I went to go visit my best friend this weekend and he told me a popular south African youth radio station, called YFM is playing HOLD MY HAND and he has been hearing it for two weeks now, and its apperantly number 1 on the RnB top ten.
I believe trust him completly, he would never lie especially since he's a former fan himself.:)
But just to confirm things myself, I'l be tuning in on Teusday to the RnB top ten and atleast I won't be coming back with hearsay.:cheeky:

This is kinda dis-organized. Like I think its stupid to have different countries playing the song at different times. Its better to have the whole world experiencing it at the same time then its a "bigger" song in the sense that the global population is all hearing it together. I just hope it actually gets released sometime soon...if the album drops in October then the first single should be coming out within the next 2 weeks! Things seem really silent right now with little information coming out regarding Akon's new album and Michael's new album. I honestly cant wait until the exclusive story hits regarding Mike's new album details.
 
well what EXACTLY did the writer say??? I bet any amount it's just interperating what he said too deeply.. Can I see?

Well, people are talking about the song being featured on both MJ and Akon's forthcoming album because Billboard / Claude Kelly / Star Power Media confirmed it as such. So far, this is the most solid information we have to go by.

As per when an actual Michael Jackson album will be released, Kelly says a date hasn't been set yet. It's not really reading too much into things, it's just going by what Billboard and those associated with the song stated. I have heard similar talk about the new Akon & Whitney song, that it is slated to appear on both his and Whitney's new album. Obviously, none of us know if Hold My Hand will be different in the event that it does appear on MJ's album (i.e., a solo version or with added vocals), or if it will appear as a main track or just a bonus/hidden track at the end.

And it's not an uncommon move. If the song appears on Akon's CD and released as a single and that single moves to #1, then it's great promotion and marketing for that same song to be on MJ's joint as well.


I don't see the problem with this strategy.
 
The problem is it would sound like Michael's a guest on his own song on his own album. :lol: I mean, it's happened before but it's kinda sketchy but hey... lol... stranger things have happened.
 
On "Hold My Hand" track:

Its good to hear Michael's voice and he sounds great BUT the song is crap... very very mediocre.

I just read on Maximum Jackson that Damien (Maximum Reporter) who has the contact with the australian Radio station got the answer that they won't play Hold my Hand, they DON'T LIKE IT. If you want the whole story, ask Damien himself, who posted the information here.
