About this conference call...well, honestly I have mixed feelings. I understand some of the reasons given by Gaz, but I feel deep down inside that this is missing a chance to advocate for Michael. By not at least trying to participate, I think this may be playing into their hands. As for the time of day, isn't it set for 11 am PST? That's a 9 hour time difference to Europe making it 8 pm in Europe. Or with the 8 hour time difference, wouldn't that make if 8 pm in London...No?

As far as the questions go, the conference call was announced originally 23 August. Plenty of time was had for organizing questions if the intention to participate had been there.

And frankly, if it means fighting for Michael, why should ego matter. Sure, they should have approached the clubs but they didn't. It is a shame to give up an opportunity to go one on one with GLE or which ever flunky they choose to send.

I am not surprised that he thinks the estate asked him. The way the family behave and talk they act like they are the estate and everything is fine if they say it is.

They are gonna run everywhere like freaking chicken and make phone calls to know where this comes from, if it's true, and then they're gonna sue GL cause they asked them to do a conference call without telling them the concert was actually cancelled...

This is gonna be fun! Wish I was a fly to see all that.

If they were really aware and with the fans, they would have someone reading this thread and would already know... but hey...

god how embarrassing!!!!! it SHOULD get cancelled already. let's hope Cee-Lo's words are prophetic and it will be cancelled soon.

also, what the hell!!! "asked by the family and the estate"?????? so the artists are being lied to! I'd love to say "unbelievable" but sadly it's very believable judging by the way this nontribute is going.

I wrote her email in aprevious post, but here it is again:

It's no secret email, it's written as a contact on her company website.

I have to agree with you this is no way to pay tribute to Michael just the thought of Kiss being part of this is enough to make me sick.

If I'm right, that conf. call is supposed to happen in like 45 mn. And they just started tweeting fan groups to have their contact information for this? Wow. Organized much?

That is not true. if that was the case, then Apple would not be suing Samsung in Europe for infringing on its patents. IP is not limited to a country. It does not work like that.

Don't be fooled by the trust fund. It's a smoke screen to funnel the money to KJ and her lazy remaining children. MJ3 will NEVER see a penny out of it.

That's what I have been thinking. Them saying or suggesting they can use Michael's image because it's not in the US doesn't seem right. Michael was a global icon. I trust the estate people know what they are talking about then these people.

if michael's image could be used in europe then the european market would have been flooded with non-estate image bearing products but as it stands Joe had to go to germany only in order to used that one image right that was lost...

From what I've seen, they have sent invitations to several fan forums/pages on twitter. But it was like 2 hours ago.

Gaz said the call was much later tonight..... maybe there is conflicting info on that...

also despite saying admins of fanclubs had to contact them and verify themselves this has appeared on the fb page:

'Hi Everyone, All Fan Group Administrators have now been contacted with details of the phone in for tonight's conference calls. We're looking forward to speaking with you soon. Thanks.'

its like watching a creature with a head on each end try and walk in one direction.
 
Haven't been contacted. Emailed Juliette Harris to ask if the conference was going on since it was supposed to start 30 minutes ago, all I got was

«They were supposed to reach out to you»

They didn't :) It's ok, I can say that I tried and I'm happy with that.

The thing of the Joe Jackson/Wiesner-Deal with the UD-Group is that they use Michael`s lost History MJ-Logo. They can only use the Logo, but this is not limited of Germany. It is worldwide. So they have the MJ-Logo and the name Jackson from Joe.

yeah, so its just that logo. Its not MJs image in germnay or anywher else in europe cos we all know that Joe would be ALLL OVER THAT.

ok :hug::.....now that should tell ya something.them not reaching out to you. They are so full of shit and probably already had the clubs picked out that WILL agree with this stupid farce of a tribute. Lets wait and see what happens
