NEW SONG - Akon feat. Michael Jackson "Hold my hand" [updates in post #1]

singles are not always label decisions. in the past akon has let his FANS choose the next single, and right now ne-yo is asking his fans to choose his next single.

people, it easy to understand. if you have a song feturing lil wayne, it is your lead single, period. he is that hot right now. lil wayne is the sure-fire money maker. mj is more of a toss-up right now, real talk. akon does not decide what singles are released. that is a pure label decision.
my guess is that hold my hand will be the 3rd or 4th single.

and the labels are in financial trouble, today, because....?

you see where the labels' thinking has gotten them.

Yeap.. until we hopefully see HMH on the track list of "Freedom" (I still wonder why he changed the name

Well the original name for the album was Aquitted and maybe it was changed because Michael is on it, and he was aquitted in 2005. It's just a guess, but you know those ignorant people would make jokes about, so maybe that's the reason behind the name change. Just my guess.

Nah, I don't think it has to do with MJ's acquittal.

Maybe Akon just think Freedom is a better name for the album. Nothing more than that!

 It's much thought thinking Akon changed his title had anything to do with his supposed friendship with and influence of him.

He probably changed it from Acquittal to Freedom because Freedom sounds nicer. Though they mean kind of the same thing, they give off different vibes. Freedom is more.. free-sounding, if that makes sense.

The tracklisting for Freedom has been released and Hold My Hand is nowhere to be found.

Ughhhhhhhhhh WHY.
I know right... totally contradicts what Akon has said these past several months. Saying Mike will have the spot definitely on his new album.. and couple times saying the song they've been working on, to be on the album.. and now, I don't know anymore. LOL seems plans has changed, or was it always this way? I'm really confused. O_O  Ah well...

o_o

Hmm.. I see other new songs have been cut off the album too.. that were supposedly to be on it. So, it ain't just MJ's duet thing.. if that is the case lol.

Well anyway, other than that I'm like BLAH now. :mello::lol: *shrugs*

HAHA I don't know why I am laughing. :hysterical: So random.

I'm alright, I'mma try to keep it calm and cool. *breathes*

LMAO I was just on Wikipedia a few minutes ago to find that official tracklist too, on there. But now I just went on, and now see that the new info has JUST been taken out and say there's no official source- no citation. :hysterical: wtf.
