-New MJ album, 3 DVD set titled "Vision", and The Experience all being released November 22nd/23rd depending on the area. Announcement has already been made up and is planned to go public very soon.

-My source also confirmed 100% to me that the DVD set will contain a new music video for the first single off MJ's album. Promotion will be BIG, it's all coming together. Unfortunately I can't reveal the details on promotion just yet but I can say one thing...Wow I'm excited!

I was told to let all MJ fans know. In addition to a party in Sydney, Sony is also planning an event in LA and London as well as other locations around the world. I had a dream the other night that a new Michael Jackson music video came out. It was for Another Day. It showed Michael and Lenny working in the studio together. They were having fun. Michael was dancing. Lenny was playing his guitar.

Um, do you guys realize that SC_05 has done nothing in that last post of his except repeat the REAL info that Damien has dug out, and add his usual, vague "an announcement is coming really soon" prediction that he's been feeding us since, oh, what, last May?

Seriously people, wake up and smell the coffee. There are only THREE people on this and other boards who actually deserve our thanks, and that is MJDatabank, MkGenie and Damien.

Kreen, as i have said before are you PRESS seeking to destroy the good feeling an general happy times that are to come continuing Michaels legacy! Are you someone just negative to any good news? Are you a real fan? Lets face it look at his amount of posts and what they consist of , most if not all negativity and to put it blunt dont you think MJfans have gone through enough!?!
You only joined AFTER Michael died! surprise surprise! in other words to quote Michael WILL YOU BE THERE! no you was not!

SC-05 does not have to give us any news , but what he does , right or wrong brings excitement to this thread and i for one welcome this. So why dont you negative people start your own thread .

A new album is coming. What more do you want? It doesn't matter who says it, or how many times. You can talk once YOU have new information for us. Calm down.

I am completely over joyed and emotional about this. As much as i love that we are getting this i cant help but hate it because Michael isn't here to promote it himself. This news has me crying my eyes out because Michael left us his love and his voice.

I know everyone has mixed feelings about this album but please remember that if it weren't for Michael being an over achiever we wouldn't have such things coming out. If he never over recorded there would only be the things we have and nothing new.

But with this news i cant help but be cautious with the fans. I know you want the new stuff. We get news from insiders and unnamed sources and we should be thankful to them not hating on the messengers that bring forth the message. For the people who grip constantly about how reliable our sources are please stop and think. I say this a lot but it still holds true. These items and projects we are getting are gifts and should be grateful we are getting them.

No amount of bitter posts will damper this news. I love you SC05 for bringing us this news and thank you for keeping us in the loop.

I want to be positive, but we still haven't heard any confirmation! And SC_05 doesn't count. Rest assured that on the day where Sony and the Estate FINALLY grace us with a definite release date and title, I'll be joining everybody here in celebration! But right now, with supposedly two months to go, there is still no official release date. I mean, normally, not only should we already have a release date and title, but the publicity campaign would have already started. So I think I'm justified in fearing a delay.

I'm not picking a fight. You are entitled to your opinion. I just want to say mine too.

Normaly, an annoucement on an upcoming album is made in advance. After the announcement, the artist can follow up and start promoting the album by performing in an award show, giving interview, tweeting, facebooking or doing something outrageous to gain publicity. For this posthumous album, are the above possible?

Say, an announcement was made a month before. What could Sony and the Estate do to follow up? It's impossible for Sony to run TV commercials or magazine that early. By the time the album is released in November, the impact would be gone. People's attention span is very short thesedays. How much news can be generated to keep the buzz going between an official announcement and album release when the artist himself is not among us anymore? Both Damien and tricia70 pointed this out before.

What normally works for other living artists do not work in this case.

Damien's source and MKGenie's source both confirmed a November release. Teddy Riley kind of confirmed a November release.

Even from a business standpoint, Sony has every reason to relase the album before the holidays season, first to coincide the release the game and second to get in to the busiest retail season of the year.

Just calm down and enjoy the moment. Listen to Michael's existing catalog while waiting. That helps a lot!
