MJ Estate Statement Re: Justin Bieber Slave To The Rhythm Recording. [Merged]

This song needs to be released NOW to capatalise on the publicity it has received with Bieber. If its not released SOON it will be looked at as old. With MJs birthday just gone right now is the perfect time to release the mj solo version as the first single off the upcoming album.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but does anyone think LA Reid may be behind this duet? He's wrote/produced the track with Babyface, he's now the Epic Records CEO and he's the one who signed Beiber to Island Records. Just a thought.

LA Reid might have had a hand in it, but Max Methods said it was Tricky Stewart who brought in Bieber for the vocals. No mention of LA Reid.

L.A Reid owns Epic Records, and i'm fairly sure he'll bless the release of the 1989 demo for DANGEROUS25. maybe he could work on it with Kenneth Edmonds (Babyface)? just a thought.

Yea I know. I was just thinking that it's possible the whole idea to have come from LA Reid in the first place as he is connected to the track and to Beiber and now we know he's also behind the next MJ project. Because Tricky Stewart just doing this on his own seems kinda unlikely to me. Just speculating here of course. I'm sure we'll get more info in due time.

Makes sense to me, Timbaland did say LA Reid gave him the songs. But has it been worked on since April 2012 (when STTR was recorded)? it could've been, but I'm not sure.

LA Reid did mentor bieber and he's always thought highly about him so it wouldn't be a suprise if he got the demo from him. But we can't really say, I mean celebs have gotten inside access to things that we don't.. I remember artist after artist mentioning how they heard "starlight" long before we did.. So to think this day and age it would be pretty easy with someone like bieber to get something like this..
