totally wrong.
their music producer said its nothing special or innovative.
he said if the song is popular they will be more than happy to support it.
he said hopefully the fact that MJ is on it will spark interest.

the only reason he isnt playing it is coz record label have not given permission. they dont NEED it but they only play "official" singles by their own morals.
 
Ok so let's wait till they officially release this song; I know some of you guys are tired of waiting but it'll be more than worth it in the end.

totally wrong :( hmmh, schmaltzy I have read. May be I have interpreted it that he won't play it, but may be it still will happen they play the song, if they get the permission. But you have written they COULD play the song WITHOUT permission, so for me it didn't sound, as they would be very keen on it to do so. Sorry, if I'm totally wrong. It wasn't my intention to cause a muddle sorry again.

they say the song is not anything special or innovative because Michael is involved with it. if Michael never entered the brain, concering this song..it would have been considered innovative, special..the whole ball of wax. they're just being picky cus they're envious of Michael. they know the song is popular. unless they are unprecedented in not having their ear to the ground as most programmers SHOULD but DON'T...then they'd know the song is popular. sheesh...no wonder the record industry is struggling.

as someone pointed out..the song sounds similar to 'don't matter', a complete song, with only Akon on it (timmy, lol) that went all the way to number 5 on the american top forty.

To be fair it's not really innovative... and it's stupid to assume every song Michael dishes out will change the musical landscape.

If Michael wasn't on the track you wouldn't even consider it to be "different" or "innovative"...

I agree.. there is nothing innovative about the song. I like it, but I definitely don't think it's 'single' worthy. The charity anthem doesn't work anymore

you really don't know what i would consider the song to be.

and why is the definition of 'fair' saying the song is not innovative. how is it any less 'fair' to consider it innovative?

the single has not been released officially yet, so obviously they don't play it -- everywhere, not just in Australia. When the song gets an official release it will be played.

As for it not being innovative -- what song is innovative these days anyway? :lol: Radios play the most boring and crappy music 99% of the time.
 
What gets me is this. When I check Akon's official website, there is nothing on there that even hints to his next album being released in October. So we can't even guesstimate on when we might here the song because dude hasn't even announced an album release date. IMO, it is not enough to say, "My album is comin out in October". What is the release date?
 
Well i agree the song is pretty basic lol..but i love how mj can sing and adlib on such a basic track and it makes u loooooove it. They r right nothin special about the song except that u hear mikes vocals..if he wasnt on it i would even love it the way i do lol
 
If Mike was not on the track, I would think it's a different style than Akon usually goes down.. Basically I would think it is a song with a catchy tune, nice little song but nothing remarkable.. Nothing I would buy or go out of my way to get.. With Mike though, it's a different story.. lol!
 
If the song was all Mike, I wouldn't mind it at all, but Akon just makes the song ssoooo annoying...
 
it may not be anything special but frankly its just wonderful to hears mikes voice again on a track

ur right. michael has a special magic. u know i despise remixes. but when i got botdf..and finally got the courage to listen to the remixes..michael's voice alone made the remixes tolerable..and then..i even started to LIKE them!

For MJ fans, I think the song is still in jeopardy of not being released. But I wouldn't fret just yet, you just have to be patient but if it doesn't come out... oh well. It ain't the end of the world. :)
 
Omg... what is going on behind the scenes? We don't even know(of course lol), geez... Akon and Michael are becoming interrelated, and I mean that as, something fishy is going on. I think his album and Mike's album have some sort of a connection. And yes, there's no official release date for Acquitted, which makes me even more suspicious... maybe it's just me, I dunno, but it feels that way.

And no, it ain't the end of the world if it's not released but... hearing MJ on the radio is refreshing... yes I hear his old songs on the radio from time to time and its great but... maybe I should just stop with my "but's" :lol:

At the beginning of this year, I said to myself that if we did not get a first single from Michael by the end of the 3rd quarter (Sep 30th), then we aint gettin no album this year. We only have one more month left.
 
For someone as quiet as MJ, it's bound to be like that. This is my first time waiting for an album, while I am patient, it is kinda scary. Then again, I'm waiting for Toni Braxton to speak up on that upcoming album... c'mon girl, what's up... mmm good night :yawn: :sleep:

Didn't Akon say in one of his interviews to "check the label?" What did that mean? Is anyone thinking a double disc with Akon's album and MJ's album being released together? These two seem to be a tag team.
 
I really hope that something is released before the year is out.
Its quite surprising that we have had no Offical word on a release date of this HMH single and for the NEW MJ album i seriously would be surprised if we get a release this year (hope im proved wrong) but we are nearly in September already and then the winter is here not long really till 2009.
Whatever the wait is im sure it will be very worth it!!

One could argue Michael makes the song ssoooo annoying, since he's the featured artist. Bottom line: stop hatin'. Enjoy the song for what it is.

I don't... Just saying I don't like it... I don't mind Akon at all, I just don't like how he sings this particular song... that's all...
