Yes, right before he was born I discovered Spongebob and laughed a lot. I said to myself, one day I'll show it to my son. Today he's showing it to me lool.

But another interesting thing. When he was 2 years old he requested Beat It by MJ!

Among hundreds of songs that I had on my laptop that day, he heard only once BEAT IT and requested it over and over again. Afterwards he heard SMooth Criminal and Bad and sometmes prefered watching MJ's videos than cartoons! looool

p.s. He recognizes Michael on all songs and pictures (even in old pictures, but doesn't recognize him on songs such as Monster... I wonder why)

p.p.s. He actually thinks that Ne-Yo is singing another version of Beautiful Monster lol

The ones I bolded are the ones I watched! Family Matters FTW!!! I was just thinking about that today! I had the name 'Laura Winslow' in my head for some reason! lol

Well the sound was extremely edited. It was really not a big deal. It's the sentence that he said right after that was funny as he was eating everything he could. He especially wanted to eat the cat.

Of course I do.

Not only do I remember, but I have all the shows on DVD :p

And in their children's rooms there were posters and pictures of Michael Jackson on the walls.

Yes, I know :wub: I remember never wanting to see this episode when it came on because I'd get so jealous that they were going to see Michael live, and I couldn't see him :(

i love the time when there is a good quality show when i turn on the TV.

now, even after paying so much money for HD cable and having so many channels, i can hardly find anything i like...

I actually remember when that episode was on TV. I hadn't expected that they were going to go to the MJ's concert. (There ws one also when they went to Janet Jackson's concert).

But when I saw them going to the concert I was expecting till the last moment that Michael was going to appear on the show as some other guests did, such as Stevie Wonder.

Unfortunately Michael did not apear.

HOWEVER!!!!! I remember watching around the same year another show live:

ARSENIO HALL show! At that very moment when I was watching the show, Arsenio interviewed Eddie Murphy and they were talking about Michael JAckson. I again expected Michael to appear. And guess what!!!! Unexpectedly Michael DID appear!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!!!! Here is the video, anyone remembers this?:

Well my project is coming along nicely. I have to meet the "Senior Prefects" in 13 days to tell them exactly what I'll be doing. My Head of Year told me that even if they decide not to include it in the Leaver's Assembly, I can definitely play it in a normal assembly, but that means I might not be able to do an encore, given by how long the assembly is when everyone is brought in.

I've also talked with my Creative Consultant at school, and we're going to create a prop for the performance to add tot the theatrical quality I want to infuse into the performance.

This is so true...I personally can't stand watching TV..Only if there's something absolutely worth watching...I will get on a kick where I'll get into a reality show, even though I can't stand them...But sometimes it's nice to just watch mindless crap..lol..

I have HD channels, too, and the only things I really watch are movies and the Oasis channel (have you heard of it?) It's so great! Especially in HD.

I plan on starting rehearsals next week. They won't be too extreme, mostly just marking my steps and trying to find the right atmosphere for the song. The plan for the moment is rehearse for one hour a week, but as the time approaches, it will increase, until I'm rehearsing at every single free moment at school. My Creative Consultant will be there filming all of my rehearsals for a little "making-of" I plan to make as soon as the performance is finished. I just wished I had a recording device to record the conversations that me and my Creative Consultant had today, but it appears my phone can't do that.

Nope... I've never heard of the Oasis Channel? What is it?

I do watch reality program sometimes, guilty pleasure I guess. When I watch dance show like Live To Dance, I always find myself hoping to see a MJ inspired routine.

The sad thing now is that no TV show is addictive. I don't find myself rushing home to catch a show. I don't pay for DVR because not that many shows are worth recording. Plus, I can always get the DVD's after the season ends.

Why has no one heard of Oasis? :lol: It's a nature type channel, pretty much the same as BBC Planet Earth..The channel is in HD, so it's quite breathtaking to watch. All sorts of stuff to watch..Basically the flora and fauna of different countries all over the world. I love watching stuff like that...

Times have changed, that's for sure..What about Saturday morning cartoons? I haven't seen anything remotely close to the stuff we used to watch when we were kids
