Akon, dump Lil Wayne. Like...now.

I think HMH will be on Akon's album, even if it's not a single. Akon wanted it and talked about a video. It'll happen.

it's very true..that in every walk of life..people who record successes, had to wait for them.

and MJ's patience has garnered him great rewards.
even if it seemed like overnight...he's reported in articles, he's had to wait...

Akon talks so much BS so Im not surprised...
He thinks Mike and him are on the "same level as artists" sooo no true..lol. Anyways, HMH might end up like On the line that was such a great song but no video or anything...
I really wish we knew something solid about what is actually going on...
 
There hasn't been any news about HMH for sooo long, so I don't think it will happen!

Shouldn't they male a video for it?

How can you say that? Michael Jackson fans are the most patient in the whole world EVER! We have to wait 7 years for a new album through out his whole career unlike other fans of other artist who get up to 3 new albums in a year!

I was 14 when Invincible came out but don't remember it all that well... so I'm still waiting to actually remember the mania that comes with a new MJ album and that's been since 2003 so... that patience alright!
 
well serves all of us right for jumping the gun with all hearsay, rumours and offhand passed down information. Really, we have heard very little from the artists involved in the project itself so our frustrations are just built on what we imagined. For example just think if HMM never got leaked/released early we would not even know of such an effort. Michael probably felt like sharing a track with us...maybe it was just a fun little collab and was not meant for commercial release!
 
Not really. Akon has been rambling on and on about this song. So it's not COMPLETELY hearsay.

Akon rambling alot is true but I thought he wasn't specific..just spoke of collaborations with Michael, working with michael and releasing his own album with possibly MJ collaborations included.

I maybe mistaken...despite my best efforts to go skim through the entire thread I found none of akon talking about HMM...except for saying 'no comment' or something
 
It came from RollingStone, from the beggining of this year, he mantioned HMH, saying it a collaboration of him and Mike, and said quote:"It's a global smash".

Cause his peeps "probably" told him to CUT THE CRAP, they ain't waiting on MJ and Akon better release something quick, they ain't moving up the album anymore. LOL!

And it "looks" like they just released Akon's first single to itunes, with no fanfare at all. No build up. No nothing.

Almost like they made that decision without Akon.

And that's exactly what makes Michael Jackson who he is, the most legendary star ever. While the rest pop out up to 3 albums per year, Michael has only had 7 solo albums in a 30 year period and still walked all over the rest. Yes it takes hella time, but it is more than worth it.

Well that explains your anxiousness, yes, you have been patient but remember that the man has already done more than enough in his career, just because you were too young to be a part of it doesn't mean it doesn't count. If the man wants to chill, take his time and sit back and relax in between, it's his right to do so.


I really don't know what to make of HMH at this point... if it doesn't get released that would be a shame, but my guess is that it may have something to do with other stuff (Bahrain lawsuit) which I believe hasn't been settled.

Could be. But it doesn't look it'll come out and if it's put on an album, likely Akon will have it on there but it'll probably be a new version (w/o MJ). Not trying to say that what I'm saying is true but stranger things have happened.
 
that song ain't no global smash, that's why it's not being released
