This Is It cd delayed ?

I just recieved this email from amazon.com as i pre ordered the cd.

"We're writing about the order you placed on September 23 2009 (Order# ---------------). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:"

Michael Jackson "This Is It"
Estimated arrival date: November 09 2009 - December 21 2009
 
I should be shocked that Sony are most probably going to release another greatest hits when we have already had the collection, but i'm not. Like a previous poster has said, 6 million of his greatest hits has already been sold this year. If this album does flop, it's going to look bad on Michael.

Looks like it is delayed then. Hopefully Sony has been listening that we don't want another greatest hits again....

Or probably they sold out their first batch and the second batch will come in between those times.

When Will visited Korea he said he was working on MJ's new album 'The Future'.
Since then I have believed Michael's new album always would be 'The future.' Not 'This is it'
I felt so bad at the day MJ announced his tour. When he said 'This is it' and 'it's his final curtain call in London' I even lost my appetite. I always wanted to see him leading the music and working for 'The Future' generation' and 'futuristic and revolutionary' things. I never thought "This is the end, this is it!"
I felt sick.....

Weird, I haven't received this e-mail, and I also placed my order yesterday.
 
I hope they put it back and change all the tracklisting to unreleased/new songs from the recent years :) Hoping much? Lol.
 
It says as of right now on Amazon.com that the THIS IS IT cd will be released October 27, 2009. Haven't seen or heard anything about a delay. In other news, the CD is already the number 16 bestselling music title on Amazon at the moment. That bodes well.

I think its about time we bombarded Sony with email. I for one am tired of the releases.

Who came up with the name for the song? Michael? Hmm?

Disc 2 looks very interesting for me - unreleased songs, Planet Earth and rehearsal pictures..

You guys are really interested in a spoken-word reading of a poem? I mean, I don't think I even bothered to read the "Planet Earth" poem in the Dangerous booklet more than once.
 
Dont get wht the negayivity is around planet earth. It isMJ reading that for us. Hell i want that it is going to be unique. Nothing is ever enough????
 
I am very much looking forward to hearing this Planet Earth reading. Michael's voice is amazing, especially when reciting something profound.

I don't this will be wise. The minute they play that song on the radio - it will become available as an mp3 online (non-legally of course). I would like to purchase it online in the legal way.

Hmmmm...so dumb. I never understand Sony's marketing.
We cannnot download any MJ songs (or any SONY artists) on iTunes in Japan, but have to get one at SONY's own music site called MORA, then have to convert ATRAC files into MP3/MP4...too much trouble so people rip music off youtube or DlL from file sharing sites. When do they ever realize they are losing potential income?

I bet you iTunes is gonna make the single "Album Only" so that you'll have to buy the entire album just to get the one damn song. :rolleyes:
