Personally, I was never fond of calling Michael family just because I am just a fan at the end of the day. He may have love us, but it's nearly impossible to care about a sea of strangers over people you grew up with or grown to know through personal experience. Even the fans Michael personally met and knew didn't have the same imput as those who worked with Michael everyday. Which is why I always found it tragic that fans who were mostly distance strangers in Michael's life seems to care about him more than his own family. In this case the term fanmily fits.

Quite frankly, this should make the entire Jackson family feel ashamed. However, I think the family has passed being ashamed along time ago. If even after Michael's tragic death that family can't see him as nothing more than a paycheck, then the outrage of millions mean nothing to them.

You know,every time they mess up by trying to use Michael or his children or by disrespecting him or his wishes I'm reminded of Janet's words at the BET awards : "to you, Michael is an Icon; to us, he is family".I was disgusted by Joe's behaviour,but I still respected their pain back then,so I received those words with a certain benevolence and understanding,even if I felt they were untrue for myself and many others.
Every move they make now,those words resonate in my mind like a cruel joke.Really,Janet? You think so?
What Joe said then ("it's like he was larger than he was ever before. I think Michael gives his love to everybody and we hope his record will never be broken") and the whole clan's behaviour during the last two years show that's what they really care about : M.O.N.E.Y

She did what? And now she's on twitter getting involved in teen drama, helping Paris fight 'posers,' and in turn drawing more unwarranted attention to her niece's account.

She is the only Jackson to get involved in petty twitter fights (trying to score more points and become popular among Michael's kids I guess), and openly encourage a minor to engage in something that has subjected her to hate and cyber-bullying.

She is not only going directly against her brother's wishes, but behaving age innappropriately. Does she think she is 13 too? If so, Latoya is in need of some psychiatric therapy.

She is a nasty, greedy old woman. She is trying to profit off her dead brother (books, phoney tributes), and on top of that is guilty of the worse betrayal possible by misguiding the three people that meant the most to him in this world - his children.

^^You see the big problem is that they really do not know what Michael was doing or what was going on in his life, so they listen to the media or follower fans for news. The family did not see him on a regular basis, so are clueless. If the media says something they run with it like idiots.

LaToya didn't give a shit about what was going on with her two weeks ago when that stalker guy kept sending Paris disgusting tweets,,,and then yesterday she tweets to come out and tell the world that the account is really Paris..like really??? I agree with your WHOLE post. LaToya needs to be stopped know..it is completely obvious what she is doing. Not only is she setting a bad example for Paris..who by the way is loving all the attention...but LaToya is bullying another child. It is obvious by the tweets that the other person IS a child to...and LaToya should be ashamed of herself getting in the middle of such teen drama and encouraging Paris to be mean to someone else. Michael would NEVER approve of that either.

Toya's an attention whore. She's take it anyway she can get it. At the moment using Michael's kids is the easiest way to fame, especially Paris. As another poster pointed out awhile ago, sorry can't remember he/her name, you noticed that she only mentions Paris when she's talking about the kids. It's always, 'Paris told me this' or 'Paris saw this'. She never mentions any of the other kids. It is because Paris is the most popular of all the children because she spoke at Michael's memorial and she's more of a social butterfly than her other siblings. I mean Prince was the man of the house, yet Toya doesn't even bother to mention him and Blanket is was only mention because he is the most popular to talk about when it comes to DNA talk.

La Toya Jackson thinks a lot of Michael Jackson haters have had a change of heart since her brother died -- but it's unclear whether she's including Gene Simmons in that group.

You'll recall KISS got dropped from the upcoming MJ tribute concert in part because Gene has said he believes Michael was a child molester.

Hello, newbie here, dragged out of lurkdom by the 'tribute' shenanigans. Was interested in the stuff that might be going on behind the scenes between the estate and the concert promoters (although the term promoters might be a tad optimistic in this context).
I'm positive that the concert was first advertised as the official tribute to MJ but it now seems to have changed to 'ultimate' tribute. It was ridiculous of GL to broadcast itself as official when the estate clearly had never been approached for assistance/advice. This fact alone rang alarm bells as why would a concert promoter completely bypass the estate of the deceased artist they are meant to be tributing, esp one headed up by some serious players in the music business, and instead deal with a family with such a poor business reputation and who are in open and often ineffective revolt against the estate.
I first saw the family's connection with this shady company as yet another way of bypassing the estate and causing them problems whilst making some serious money, a little like the Howard Mann affair. However, the fact that this GL company was only created a few months previously, the emergence of the links between Latoya and the company and the fact that the 2009 MJ documentary which the British GL chief produced apparently featuring interviews with members of the family suggests a closer relationship than a mere opportunistic jumping on the bandwagon by the Jacksons. I notice that Mrs Jackson is always quick to say that she was merely approached by these gentlemen with a fantastic readymade proposal and really, how could she refuse. I'm thinking this scheme was very much a joint enterprise between the Jacksons and the individuals who make up GL and don't believe the family are just being used as a figurehead.

Interesting, it's all about forgiveness. Then why isn't it possible that MJ forgave Branca for any problems they had in the past and wanted him in charge of his estate? Instead, she brands him a murderer. Even Dr. Murray gets a "I'm sorry for him."

Forgiveness is based on what most suits LJ's purposes.

She really is something else.

"We got tickets.....so if you announce better artists before Wednesday we'll buy them."

Another person who completed registration said:

"U lot said all artist would be announced before end of ticket sales so we would know who we're paying to see. Ur telling me the people announced are it?????? Who in their right mind would pay to see that lot."
