Mr. Cascio has just said that the mix is wrong on the version we hear and that makes it sound fake, give us the Demo and we can hear it for ourselves... the Demo Michael recorded, with his unmanipulated voice!

I know, i still don't think it sounds like him. But don't forget, by changing the pitch and other things, you can make a voice sound different. I don't understand why they would do that though.

THIS IS REAL 100% Why would Teddy Riley lie about it. He is the one that has been in the studio with Michael all those years, like he says, there were professionals, musicologist that have been inthe studio with Michael and they say it is authentic Michael vocals. DID ANY OF YOU FANS EVER RECORD WITH MICHAEL IN THE STUDIO - DID YOU? Ask yourself that for once! ARGGGG! I am so angry right now at the so called fans. And Cascio confirms Michael was there and it is him! MY GOD!! This is so depressing because we should be ecstatic about this and because of this greedy, jealous family of his, some of you are being fooled like this. THIS IS MICHAEL!!

Think about this, would you have believed that 2000 Watts was Michael? if that song was released and we had never ever heard of it before? Probably not, well the same with this one. He was working on new sounds all the time, his voice has changed since his Thriller days. AND NONE OF YOU ARE EXPERTS!!!

I am not going to hurt Michael like many of you are doing. Please don't believe the crap his family is saying. Remember Michael distanced himself from them for a reason... he did not trust them. They want this album to fail. Ugghh and you fans are falling for it? I don't believe it! Sometimes I hate this community. I really do. All the negativity, all the nitpicking, it is horrible. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE SONG _ It is amazing. I've already pre-ordered 2 cd's and will order more for Xmas gifts. \\

If you want to really kill Michael then you are going to do just that by doing this. YOU - the fans that are boycotting or thinking of boycotting this album really make me sick.

And one more thing, just because Jerkins says "it doesn't sound like him" that doesn't mean it isn't him. Again, does 2000 Watts sound like MJ - NO IT DOESN'T, BUT IT IS HIM!!

What's ironic is that the non-Mj fans- (the general public) will buy it like crazy, but some of his so called real fans won't. Just ironic if you ask me. I will buy it (already pre-ordered 2, and will buy many more for Xmas gifts).

2000 Watts does sound like MJ to me. He was just singing lower or talking wasn't really much singing to me. But I could hear his voice.

I cannot hear the song any more, it's been a horrible presentation of the album and I think I will not buy it, i will get it but not buy it, delete the song from the Cascios and keep the real songs.

This is a mess, bigger than Milli Vaniny's scandal.

What you are saying on how you feel could be reversed on how I and others who believe this is NOT Michael feel.

We are so called fans for not believing it is him? LOL! Ok then.

For me, This has NOTHING to do with what the family has said, I know with my own ears what I hear.. I am not being fooled by anyone. I have listened to Michael since the age of 9 ( Now 36 ) I think I can think for myself on what I feel is him or not.
 
In this case I do believe Teddy Riley is full of shit yes.

If he's saying its Michael on that song then I do.
 
My opinion - Breaking News has too many layers of the backing singer and Michael's voice has been edited way too much. Someone was also hired to fill in uncompleted parts. The ad libs are all MJ. Anyone agree?

If the whole album sounded like Breaking News there is no way I would be buying it. I am not buying something that isn't the real deal.

Michael would not want me or any of his fans buying an album full of material that wasn't even himself. :doh:
 
I hope they remove any other fakes before the release. HMH should be real.
 
I am puzzled as to whats been going on here.......I just got home and listened to Breaking News and I must say I like it. Whatever the technicalities involved in making this track I have no knowledge, but I for sure will be purchasing this album.

One things for sure, there's never a dull day in the world of Michael Jackson and he no longer being here has'nt changed anything it seems.
 
I still don't think after listening to it 5 time that "breaking news" is MJ! I think it should go to court! And they can ALL lay it all down! It's not only "breaking news" that's being questioned here! It's more songs!

So how are we gonna know if they take out "breaking news" that their ain't others that will sound just like it on the CD? This is such a damn mess! I will definitely wait last minute on DEC 14 to see if I will buy the CD! But, right now it's a NO! Ofcourse I want MJs legacy to live on but, with his real voice and no controversy over it! This is his is art and they messing it up!

This is making sense to me...if the Cascio tracks are the ones in question, then there you have it...

And we have confirmation that there are legitimate songs on the album.
 
Can people stop for a minute and try to think straight, the only reason there is a debate about who is singing is because of Lotoya who is a known liar and the 3T boys, Sony have invested way too much into this (more than any other artisit) to mess around with getting another singer in to do Michaels lyrics. They were given 100s of songs do people really believe they would pick one that needed new vocals, i mean why would they risk such a huge investment $200 million, do you really i mean really believe that the execs at Sony were releasing this saying lets hope nobody notices, come on people, sometimes we are our own worst enemies.
 
You know this really makes me sad. I've been an MJ fan for over 25 years. I came to this forum because I thought I'd found a good place to honor his legacy and be part of his extended family. I thought I would find some great support for him and his legacy. I was soo excited and I am still sooo excited about his new album and all the projects coming out. I just thought his fans would support him 100%, but all I see for the most part are fans that want to boycott this album. If you do that then of course that is your choice, but you will be damaging his legacy for good. You think this would hurt Sony in any way, not at all. They will survive, but Michael will not. No sales means forgotten Michael and the media would have a field day.
I've come to this forum, always hoping for positivity but for the most part all I read was negativity from the very beginning of this New album thread. I just have been taken aback at how negative and nitpicky all of you are.

I've listened to Breaking News and I absolutely love it, it is so catchy and wonderful. It is so much better than any crap out there. AND I believe it is Michael. His family once again have done a good job in damaging him. He stayed away from his family for a reason. Money and greed are very powerful, and that is what his family (Joe and co.) are all about. Joe has been that way since Michael was 5, why would he stop now?

If you don't believe Teddy Riley, again that is your prerogative, but I certainly do. I do more than I will ever believe his family- that is for darned sure! Too bad you are not giving this the benefit of the doubt. Michael never got it through his life, and now some of the fans here are not giving the benefit of the doubt to this incredible song. How sad, imo.

I'm so depressed and frustrated, so I had to speak out and vent with my posts. And I'm depressed because his own fans are doing this to Michael not because of the new song or new album. I am so incredibly excited about it all- the album will be incredible I just know it.
