My upsetness regarding duet release between. Mj and bieber was solely on this song or any completed song of mjs. I would have little issue with bieber and mm collab if either it was a sample of a released song. Or mj had a incomplete song that couldn't be released without extra verse or more..

I'm not feeling bieber lately but I don't hate him.. I think its immature to talk so low about him when we don't know him.. We preach about haters too much to hate! I'm speaking to myself too.

Just don't freaking let this release and release the solo version on an mj CD.. Simple..or Michael from my understanding wasn't planning to release another alum but to release singles.. So just do that from now on

PLEASE MJ ESTATE, don't release this song. Release MJ's solo version, with the improved instrumentation. MJ's version will make us all happy :(

Excuse my stupidity but does 'this recording was not authorised' mean the release of the recording or the recording as a whole.

They can't realease a genius with a boy who can't write a song and 10+ people to do this for him. If they want to realease something it should be something with MJ only. It is just unfair to use MJ as a force to increase JB popularity and sales.

What the HELL? The original leak of Slave was absolutely brilliant, it was such an MJ beater. This new Bieber version is absolutely awful it's so generic and soulless.

first they say "recording of “Slave 2 The Rhythm” by Michael and Justin Bieber" and then say "this recording was not authorized". so in a perfect grammatically sense it would mean the recording as a whole as not authorized. but then there's the issue of authorization and what does entail exactly

If they say it won't be releasd, I'll be satisfied. I just wonder why JB tweeted about it if it's not authorized.

The story seems to be: last year, someone in the Jackson family–maybe one of the kids– gave Justin Bieber a copy of Michael’s unreleased “Slave to the Rhythm.” He remixed it and added his own vocals. Now it’s been released er, leaked, all over the place. The Michael Jackson estate has sent out take down notices but the damage is done. It’s everywhere. How did this happen? Bieber lives in the same gated community as Katherine Jackson in Calabasas, California. Frankly, you don’t need Bieber’s dullish singing on the record. It’s Michael Jackson, for god’s sake

its very confusing, I don't think it's fan made as JB is singing the lyrics, so its not a mix. Plus JB hinted at it which s why Capital radio sought it out.

the surprise of a truly classic song has been taken away, im heartbroken that michael's art is being degraded by this shoddy teenager who's too big for his boots. today has been unforgettable :cry:

Jacksons had MJ's computer with music on it after Michael's death and before they turned it to Estate - it was established during KJ- AEG trial.

Could it be on the computer as it was one of the songs considered for a release by Michael? They could have made copies? No? Who knows.. that's what Friedman claims as how Bieber got the song, believe it, don't believe it, take it with a grain of salt, your call..

edited to add: Jenkins is also a possibility IMO.

I honestly have no idea what you mean. This thing was released 3 years ago, today released nothing new.

Well...so that happened... Smh

i listened to the "song" and personally, i felt it was a bit, ok, a lot soul-less and Justin trying hard to catch up with Michael. It has a bit of pop feel to it. I just dont understand why this leaked when even the original wasnt even released... But tnx MJ estate, for putting out the statement.
