Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

There are tons of mj trademarks on the Invincible album... "Yeeeee-eee", "COME ON NOWW!", "dah ah dah", "baaaabeeeh", random ad libs, etc. Why even bring this up, the album has no questionable vocals.

I know. It's just an attempt to tie them in with the Cascio abominations.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Hold My Hand was completed, it was a completed song when it initially leaked, just not to Michael's standards. Only thing that went into the album version was a bit more production, and a few more ad-libs.

Hold My Hand was never completed, because it leaked, and the album version is completely reproduced (not a bit more production) - listen to both versions once again.

I Like The Way You Love Me, was also a completed demo, and again, the only thing that went into it was production and the vocals toward the end that Michael went and re-did himself.

The Way You Love Me was last worked on by Michael years ago and it's not a demo - it was a completed song. He did not re-did any vocals after he recorded the original, as a person with studio experience you should know that the last part of TWYLM 2010 is modified using melodyne and not resung. He has no input in the music on the new version (although Neff-U claims he discussed this remix with MJ himself)

Another Day was also completed, the initial leak had a repeating verse, the inclusion of another in the album version implies the initial leak wasn't done in full.
The leaked snippet was 1:30 (January 2nd 2010) and has no repeated verses as you claim. It's the exact same song, just different production completed by Kravitz in August 2010.

The only incomplete songs on the album would be Behind The Mask, and we don't know how complete or incomplete it may have been in it's initial form since it had never been heard before, and Hollywood Tonight.

Actually Behind The Mask is one of the very few songs on the album that is vocally complete. Hollywood Tonight is the most incomplete song on the album.

The "Michael" album:
Hold My Hand (completely new production)
Hollywood Tonight (completely new production)
Keep Your Head Up (completely new production)
The Way You Love Me (completely new production, fully completed vocals)
Monster (completely new production)
Best Of Joy (most likely very slight changes - background vocals by Mischke added)
Breaking News (completely new production)
Another Day (added guitar accents, based on the same instrumental as the original)
Behind The Mask (completely new production, fully completed vocals, the original version with a different instrumental was finished and ready to go on Thriller)
Much Too Soon (completely new production, original 1994 guitar accompaniment (by a session musician Jeff Mirononv) was re-recorded in 2010 by Tommy Emmanuel)

Michael has never heard how the songs sound.

So... Back to off-topic stuff?

My project was green-lighted! I'll be dancing one mystery mash-up song and one encore song in the summer for my Tribute Concert.

I'm going to have to talk to the "highest student authority" though to run the show by the,. It should be fairly routine. There also may be an issue with the conditions that I want it recorded in, but I can just ask people to hold the school's camcorders at various positions in the Main Hall while I perform. Aside from that, I'm tweaking the song in question (I'll reveal it to the masses after a couple of rehearsals which start next month!) to make it absolutely perfect!

Yeah, it's quiet today...I miss our talks :(

I guess people are more preoccupied with the news of Frank Cascio writing this book......

The Cascio rule? It reads something like 25+2x6x2009 = $$$$$$$$$$$$

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

The thing about the Cascio Rule is the answer is always the same ;)

Yes. It's the rule that keeps on giving ;)

If you don't follow the Cascio rule you end up bankrupt like Arnie Klein!

And this doesn't ring alarm bells for the believers?!?!? Unreal!

My reponse to that will surely get me banned.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

For some, it's okay for the Cascios to write a book on Michael becasue they have the rights to defend their names. They are provoked so they need to stand up and tell their side of the stories.

But, if the Jacksons is to write a book, it's called cashing-in their brother/son/uncle's legacy.

Not saying I agree with the Jacksons past questionable behaviors, but, I don't understand the ongoing bias towards Michael's own family.

Agreed...This ties in with going on Oprah..That show was an absolute waste of time. They only addressed the vocal issue with 'It is Michael' ....They keep their 'friendship' private ALL these years, and THEN, in the midst of a new album, they decide to talk about Michael and the moments they've shared, not only on Oprah, but now in a book? I just don't understand how people can't see what is going on here...
