hey you guys. just wanted to tell ya that posters are being banned from u tube for putting that single up, so if you know peeps who are doing this, you might want to warn them...

Do you think this song going to be BIG HIT? because i love this song...its better then WBSS...when will it be release to radio?
 
omg i love it so much, its come out at such a good time for me, i'm going through some stuff at the moment and its really helping me through, and Michaels sounding as good as ever I hope its a bit hit.

The only part's where it's hard to hear Michael is in the chorus, when both are harmonizing because, as was pointed out, Michael is singing more softly then Akon, allowing Akon's vocal to come through stronger. Obviously, though, you can pick out Michael very easily on the opening verse and adlibs. Their timbre is utterly different from one another. But I still maintain that Michael is imitating Akon's phrasing in the opening verse.

Man, they HAVE to release it. Pllllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssseeeeeee!

I know he sings throughout the song; he is singing softly though except for his verse at the beginning and his ad libs which are throughout the song. I was trying to figure out what the person I quoted was having trouble with. I have no trouble distinguishing Michael's voice from Akon's but when they are both singing, and Akon is singing louder than Michael, I try to just focus on Michael's voice.

I was really hoping to hear something today about it being released tomorrow as a single since it will be Tuesday, but i guess no such luck. *sigh* :(

Its michael's voice from the History session ! I like it!
it stays in my head all the time so then its a good song!

Radio stations are obviously (legally) attaining the rights to play the song. Therefore, the artist(s) have to be getting royalties.

Hence.. this is basically saying this song is planned to be released as a single..

Your thoughts?

if this has not had action against i can only predict it must be same as when Ushers Love In This Club leaked... it was so demanded it was made a single and he did the video... bang... number 1 hit.

i hope all this is legit:) i dont want akon and mike to get all legal on them and make them pay. just make it a singe and get urselves some money and a #1 hit already boys!

I think Akon should take full advantage of the track. It's pretty obvious it'd be a major hit, even if it isn't to everyone's liking.

Who knows - they're probably in the process of pressing and distributing radio promos as we speak. It looks like they already have to Choice FM.

i thought that in the car. its only like 3 weeks til the month is out... single out for 3 weeks, then video... all that timing is like, REAL.. its what actually happens in this industry... maybe we are in for something and just coz its MJ, we didnt even think it possible.... "new MJ sngle and vdeo.. no way... its MJ... it leaked so he will throw the song in the bin"

maybe not;)

Hopefully the same that happened with 'YRMW' where it was leaked and still came out as a single will happen with 'HMH' (but on Akon's album).

But it better be soon before EVERYONE downloads it..

it may already be a radio single and we dont know. it could pop up on itunes tomorrow. who knows!

YI think it goes without saying that big radio stations, like Choice FM, wouldn't even dare to risk playing unreleased music as the legal consequences are tooo risky and can cost them a lot in fines.

I believe if a Radio Station, such as Choice FM, is legally allowed to play "Hold My Hand" on air, then they've obviously had Radio Promos sent to the Station.. That's seems right hey?

Now labels wouldn't send out promos unless the chances of them releasing a single was going to be pretty high, hey? This is why I believe the next few weeks should be Very Interesting!

I did send an mp3 to Dutch station radio 3FM. One dj is a big fan, I send it to him. He didn't respond at first. Normally he would play it immediately, not this time. So I asked why... I thought maybe he waited for something official this time. But he wrote me back now, saying he doesn't like the song at all. Well... not on their playlist I guess for now at least.

But as previously been speculated by a few, HMH has been pulled back probably because the song was and still under production. So if that's the real case, I believe no one should break the bubble yet and let Akon or Michael burst it.

When it's ready, we can request like there is no tomorrow. In the meantime I think we should just wait and see.

Where did they get it from? I don't believe it was given to them officially, or it would have been playing on other stations too. I think they are probabvly trying to pull a fast one. if it is unofficial, then it is very likely that they will not be paying for it. Then they are cheating.
They need to do the right thing and wait for the record to be released.
Whoever leaked it probably wasn't expecting this reaction to it.

Sometimes radio plays songs from albums that don't get released as singles, so this still isn't a confirmation it will get released. I hope they do release it, because obviously it has a big potential to be ahit worldwide.
