This is so true. They knew there were doubts about this song. Couldn't they have spared us this grief and released another track first? I was so excited about hearing new music from Michael and now this. They should have had more sense.
 
I don't think I and everyone who think BR wasn't michael because of the talks before the release that there were fake songs!! btw i didn't give those attention! when i played the song at the first time! i knew it wasn't michael! that's it! I can't force myself to believe its michael while its not! get over it people! IT'S NOT MICHAEL!!! :worried: what a mess sony did!
 
today i eventually started to question the vaults. there's always been talk about dozens of songs waiting to be released.

-first of all, almost none complete michael only song has leaked during the last years and especially after his death, where everything was out of control anyway. while other artists have stuff leaking all the time (even big names like madonna)

-and today we have the "breaking news", which already includes riley admitting that he was forced to put together pieces.

-there are more of those home made cascio tracks in question planed for "michael"

-riley saying there's going to e a duett album for lacking vocals reasons.

-and i think it's worth to mention that the back then previously unreleased songs on the ultimate collection were also mostly demos, some even rough ones like "in the back".

someone tell me: where are those completed, 100% michael songs waiting to be released?? on "michael"? today does not make it look so.
 
^ That's what I'm talking about. All the demos are incomplete. If fans don't want to hear complete, but some Non-MJ back up vocals in there songs, they should stop arguing and just act. I don't care if you guys stop Sony making the new album. I just don't care.
Cuz I know the new album won't be as good as the albums Michael worked for thoroughly.
well... I don't care either the album is to be released. I don't mind listening to heavily mixed songs like Breaking News, since there's no other option to choose.
 
I so... want to hear ALL of Michael Jackson's unreleased music.
Please stop raining on my parade!!!!!!
 
Even the cover of this album is FAKE. I mean, look what they did to Michael's face. It really doesn't look like him. I mean, I am to the point where I am not taking this project seriously anymore. It's really ashame.
 
Fans, now pray, pray for Breaking news to be a fraud. Because if the music is not false, the fault for this circus will be "ours".

If Teddy Riley was in control of mixing/finalizing Breaking News and it is Michael as he claims then it is his fault that Michael's voice is not discernable in the song.
Maybe Teddy Riley was upset or jealous that he wasn't selected to produce the tracks so he deliberately chose not to level the vocals appropriately. The music annd rhythm sound great and the song is catchy. You could pull Michael's voice from an answering machine and it would still sound amazing so what the heck happened to that track and why?

You're right, people failed to look after the integrity of the project so we need to assert ourselves and do so! Please see the thread Sony's Ultimatum and let's all come together and protect Michael's legacy. If we don't get to the bottom of this who will?

I'm not up for waiting 'till the CD coming out to discover if there is a need to protest, I'm ready now and will expend whatever amount of energy I need to do so.

We need to be a united front and prepared to tare Sony down or anyone else who attempts to hinder, or harm what Michael has created.

There's Sony, there's Teddy Riley, the Casios, the family, anyone else and us and as far as I'm concerned they are either with us or against us because we are for protecting Michael's musical empire and I don't know or care what their agendas are. It's the music that matters!

I have to agree. I never really liked the cover. Why couldn't they ask for an outtake of the photoshoot that Michael did with Ebony magazine and use that for the cover and some others from that auction book for the inside booklet? Maybe I'm complaining too much. But the whole fake song thing has really got me down. This is just ridiculous considering all the years of pain and agony we and Michael had to go through before the announcement last week, not to mention Michael's dying before he could finish everything he had wanted to accomplish. All of it is just so sad.

I was going to ask that question ....

"What happens if it's find out/proved that it is actually Michael singing in "Breaking News" - will there be an apology from the fans?"

IMO .... it just seems like such a slap in the face to Michael, not accepting his efforts in writing the music and lyrics and singing even just part of what was released.

Have we given enough credit to what Michael began ...? It's just unfortunate/tragic he could not finish it off personally & that had to be done by those who have.

We all love Michael and I think we are some times too eager to want to protect him ... but in doing so ... have we forgotten to give him credit too in the case of "Breaking News" ?

PS -

I stick with my opinion that ... I LOVE what Michael began with BN & realise they had to add backing vocals to fill it & I'm excited about the new album & I'm pleased too that I have pre-ordered it.

We sadly have to realise that after Michael's tragic passing ... we will never ever again get a 100% completed/produced/approved MJ album.

Taking this into consideration ... I'm a happy MJ fan to just hear any of Michael's work that he had been working on !!

If we, the fans are wrong, then we apologise for it & move on & learn from the whole sorry mess.I'm still in the camp that Michael is on the song but there is someone else on there too. I have never wanted to be so wrong in my life!

And if it's fake, wouldn't THAT be a slap in his face from his fans to mistake him with some impostor?
 
If we ever get a straight answer -- and it may not be a mathematical breakdown -- we're going to have to heal our hurt feelings, help our fellow fans who are feeling anxious or sad about all this, and refocus our energy to protect Michael's artistic legacy.
 
It would not be slap in the face, because the track is horrendous, cheap and sounds like 10x washed Justin Timberlake. Michael would never do this trash, all of his leaked unreleased material has special spark in it, which BN totally lacks.
 
Guys in one of the "Breaking News" Threads Smooth has an update, unfortunately it details how over 50% is filled in with impersonators :( hopefully it's not true

I'd love nothing more if what we thought was wrong.I just want things to go back to normal & enjoy the album.
 
Smooth also says that Sony are having huge meeting today to decide how to move on the project, if at all??? :(

I only want Michael no one else , if they are going to give us demo tracks if thats all there is there , then so be it, as long as can hear the composition and lyrics if any im happy dont put someone else on his project though. Unless it was to be, as in an actual Duet.

Where what the insider says? I would if I could but i am on my iPhone.Basically the insider said that his source said that it is indeed an imposter on the record with a little mj on it.Sony are supposed to have a big meeting today to discuss the future of the album.

I pre-ordered the album with vision today IF the contrary is proved and songs are with impersonators we will simply BURN THEM below Sony's Offices !
 
It is NOT Michael Jackson singing in Breaking News and period. Don't you guys now start to believe them.. We know Michael's voice better than anyone. BN should be removed from the official site and from the album. We can't give up now. This meeting they are having today should be with us (fans)!!
