Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I miss Sonic SatAM, it was the best Saturday morning cartoon I've ever seen. It was pretty dark, but had a great story. Plus it had the voice actor for Tigger, Jim Cummings, as the villain :D

Would anyone know how I can get the raw vocals for "Smooth Criminal"? Not the official a capella, but the vocals straight from the record? Well, more specifically the ad-libs at the end without the chorus going on behind it.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Why has no one heard of Oasis? It's a nature type channel, pretty much the same as BBC Planet Earth..The channel is in HD, so it's quite breathtaking to watch. All sorts of stuff to watch..Basically the flora and fauna of different countries all over the world. I love watching stuff like that...

Times have changed, that's for sure..What about Saturday morning cartoons? I haven't seen anything remotely close to the stuff we used to watch when we were kids

hmm.. i don't think my cable provide carry the oasis channel. i also enjoy watching programs about the nature. i find it fascinating.

the kids have hanna montana, iCarly, etc... thesedays... the problem is those children shows are so adult-like... what happened to childhood innocence?

hmm... i guess 2000 watt section is always a good place to look for rare stuff...

sorry, not helpful at all here.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

OK, for the mash-up, I had to find ad-libs from "Who Is It" that didn't have accompaniment of any kind, and the "aaow!" from "Smooth Criminal". Would anyone mind listening to a snippet of the song for me to get a second opinion?

OK then, I look forward to the feedback! Unfortunately I have to go to bed now, so I'll be back in roughly 8 hours before school.

Jim Cummings is awesome. He did the voice of Darkwing Duck, can't get any better than that

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yep, plus he sang as a replacement for Jeremy Irons on the song "Be Prepared" on Lion King when Jeremy Irons' voice gave out after a particular line.

I'll post the link to the song, and as soon as you get to the line "You Won't Get A Sniff Without Me!" all singing onwards is Jim Cummings! It's indistinguishable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR_xyWIX5xU

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

What in this thread is about the Michael album anymore? :(

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

This is bad... It's almost like there's a tumorous thread growing rapidly inside of this one! It needs cut out and put in some sort of general discussion or something.

The Cascio's and Sony and Malachi are getting away, everyone!

This thread should be renamed 'Only Go Here If You Want To Continue To Praise Michael's Legacy Through Random Fan Memories and Thoughts'? Where's the controversy anymore?

Or is the off-topicness the new controversy?! :O

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I have concerns about this thread as it has gone way off topic - even to the point to not discussing Michael's music and talking about cartoons.

are we done with the discussion on the controversy? if yes we can close the thread and move on. and reopen another thread if -when any new information becomes available.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Guys, in an effort to keep the controversy going, what do you think about the song Stay? :tease:

We're still not done with controversy though. The off topic was just to release some pressure after so much intense discussion and so to call fight.

Back to the topic, many 'believers' are putting forward the argument that the conspiracy seems impossible because of this or that or the apparent numerous people involved.

Yet, we are forgetting that Michael was tried twice with people who wanted his money! Didn't the Chandler family build up a conspiracy to extort money and got away with it? And there too more than one person is being silent (silenced).

The last trial, wasn't it a conspiracy against Michael? A vendetta by Sneddon and a con artistry by the Avrizos? Wasn't it unlawful? Yet Michael was extremely tarnished and the wrongdoers such as Sneddon and Avrizos got away. In other words, as Michael wasn't proven guilty, it means that Avriozs lied. That's the logical outcome.

All in all, when it comes to money, the conspiracy isn't difficult to set up.
So, my question is, why would it be less believable that the Cascio tracks are fake, especially when we don't hear Michael on them? The chorus "too bad" in the song MONSTER, sounds nothing like Michael, absolutely nothing.

Stay is the greatest song I have ever heard.

Because, comparing the Cascio's to the Arvizo's & Chandlers is utterly ridiculous, IMO.

Didn't this thread get closed? ;)

Does anybody have anything...?

... Just listen to 'too bad', you guys, and 'everybody wantin' a piece of Michael Jackson', it sounds nothing like him...

Stay is like the new Human Nature and Breaking News is like the new Will You Be There, Monster kind of reminds me of Leave Me Alone only Monster is 100x better.

Jason Malachi is currently viewing this thread. 101

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Comparing the Cascios to the Arvizos is absolutely legitimate.

Michael loved and lived with the Arvizos. Getting Gavin through years of cancer treatment. And he referred to the children of the Arvizo family as 'family'. So what's the difference???

Michael Jackson dies. The Cascios register potentially bogus songs in his name two days after he dies. And then sell those songs to Sony. For money. Songs that sound absolutely NOTHING like Michael Jackson and EVERYTHING like Jason Malachi.

What difference are people seeing that I'm not???

Kicking a man (and profiteering of a man) when he's dead is just as bad as accusing a living man of a heinous crime (and trying to profiteer of him). In my opinion.

I see your point Sam, and it's in the same ballpark. But there are different degrees of a similiar crime.

One family tried to profit as well as seeking to destroy a man, his legacy resulting in destroying his life and seeking to enforce punitive measures.

The other family seek to make a profit but only (in my opinion) in a desperate need for kudos & fame.

It's not right, but it's not the same. Just as punching someone in the face isn't right but it's not the same as murder.

Proof of this is that unfortunately in 30, 40, 50 years time when people discuss Michael Jackson, the sexual allegations will always surface, where as no-one will mention the Cascio tracks.

Nobody says it's same. The point here is to say that the conspiracy against Michael did exist and do exist. Each case is different of course. But involving several people in a conspiracy is totally plausible.

Comparing the cases isn't ridiculous. It just shows some similarities as far as some relationships Michael had with people who framed him.

No, it's not ridiculous - but it is flawed.

Like you & Sam, I've followed Mike for 30 years and have been through every trial & tribulation, every doubt & frustration. And in the grand scale of what Michael Jackson has been through I think this ranks low on the scale.

I'm not meaning to reduce the importance of this, I hate the fact that these tracks have been included, but I remember the sick feeling in my stomach when Michael was accused of heinous crimes, I remember the tears in my eyes when he made his live TV cast from Neverland, I remember the taste in my mouth when he was arrested and the subsequent turmoil of the trial.

This is bad, but it's nothing to the above.

Also, I think (and I hope) like I have said before, that this is nothing more that a bid to please & in a way is the opposite of the Arviso saga. They tried to destroy & I think Cascios are like the dweeb at school wanting to be associated with the cool kid, but have tried too hard & failed.

I see what you mean. I just wanted to actually demonstrate that it is perfectly possible to involve several people in a money conspiracy against Michael, because many claimed it was improbable. It is not because that too much is at stake that the fraud is impossible. That's exactly what happened with all those who tried to extort money from Michael; they first had to unite their forces (meaning involve several people) then begin hunting.

As far as involving people, uniting forces and going through legal ways to obtain money (the tracks) from Michael, the cases are similar (although different). But eventually the ultimate goal is exactly the same: money ('even sell your soul to the devil for it').

Fyi, Smooth says Monster will be the 3rd single released according to his source at Sony. Let's help they are working to provide more evidence.

Indeed. More scary than the money aspect though I think is the kudos. The wanting to be the person that brought down Michael Jackson. The leaked phone call from Chandler's father that has sinister glee in the voice that basks in the glory of being the one is terrifying beyond belief. "There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever...Michael's career will be over".

It's like some murderers, they want the stature of being known as the mass murderer, of their name to be in lights. Usually because their life up until then has been anonymous & meaningless.

However, this is taking a turn for the less than beautiful now...
