NEW SONG - Akon feat. Michael Jackson "Hold my hand" [updates in post #1]

Am I the only one that hates the term Comback, yes Michael has been out of the lime light for a few years but has never intented to step back, I look at it as more of a return to the scene rather than a comback.

Comeback isn't the right term to use.

i just went and listened to sunny day and it definitely sounds like hmh leads into it, otherwise it's kind of an odd way to start a song.

and it seems like there's no more smacking that or wanting to f*** you for akon, now he's all about holding hands and enjoying sunny days :happy:

Nah I think there's gonna be some of that mess on that album... lol Remember he had songs like "Lonely" and "It Don't Matter" and "Mama Africa" but on the same breath he had "Smack That"! :lol:

with different vocals on it, not the chipmunks voice on it
 
I just listened, (and added it to my Myspace profile) to HMH for the first time since it was leaked, and it brought me to tears. I love it. Michael's voice sounds so damn amazing I just started smiling like an idiot and crying!

Next month Akon and Kanye West are realeasing their albums,mabye on the 25 December will be released MJ's album,like a Christmas present :]

Where did you get that information about Akons album ? Where did you see the releasedate? If this is true, then Hold my Hand will be released before the album , I guess ? which is soon ?!
 
Akon's release date has been known for a couple weeks. November 12th if I remember right.

I'd rather the single not be released on Christmas. Shortly before would be good. That way people can buy it and wrap it as a present. Listening to HMH on Christmas day...sounds cool.

Akon's album release date is 19th of November, 2008.
 
on akon's myspace and official site the release date is November 25th. that's the date i've always heard
is it earlier in europe?

We have just to wait and see.
It's good that we will get it until december.
Mabye Mike will get an example and realease it too.
 
I heard this a few months ago. Its not a bad song but I just couldn't really get into it. I guess its more so the fact that I just don't like Akon's style. I dont know theres something about it that I just never enjoyed. I didn't like his track on Thriller 25 either.

This was just another step into the new era.Michael will continue will be independent from now on.

P.S. I didn't really like them either but it's better than nothing :]
 
I actually really like Akon's style. But I'm weird, so maybe I'm a minority. I could do without the jail door in the beginning of every song though. Gets old after awhile.
 
I wonder what y'all gonna do if Akon don't release it, threaten him, get mad at Michael, be real sad, or what... but I see a lot of repercussions from this because too many here believe he'll release it (Akon) and if he doesn't... this thread is gonna malfunction for good.
 
If it doesn't get released, it doesn't get released. That would be Akon's loss, not Michael's. Either way, it doesn't matter. People around here seem to not have much faith in Michael delivering, for whatever reason, but I have no concern over that whatsoever. I know Michael is going to release another album, I know he's working right now to get that done. And when it happens, it happens, and all the waiting will be forgotten and we'll all be as happy as a bug in a rug.
