I truly believe Teddy Riley, but at the end of the day...do i know him? I do know that money does strange things with people, who knows. But if you'd ask me, i don't believe it.

I still believe it's a marketing plan to make the buzz the lyrics of the songs and the titles work in this way and already now that this isn't the first single. So if I right in 7 hours they will update the web site with a new version

If the Cascio's, Sony and TR are soooo sure that Michael is singing this song, maybe they should give us the Demo to hear for ourselves.

Mr. Cascio has just said that the mix is wrong on the version we hear and that makes it sound fake, give us the Demo and we can hear it for ourselves... the Demo Michael recorded, with his unmanipulated voice!

Agree. I would love to hear that demo of Michael's beautiful natural vocals.

Worst publicity stunt ever - if it is one. How can they get themselves out of this?

I DO have to admit now, after reading his interview...i am having serious doubts. He comes off SO genuine and honest, he's not even afraid if it would get taken to court. That IS saying something. Also what he says about all the other people MJ worked with for 20 years, that they knew for sure it was Michael.

Of course he won't say he was working on a fake.

To me the interesting part is rather that he admitted John McClain was dead against it. And like Friedman reported McClain too thought some tracks were fake.... So it wasn't just 3T, it wasn't just Michael's family, it was also the co-executor of the Estate, John McClain....

I just don't know it anymore....one side of my firmly believes

Teddy Riley is not lying, he sounds way too honest and genuine here. Also what he explained about Mcclain and such...it does make sense if that's true what he says about that his producing was done before Mcclain's other producer had finished the songs.

And the possibility that MJ INDEED was trying out new things, and that Sony had to alter and edit things, because this recording wasn't final.

The other side believes this......

WHY would his three nephews lie? I read all their messages, they really seem honest about wanting to keep his legacy alive, but in a good way. And i also would like to believe Katherine and such.....

So basically.....i fucking have NO IDEA ANYMORE! But i really don't like it ONE bit that we have to have all this shit , this whole fiasco...it would have been so awesome if we could have simply enjoyed this, 100% knowing for sure it's our hero on the record. Instead of that we hear lies lies lies.....or vice versa :(

Just listen to your ears. It's NOT Michael, people!

You do not know him, but you know the Jacksons. The same family that caused such suffering to MJ.

this wasn't a pr stunt. where did that come from?

this was the very FIRST song they chose to advertise Michael's album which i'm sure sony hopes to be a huge success. this was no stunt.

I also remember, yesterday before the full song was even out, I remember hearing that they had non michael jackson fans listen to the song or album and they said it was really really good. How come they didn't get REAL michael jackson fans to listen to it too???? And if they did? Why wasn't it reported? And just the opinion of the non Michael fans that were talked about?

I thought this: Maybe MJ uses a new vocal sound and wanted in this song to not really sounds familiar cause he sings in a "third person mode". That explains for me the "strange" vocals. Like he says these things as if he was someone else.

some (not very) funny stuff going on with BN
firstly Cascio came VERY late to the party with these tracks - why?
Per Cascio, all the multitracks, computer sequencing, hard drives etc etc all 'conveniently' dissapeared or irretrievably stopped working.
MJ often just recorded demos with just a first verse and a chorus
Did Cascio realise that 'completed tracks' would be worth MUCH more than the "usual" (lol) MJ demos of 1st verse and chorus and thus got someone to sing other verses and choruses and then conveniently lose the original session parts?
Something not right here at all my friends
I suspect that Teddy has done the best possible job given the apparent complete absence of original discrete source parts
Nevertheless, is this really the best that Sony could come up with given the 'apparently' hundreds of tracks in the archive?

People need to stop bashing Michael's family.

Michael loved each and every single member of his family. That's a fact.

Another thing,

Sony can't hide the truth forever. I know one really good possibilty as to why sony/estate released this track anyways, but I can't say it here, unfortunately. This is what Sony/Estate gets for using Michael's music for their own pr stunt.

I bet Michael's laughing down at them right now.

I wish the Estate, and especially John McClain would say something....

Maybe we should remember to keep ALL talk about BN in the thread about BN !

I would rather pay for a collection of demos without any production work on them. At least then I could hear Michael's voice. Praying that this will get figured out by the end of the week. I am done discussing this…

I hope the song doesn't discourage people from buying the album. I love Michael so I would buy it anyways. But we do need to hear his voice.
