Let's all answer the question for the best selling album and put in the wrong album title and see if we will win.

I see they continue to make no sense--if they want to sell tickets why put the ad on a site where there is much MJ hate. GLE needs to borrow a 2-year-old child's brain, but maybe I am insulting 2-year-olds.

^^Thanks for the information about NASA. If pieces fall in the stadium, GLE could use that information to get people to buy tickets. They could put up an ad saying "See a piece from another galaxy-- better than a galaxy of stars."

Can I ask a few questions?

How many tickets have been sold to the best estimate? How many tickets are still available?

I don't think many people from outside the UK will give this a second thought, given the fact that half of the participating acts are from the X factor. The other thing is, realistically, do you honestly think Jackie, Marlon and Tito are going to go through with a J5 performance without Randy and Jermaine? Surely, they realise how bad it would look?

I wonder why Jermaine hasn't seized his opportunity to be lead singer of the J5. He's been talking about the reunion since God knows when. It seems odd that his brothers couldn't persuade him. I can understand Randy's absense. He didn't support his brothers in that reality show either.

I honestly don't think they can cancel this. It already happened with the Vienna tribute. What reason could they possibly give, other than it clashes with the trial? Then again, how can they possibly go through with it, if as you guys say, it'll be an empty stadium?

Although I feel sad that there's now tension between the fans and family, I'm glad that, as fans of MJ, we chose to not participate in this. Michael always felt used by his family, and by supporting this, it would mean we accepted that it was ok for him to be used further.

Stranger's post -We don't have figures for tickets sold, but members here have been checking the website and seeing the same tickets up for sale, and with the recent expensive newspaper ads it all suggests they're not moving well.
Have no idea how J3 will manage to recreate J5, I guess with alot of difficulty. Not sure why jermaine isn't going to be there, prob complicated family stuff and ego, i don't think his brothers supported him in his vienna tribute. Also i'm sure the trial timing played a part.

Yes i agree, i think the concert will go ahead. Not out of pride but purely financial, i just think they've worked out they will lose more by cancellation than by moving forward.

Can i ask something, just been visiting the cirque thread and coming here by contrast is painful. Is there a reason why this is still a sticky in the news section? It's not official - it's an embarrassment and is best swept under the carpet. As it's the family's tribute, is it not best to put it in the 2300 forum? Just a thought.

^^Yes good idea. This should now move quietly to the 2300 section. I notice that the family keep tweeting about practising. No doubt they know people read the tweets and hope some followers will go and buy tickets. They are using any social media at their disposal to advertise poor things. I wish them well, but not in this concert. I want this to fail. Let them come up with something better and more tasteful in the future. I hope this is a learning experience for them and they do not repeat the same mistakes. Bottom line they need to stay away from sleezy promotors and activities where they intend to make a quick buck off their dead brother.

I would also like to know the Estate's reaction to what Global Live is "trying" to do.

It just seems to me that if the Estate did give them permission to use Michael's intellectual property, i.e. pictures, why are there still no pictures of Michael on their official Facebook page.

Also, would this be an issue that needs to be address by the Estate of Michael Jackson AND Bravado Merchandising. I don't know how it works, but does using a picture of Michael to promote "whatever" also infringe on the deal the Estate has with Bravado?

In an interview and in a fan conference I remember Hunt says the use from the images from Michael in the UK is legal and in a fan conference he said he don`t use the image of the website because you can see it worldwide. It`s the opinion from Hunt.
