I agree. I think we as MJ fans need to be generopus to Akon too. He has a different kind of voice to MJ, suited to the type opf songs he sings, he is no Michael Jackson, but nobody is. He did a splendid Job and he sounded really well singing with MJ. I like the way they sound together. There is no need to put Akon down. MJ doesn't need that for him to shine. God bless you Akon, you were very brave to sing with MJ and you did an excellent job. Michael surely did you proud.:D

There are some of the harmonies that sound like it is all Michael's and some sound like all Akon, as though they took turns. The track is very interesting. I guess they had a lot of fun doing it.:D

For some reason, I didn't expect to like this one....but it sounds really great!!! :clap: Even Akon sounds like a normal, talented singer :D :lol:

Michael's voice is divine, he never disappoints me :wub:
 
I find it weird that we haven't heard anything further regarding this song. Nothing from Akon's PR or anything about a possible release, or anything about Aquitted.

Maybe the song isn't entirely finished or something. Don't really know what to think..

You mean when they are singing together or you can't make out who is who when they sing alone? Michael sings the first verse, then he does backup and ad libs for the rest of it. It is hard to pick him out during the rest of the song when they are both singing the same thing because he is singing quieter than akon and blending in with him. I don't think that he and Akon sound alike at all, but that does make it hard.

I was thinkin the same thing dude... something doesnt make sense. Its like they went into hiding or something lol. I wanna hear something from someone soon!
 
I ain't lying, my favourite bit is where Akon serenades Michael. I just love where he sings, I can tell that you are tired of being lonely, and MJ responds by saying 'Yeah. I feel the emotion there and I feel that Akon is empathising with MJ and saying that I feel your pain and I do understand what you are going through and I got yyour back and I will support you,. That to me is very emoptional and very mreaningful.

I've had no issues at all identifying Michael's vocals. My ears are like MJ vocal detectors. If MJ sings in a song...then i know lol

Me too. MJ siongs throughout the song, not just the first verse and adlib. he sings throughtout the song. Some places he sings the chorus alone.

So Michael sings quite a lot of it alone? I didn't realise this so maybe I need to get a better version of the song.

No MJ doesn't sing most of it alone. I believe they share the song equally. There are places where MJ seems to be singing the backing alone, and places where Akon seems to be singing the backing alone, then there are places where they share the backing. They both take turns with the adlibs too. They seem to switch and blend. lots of things are going on in the somg. it is very clever.
