It was James Porte (aka Bobby Ewing). Roger Friedman has been writing about the same thing for months now. See below

He wound up staying with the Cascios from August until November. And during that time, with nothing else to do, he listened to the couple's son, Eddie, record with a singer named Bobby Ewing. Eddie's brother, Frank, had helped write and produce the Ewing tracks. They asked: Why not erase the vocals and have Michael sing over them? Michael agreed. When it was done, Eddie Cascio put away the tapes. No one ever discussed it again.

but even we go with his scenario he gives us 4 possible combinations for the vocals:
- MJ (all)
- MJ (majority) with Porte
- Porte (majority) with MJ
- Porte (all)

Well actually you have to see the whole episode to understand. It's hilarious :D:D I think it is called "laughing box"

but anyway many episodes are soooo absurd that I love them! I love absurd things!

I can't watch the whole thing! It'd drive me BONKERS! Srsly, my nephew used to watch it OVER and OVER again.....I've gone mad..

Believe me, if there is anything worthy to watch on TV is Sponge Bob. Everything else drives me nuts loool. All the neverending series, voyeurism shows and stupid tv programs contain less intelligence in one hour than Sponge Bob in one second.

Well I have a 3 year old son who requests Spongebob every time he gets the chance to watch TV lool. I first showed to him and since then I've been brainwashed by my own son lool.

But as I said earlier, there is anyway nothing better on TV nowdays.
