Yes, we already have the leaked version. But the leaked original MJ solo version is not of good quality. The sound is not CD quality. If I play MJ's STTR original version on huge speakers, I can hear some distortion. I am an audiophile and I have a good ear for sound quality. I only play Michael Jackson's music in my car subwoofer all the time and I am very meticulous when it comes to audio quality.

I am hoping that the MJ estate would release STTR in PRISTINE CD QUALITY, and if they release STTR duet with Bieber, I have no problem with it, as long as they release the original MJ solo of STTR along with the duet in the next project of posthumous MJ album.

More likely it was originally authorised by the estate. They chose not to release it and now it has leaked. So what we are seeing is damage control.

***ATTENTION MJ ESTATE***

I hope you read this. I have no problem with the MJ estate choosing to release a modern version of STTR as a duet with Bieber.

But please, if you release that duet, please release the original MJ solo version IN PRISTINE CD QUALITY. Because the leaked verion of 'Slave To The Rhythm' is not perfect quality, and I am an audiophile, so I can tell that the leaked version of STTR is not good quality when played in huge home theater speakers. The leaked version's quality is just acceptable, but it is not perfect CD quality.

So MJ estate, please if you're going to release the Bieber duet, please release the MJ original version along with it. I BEG YOU!

Glad the Estate is also fully aware that fans don't like or want Justin Bieber recording any MJ songs.

But Justin has ruined the surprise of STTR being released for the world and angered fans further by his ****ery..
yet another reason not to like him.

That's the million dollar question. And why would he work on a track without having permission to use the vocals?

This statement is not clear to me. It could mean anything from "we have nothing to do with this" to "we are planning to release this but did not authorize this leak" to "oh crap, that did not work out, err, let's just say something vague while we work on a solution."

edit: hmm, although they do refer to the 'recording' itself... No idea what to make of this anymore.

To avoid confusion: That statement is of no importance as it is contradicting to the copyright claim by SME (Sony Music Entertainment) for the takedown.
Unfortunately it does NOT mean that horrible mix was not commissioned by The Michael Jackson Estate. It is a default statement for something we call a "leak" which they would even state if it was all planned as in the industry leaks are also pretended.

So the nightmare ain't over.

Exactly. This was/is an officially authorised project it would seem. With any luck it was scrapped and this is just an accidental leak.

If this was not approved by the estate, I hope some legal action takes place as this song has already radio airwaves and has been played and promoted all day long by stations.

looks like this. so cause they allready started to delete. i tried to post a comment on one of the uploads and after i tried to click, create the post, the video was deleted.
but i have a very bad feeling what is coming. shit

well looks like this day is a very bad day for me. first my youtube account with 600 or 700 videos got deleted, with all the murray trial stuff and the present trial videos, ...., and now this. :mello:

It's called PR. Something is going to happen soon. This news or leak and last week Jerkins material. All who will deny everything thing. MDP months back. It's a game,MJ used to play this way. What if we get unreleased demos just MJ and the other disc is like this song? Would that be ok? Like thriller 25? MJ did it. Just saying...

I am a little confused here. Why did they take it down? Is it because, it was leaked too early before it's supposed to be released? Or is the song 'not authorized' because it wasn't official and never meant to be released? Please enlighten me, I got so excited the past few days upon hearing the news that Fred Jerkins is going to release new MJ songs. But now that the Bieber duet got leaked, some even suggested that there may be a duets album coming up. I HOPE IT IS NOT A FULL DUETS ALBUM! I want an MJ album with a few duets but mostly MJ SOLO versions of unreleased songs.

The fact that the estate actually considered putting Bieber on an MJ song is disgusting in itself. The thought never should have crossed their minds

I want to believe you... But like the other guy said; I think it was an experience. How fans reactions will be..

Let's say; we don't like it. we don't want any vocal in his records. If it's demo, just release demo. Don't try to make it a new song...
