Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)
Hold My Hand was completed, it was a completed song when it initially leaked, just not to Michael's standards. Only thing that went into the album version was a bit more production, and a few more ad-libs.
Hold My Hand was never completed, because it leaked, and the album version is completely reproduced (not a bit more production) - listen to both versions once again.
I Like The Way You Love Me, was also a completed demo, and again, the only thing that went into it was production and the vocals toward the end that Michael went and re-did himself.
The Way You Love Me was last worked on by Michael years ago and it's not a demo - it was a completed song. He did not re-did any vocals after he recorded the original, as a person with studio experience you should know that the last part of TWYLM 2010 is modified using melodyne and not resung. He has no input in the music on the new version (although Neff-U claims he discussed this remix with MJ himself)
Another Day was also completed, the initial leak had a repeating verse, the inclusion of another in the album version implies the initial leak wasn't done in full.
The leaked snippet was 1:30 (January 2nd 2010) and has no repeated verses as you claim. It's the exact same song, just different production completed by Kravitz in August 2010.
The only incomplete songs on the album would be Behind The Mask, and we don't know how complete or incomplete it may have been in it's initial form since it had never been heard before, and Hollywood Tonight.
Actually Behind The Mask is one of the very few songs on the album that is vocally complete. Hollywood Tonight is the most incomplete song on the album.
The "Michael" album:
Hold My Hand (completely new production)
Hollywood Tonight (completely new production)
Keep Your Head Up (completely new production)
The Way You Love Me (completely new production, fully completed vocals)
Monster (completely new production)
Best Of Joy (most likely very slight changes - background vocals by Mischke added)
Breaking News (completely new production)
Another Day (added guitar accents, based on the same instrumental as the original)
Behind The Mask (completely new production, fully completed vocals, the original version with a different instrumental was finished and ready to go on Thriller)
Much Too Soon (completely new production, original 1994 guitar accompaniment (by a session musician Jeff Mirononv) was re-recorded in 2010 by Tommy Emmanuel)
Michael has never heard how the songs sound.
