theres nothing there for me to click on interms of voting. tbh id rather just see what the actual gen public think of the song rather than fans spamming it.as you then have no idea as to what alot of non fans think
 
the general public is influenced by the general public unfortunately. IMO people like something more when they see others like it, and they dislike it more when others dislike it.
 
IMO, I just cannot enjoy this song because of Akon... I mean seriously, I guess it would be alright if it was just MJ, but dang, Akon just ruins the chorus.
 
^ Surprisingly, he doesn't bother me, lol. When I heard about this song, I thought I wouldn't like it cause of Akon, but I'm actually enjoying it to the maximum :D

Maybe he took some lessons from Michael :giggle:

Nope. It was slated for a fall 2007 release and the version was said to feature more MJ vocals than the two MySpace versions, but that project apparently got shelved.

Exactly, most people follow the crowd. That is why people who have a lot of individuality and uniqueness tend to stand out....from the crowd.

And this is also why the media has been somewhat successful in influencing some people against Michael. Believe me, if the media jumps on the bandwagon and starts reporting positively on Michael's new album, it will help his album sales.

This is why I am so thankful for the internet. Young people can come to places like this and Youtube and MySpace and research Michael on their own and be influenced by the positive comments. And this is why I think positive comments are so important. Somebody is reading your comments and being influenced by them.

I remembered that being posted. Guess it was either a rumor or there was plans but it instead got shelved.

'Hold My Hand', the new song by rapper Akon and Michael Jackson, is 2008's summer in the making and proof that “the king of pop” is back.

Those are the thoughts of just a few music fans who have contacted Gigwise since the track emerged online yesterday (June 30th).

'Hold My Hand' is understood to be the product of the pair's recent studio collaboration, which is expected to lead to the release of Jackson's new studio album.

Speaking to Gigwise, Boggie, described the song as “beautiful” and said it “brings much comfort”.

“The lyrics reach out to the basic need that is so absent in todays botch job of a society. Michael shows his sincere dedication to making the world a better place.

“That is what a true King is supposed to do. The King of Pop is always in the hearts of those who understand what life, humanity and music are about. Michael brings out the best in anyone he works with, Akon sounds so smooth.”

Ertan was also impressed by the track and how “Michael brings Akon to another level”.

“This song simply ROCKS!!! It's so smooth, so beautiful,” added.

A number of fans who contacted Gigwise also agreed that 'Hold My Hand' proved that Jackson had “the best voice ever”.

I just heard the song for the first time and OMG its fantastic. I personally dont like ballads or Akon but I was pleasantly surprised. I listen to it repeatedly and its very catchy.:clapping:

If it IS him, I think he shouldn't be so bold as to defy the intentions of Sony/ATV. Can't he get himself into some trouble?
 
i dunno about this song... its not bad, but it aint something that catches me ears right away...
 
I heard the song once and the melody stuck in my ear and had to hear it again. Its a simple but catchy melody. The intro sounds like Cannon In D Major.

Hmm bummer but it's still at Tempermantals MySpace :)

Lets just hope that Hold My Hand wont be shelved as well! :cheeky:

no offense but knowing that it is out and the hype is huge...IF I were a record exc I would break my arm and leg to have this single on the selves asap! :fortuneteller:
 
The further they delay this single's release, the more people will download it for free, and the less profit-potential it will have for the artist and company (unless they have a better idea up their sleeves for Akons new album, they should release this single ASAP).

if someone has ripped off to mp3 but considers himself to be a fan, then he MUST go and purchase at least 1 copy of this single in the shops or via digital pay site..
