She already finished her cross examination ?
Karen Faye said MJ asked her to be on the "This is It" tour and she said yes.
(ABC7) Jackson attorney Panish asks who Faye negotiated with. She says AEG executive Paul Gongaware negotiated her rate to work on tour.
(AP) Gongaware signed Karen Faye’s contract, which was finalized in May 2009.

I am finding out through personal experience that business can be brutal. The hospital where I work are monitoring our productivity, cutting peoples hours and offering buy outs for early retirement. We are all terrified that if enough people don't take early retirement they are going to start laying people off.
There have been so many complaints in the unit I work in that the CEO came around to see what is going on. We asked for more space ...NO. We asked for new heart monitors because they are old...NO he says we cant afford them. But they can afford the new 9 story multi million dollar building and parking tower that is going up.
What I am trying to say the bottom line for business is making money and Michael Jackson knew this. I now realize it
I am broken out with hives all the time and I can't sleep anymore. I cry everyday. I wonder what would happen if take the hospital to court for what they are doing to my mental and physical health?
I have said this before but I don't think the Jackson's and AEG are any different. His family pushed a little boy to sing in strip clubs when he should have been at home doing homework and playing with friends. Or Joseph making fun of a young Michael when he was afraid to fly. The flight attendant comforted him. Michael throwing up at the sight of Joseph. Michael with huge financial worries of his own but Hayvenhurst, Mother and all the neices and nephews have to be taken care of by Michael Jackson...I could go on and on. You guys know all the wounds:no:
What I am trying to say is both the Jacksons and AEG are responsible for seeing Michael as their golden ticket and not the sensative human being that he was. If Michael didn't do TII then the family wanted him to tour with them. I wonder if Janet and the brothers would have cancelled their tour if Michael was having the same symptoms? hmmmm...
I think you guys know what I am trying to say. I am so sorry for rambling.
I can't stand either side in this case but what I really don't want to happen is for the Jackson's to get a lot of money from the blood, sweat, tears and misery of Michael Jackson.
Rant over. I hope you all have a weekend filled with love:wub:
We didn't deserve you Michael.

Jackson so thin 'I could see Michael's heartbeat,' costumer said - latimes.com
The costume designer who worked with Michael Jackson was alarmed by the music legend’s frail figure during his last days, a makeup artist testified Friday.
Michael Bush -- who created much of the singer’s wardrobe for 25 years and wrote a book about the experience -- appeared upset after he finished up a June 2009 fitting inside Jackson’s bathroom at Staples Center, Karen Faye said.
“He said 'Oh my god, Turkle. I could see Michael’s heartbeat through the skin in his chest,'” Faye recounted.
Turkle was Jackson’s nickname for Faye, who worked as his makeup artist off and on for nearly three decades.

Faye, in her second day on the stand, was emotional as she described the moment.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos then asked Faye about Bush's tone of voice at the time.
“It was like, 'Oh my god,'” Faye said. “He was pretty much in shock.”
Around the same time, Faye said she tried to warn Jackson’s manager, Frank DiLeo, about Jackson’s health.
“[Frank] was saying pretty much, 'I got it under control, don’t worry about it,'” Faye said.
“I said, ‘But he’s losing weight rapidly.’ … I said, ‘Why don’t you ask Michael Bush to verify taking in his pants and how much weight he’s actually losing?’”
Faye said DiLeo went to speak to Bush and she overheard the manager say, “Get him a bucket of chicken.”
“It was such a cold response,” Faye said. “I mean, it broke my heart.”
The 2-week-old civil trial pits AEG against Jackson’s mother and three children who accuse the concert promoter of negligently hiring and controlling Conrad Murray, the doctor who administered a fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol to Jackson. Murray is now serving jail time for involuntary manslaughter.
Faye, who began working with Jackson in the early 1980s and did his hair and makeup for the "Thriller" album cover, said she felt the singer “did not have enough muscle mass to do a concert” as he was prepping for his “This Is It” comeback tour.
She said Jackson realized he didn't look good in a video that was filmed to be used on giant screens during the concert series. At his request, she said, she assisted technicians retouching the singer’s image on the footage.
But the makeup artist said that although she was asked, she did not help retouch the posthumous “This Is It” documentary.
“Everybody was lying after he died, sir, that Michael was well,” Faye said to the Jacksons’ attorney, Brian Panish. “And everybody knew he wasn’t. I felt retouching Michael was just a part of that lie.”
During cross-examination by an AEG attorney, Faye clarified and said she had been torn about working on the documentary.
“My initial feeling was that I didn’t want to lie, and the second, my other thing that was tugging at my heart, was that if this movie was going out, I wanted him to look good.”
Faye said she helped prepare Jackson’s body for his casket.
I think cross-examination wiht Karen is over.
On Monday, AEG attorneys are expected to call their first witnesses, choreographers Stacy Walker and Travis Payne.
Because the two must leave for a show in Tokyo, Judge Yvette Palazuelos has allowed the defense to call them early. Faye will return afterward.
How many stories does this woman have anyway.
If Michael was dehydrated, what was Muarry doing? Wasn't he supposed to be hydrating him. I notice that Kenny told Michael to drink some water in TII.
Jamba yes dehydration does cause this. I remember that Dick said that after 05 trial, Michael was thin & told him they were going to kill him. He took Michael & gave him some tests & saw he was extremely dehydrated. He hydrated him, worked on his health & Michael was back to normal or words to that effect. You see that is another problem with this trial. These witnesses make these statements & you do not know what the circumstances are--unless they are saying what the circumstances and the reporter is not reporting it? We don't hear that Michael became disorientated because he was dehydrated.
Anyway Karen's comment about his skin puts the fault on Muarry, the doctor; not on AEG. Unless they are going to say that AEG should know that because Muarry had debt he would not make sure that Michael had enough liquids, causing Michael's skin & eyes to be dry.
Oh, I am not sure if it was uncalled for. Good to let the jury know that Michael was a straight man that indeed had a real marriage with Lisa and did not want it to end... In light of the allegations right now, probably something that is good to establish.
The dr. there also said he was close to death and in a coma when he came to the emergency room but LMP insisted and to this day still thinks it was drugs, not dehydration, exhaustion, and flu, which is what the docs said. Apparently LMP was so outrageous in the hosp yelling at MJ when he was sick that she was asked to leave--by MJ and I think also the docs and his family.
.
I am sorry what did she say about Lisa Marie?
I know right cant wait to hear what lisa marie has to say
Karen does not convince me.... :nono:
To me it makes no sense Lisa to testify since she has not kept in touch with Michael over the years and had no idea what was going on in his life.... BUT if she testify, will be a complete disaster because she will not help much, will only further undermine the question "Michael addict".... *bis sigh*
True but i jsut want to see what lisa has to say cuz to me there more she has to say but is hiding it
Actually Karen said said LMP was begging MJ not to file for divorce and then very next day MJ read in the news that LMP filed and he was devastated.basically that lisa didnt wanna file for divorce and she was begging michael not to end the marriage but it too late by then
Actually Karen said said LMP was begging MJ not to file for divorce and then very next day MJ read in the news that LMP filed and he was devastated.
Jurors viewed a series of photos of Faye and Jackson together through the years, including one taken in January 1996, the day after Lisa Marie Presley filed for divorce from Jackson. Jackson was upset because just before filing, Presley called him and begged him not to file for divorce, She said. "She begged and begged, saying please don't file," Faye said. Jackson promised not to file, only to see "the next morning it was all over the press that she filed before him." The photo of Jackson out with Faye "was to give the press something to talk about" with Faye being "the mysterious blonde." (CNN)
"Lisa Marie Presley was calling Michael the day before (the photo) was shot, begging him not to divorce," she testified. "So he promised her he wouldn't file for divorce. But the next morning, it was all over the press she had gone ahead and filed. He was devastated." (NYDailyNews)
