Murray Trial - October 11th - Day 10 - Discussion

About this picture being shown on TV : in the Casey Anthony case, the judge didn't allow the pictures of Caylee's remains outside of the courtroom. I suppose it must be different in California. That was shocking, and I don't understand the point in showing this.

the date was correct (06/25), it was the projector that made it look wrong (8/25). I was watching and when they closed up on the date it was clearly 06/25

i know. But when they were talking about if it possibly was a wrong date, i got the "oh, the hoax believers will have a field day with this".
it's so sad that some will rather deny his death and live in LALA land, than face the facts. Heck, i also want him to be alive still, but fact is he's NOT, and instead of making up random clues, excuse me, "clues" then spend your time on following the case so we can get justice for Michael....

Hence another example of why the children should not have PUBLIC twitter accounts. Children should be shielded not exposed

and RE-Amen!

About the homicide explanation : If I remember correctly, the autopsy report also stated that it would have been almost impossible for Michael to self inject, because of where the catheter was in his leg. It made it almost impossible for him to reach. Was that only the anesthesiologist ? I wonder why Dr Rogers didn't bring this up.

It's devastating...it's very wrong that that photo is there forever for the whole world to see. I too think it should have been sealed. It's like even in death, and scrap of dignity that he had left just gets blown out of the water!

EDIT: Much needed lunch break. Have a breather everyone.

Yes, it's devastating, and I'm sure a lot of us, like myself, saw it UNINTENTIONALLY, as it was broadcast on live-stream tv.

Sure, it was "evidence," but only the JURY should have seen it. The photo should have and could have been sealed. Now, it's gone viral in still photos literally all over the internet. It will be hard for Michael's CHILDREN to avoid it, if only accidentally.

This man's music brought joy to MILLIONS, and he has been treated with such incredible disrespect. They didn't even have the DECENCY to cover his face, which is almost always done for the deceased, out of respect.

This truly is a low-point in the American justice system, to allow such a gentle and private man, to be seen DEAD and entirely naked (except for a square of black over his genitals.) His face was visible, eyes closed, breathing tube still in mouth.

WORST thing I've ever seen. This violation may even be ILLEGAL. I think his family could sue the State of California, maybe on behalf of the children?

did rogers mention the IV being in the location it was as one of the reasons for calling it a homicide? i dont remember him saying that and b4 that was one of the main reasons. now it was about doing all that in two minutes

Seeing that photo, god, Michael was all about privacy and here we have pictures of his dead body floating around. It'll be on the front pages of the papers tomorrow. It makes me so angry, that's not how I want to see Michael. I want to see the beautiful human being that he was, singing and dancing, with that amazing smile. Not laid out on a mortuary slab.

Nobody can stop us to see him like he was for 50 years of his life. From thousands gorgeous pictures of him we don't have to remember the las one, the only one bad picture in all these 50 years.

But haven't the defence changed their story from self-injection to him drinking it? Or am I wrong in that?

Does propofol have any effect if you drink it?

I simply cannot believe there are people in this world that think it's acceptable to send a picture of a child's dead father to their Twitter account. I simply cannot fathom it, it makes me sick.

I am in total agreement and feel sick to my stomach about what this person has done.

No he did not, probably the prosectors want to bring their expert that Dr.Anderson talked about. Dr.Rogers only spoke about MJ's health in general.

No time of death still? the defense will sure ask him about that.

There's a reason why it's designed for IV use.... i think the liver would metabolize most of it, but im not that familiar with anesthesia (although im a nurse, lol.... i work in psychiatry...).
I think you'd end up vomiting if you drink it. Yuck

Very true. I'm not in denial. I still see him like who he was when he's here with us. In my mind, he's as gorgeous as ever.

I saw the picture. Yes, it's absolutely horrendous. But, I still see a beautiful soul. Like Ramona said, that picture is a picture of his earthy remain. I can deal with it much better today than the time I saw the first one on Day 1.

AP has an article saying the prosecutors will call a LEADING propofol expert later this day .

WTF is wrong with people??!! Reported.
you don't need a twitter account to report him/her. Just go to twitter FAQ/ help center. I just reported him/her too, ad I don't have a twitter account

This is beyond sick! How can people be so unbelievably cruel?!

Yes. Cruelty. I think this is the first time in U.S. HISTORY, that such a photo has been used in court AND broadcast for the world to see? Michael deserved SO much better. I think now that there is no chance that his kids will NOT see it.

This was the ultimate in disrespect.

Camera's should have been turned off. No one in the outside world needed to see that picture. The media are going to have a field day out of it.

I was really upset a lot with showing that pics. Did the family have to allowed this exhibition or they couldn't do anything if pros decided to show it? Or maybe they allowed the broadcasting of the courtcase at all?

they were only allowed to show 2 pics, right?
As i remember the judge ruled in favor of showing 2 pics.... so.... we're done?

I don't think we can blame the family for this, they probably wouldn't even know what photos were going to be shown...It's probably up to the Judge and the prosecution probably didn't see anything wrong in it being shown to the public and so wouldn't have said not to show it. Though I have heard the judge ask on occasions whether there are any objections to it (ie evidence in question at that time) being published but I don't remember the Judge asking this time.
