It's devastating...it's very wrong that that photo is there forever for the whole world to see. I too think it should have been sealed. It's like even in death, and scrap of dignity that he had left just gets blown out of the water!
EDIT: Much needed lunch break. Have a breather everyone.
Yes, it's devastating, and I'm sure a lot of us, like myself, saw it UNINTENTIONALLY, as it was broadcast on live-stream tv.
Sure, it was "evidence," but
only the JURY should have seen it. The photo should have and could have been sealed. Now,
it's gone viral in still photos literally all over the internet. It will be hard for Michael's CHILDREN to avoid it, if only accidentally.
This man's music brought joy to MILLIONS, and he has been treated with such incredible disrespect. They didn't even have the DECENCY to cover his face, which is almost always done for the deceased, out of respect.
This truly is a low-point in the American justice system, to allow such a gentle and private man, to be seen DEAD and entirely naked (except for a square of black over his genitals.) His face was visible, eyes closed, breathing tube still in mouth.
WORST thing I've ever seen. This violation may even be ILLEGAL. I think his family could sue the State of California, maybe on behalf of the children?
