I just think the WHOLE THING is fraudulent.

Me too, but we can't rule out that among of those 12 recordings there isn't any real MJ song as we haven't heard them all. MJ could have recorded a song or two there but it was not enough to make some serious bucks on them so the Cascios hired an impersonator and recorded a full album's worth of songs.

That is true, we know for sure that Michael did record something over at their house. Maybe if one of the tracks sounds like him (and is him...) and they release it, all the believers will go "told you". I can see it happen but it wouldn't mean a damn thing.

i know what you mean. i think the whole thing is fradulent too (it's obviously the same person on every cascio track) but i DO agree that KYHU and All I Need are the best attempts at fakery. That's because it's easier for this impersonator to do michael's soft ballad parts than his more uptempo songs. it's still not him on the slower songs, but, for me anyway, it's MUCH easier to believe that "all i need" is michael than any of the others. but again: it's not.

see, that's how i feel when i hear "monster". i'm just instantly horrified.

Despite what some of the "believers" might think, that doesn't mean that just because we have different opinions about which ones sound more or less like michael, doesn't mean it's all psychological or imagined. I'm just more/less attuned to certain kinds of music. Like on this board, we're all huge michael jackson fans, but i'm sure we all have a different favorite MJ song. same thing.

what's important is that we all agree that none of them sound like him.

Yeah, MJ never recorded any sub-par material. So that whole Invincible album must have only happened in my mind.

And again, it's all psychological. If that exact same line "they eat your soul like a vegetable" was from a non-Cascio track, many here would be saying it's a clever hommage to his earlier hits, and indicative of MJ's fun-loving, anything-goes creativity. Or they'd be defending it as only a "dummy" lyric meant to be replaced later.

Are you saying the WHOLE Invincible album is sub-par? Are you implying that songs like Butterflies, Speechless, Whatever Happened, The Lost Children and Threatened are of the same quality of the Cascio tracks?

In my opinion, several tracks on Invincible are among the best he has ever recorded.

Stay is the poorest attempt among the Cascio tracks.

The same for me.

I must admit that "Keep your head up" in terms of vocals (not in terms of lyrics) and "All I need" sound like MJ. But it is also easier to imitate MJ on slower songs. Jason Malachi could easily take this challenge up and make himself pass for MJ on slower songs.

"Stay" sounds like a bad lookalike.

"Monster" and "BN" sound exactly the same as Jason Malachi on faster songs.
