at his chest and his diaphramatic motion.
Murray starts chest compressions. - one hand under supporting MJ's back and the other hand on top of his chest. He says he also did mouth to mouth.
Murray says he couldn't get MJ to the floor on his own.
Murray says he was caring for MJ and didn't want to interrupt it and that's why he didn't call 911.
Murray injected MJ with tomazapil. .2 mil

- During this process he called Michael Amir Williams - while holding the cell phone one hand, giving chest compressions with other. Murray also left the room to the landing to call out to Kai Chase for help.

- Murray doesn't tell the detectives that he was making phone calls and sending text messages when he was supposed to care for MJ. Murray only mentions the call he made to Michael Amir Williams.

-Chernoff on cross: "Murray told you that MJ told Dr that he wanted to push the medication in himself but Murray told you that he wouldnt’ let MJ do that." - Yes

Murray to Cops: Michael Begged Me For Propofol

In some of the most dramatic testimony to date, an LAPD detective testified Dr. Conrad Murray told him Michael Jackson "begged" him for Propofol shortly before he died.

LAPD Robbery Homicide Detective Orlando Martinez testified about an interview he conducted with Dr. Murray two days after MJ died. Martinez said Murray told him the night before Jackson died he was having trouble sleeping. Murray said he was trying to ween Jackson off of Propofol -- a drug he was giving MJ almost every night for two months.

Murray told Martinez he was giving Jackson a variety of other drugs, beginning sometime after 1AM, to no avail. Jackson then said if he didn't get to sleep he would cancel rehearsal.

Murray said he was feeling "pressure" from MJ to give him something to help him sleep, and Jackson was begging for Propofol. Murray claims he gave him a reduced dose, with Michael's help. As TMZ has reported many times before, Murray said MJ like to "push in the Propofol himself and that other doctors let him do it."

Murray went to the bathroom for 2 minutes, came back and claims he saw MJ wasn't breathing.

Sorry, but this I would not believe. it is like me going to do a blood test and asking the tech to let me pull to draw out the blood. Further, Murray has to testify to this, and who believes what murry says now?

also if you compare that timeline from ivys post *thank you ivy, love to you* with the timeline of the phone calles? what do we have then?

can someone do that?

Well, during the trial they will get the Dr. from Ireland and others who will show Michael did not push in propofol. Then, they will show that Michael could not self-inject. This case needs to go trial for cross examination and expert witnesses testimony, because the defense is becoming totally out of their minds.

thequote is confusing. whos dr J or do they mean murray. its not hearsay i dont think cause murray claims mj told him. all the pros will do is get thesedrs on the stand to say its B.S i never let mj do it or never gave him diprivan but of course i doubt murray will give any names

Sorry, but this I would not believe. it is like me going to do a blood test and asking the tech to let me pull to draw out the blood. Further, Murray has to testify to this, and who believes what murry says now?
exactly is sounds crazy. mj wasnt a 10 year old who like playing drs and nurses. if he had used it so much in the past it was hardly a novelty to him. prob is theres no one to defend mj and murray can say what he likes

Defense can't say MJ killed himself then at the same time asking other witness if they were ever upstairs and touched anything in the room! That don't make sense and how they gonna expect a jury to buy in to that!?
