Akons album is coming out in October. Doesn't the first single usually come out about a month before the actual album hits shelves? Does this mean that the HMH single and video should be out around september time?

Providing Akon and Michael have decided to release this song as the FIRST single from the album. It could easily be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th single, etc. Im hoping its 1st but you never know. Based on the assumption that Hold My Hand is the lead off single then expect a radio release sometime in the month of August. It all depends when Akon releases his album (early or late October). Personally I'm guessing Hold My Hand will be in high rotation by the end of August...providing its the lead off single!

lucky man. my local stations do things by the book. wont play it until the record company says go.

Found out today, it is NOT illegal to play a leak. Radio Australia wide can play ANYTHING it wants without ANY permission. Nova FM are purely playing the track that a fan has sent them, or that a staff member downloaded on their own computer.

Well, the only thing I get from it is that Whitney still has her pipes in tact. But the song is so so. I really don't like Akon's vocals with hers. Surprisingly, he blends well with Michael.
