Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I have to make a confession... noooo it's not me singing on the Cascio tracks and no me is not Jason Malachi or any other strange guy profiting from trying to be someone else.

My confession is, I'm a psychologist.

Ok now why am I telling you this.

simply because I learned how to prove what ppl think is not to prove. Theoretical that is always possible... in reality it is often not as research is limited in material and most of all money.

However if you want to prove it's Michael Jackson in these songs... then it's simply not enough to put just a very few voices against the doubt it's him of ppl telling it's him.

No the agreement first has to be, ok how will even the biggest doubter believe what we think is the truth. You find that in the way that you ask them and offer them possibilities.
To make that more clear... one setting could be you get a huge sample of (maybe 500 fans from all over the world, all of them minimum 10 years of fandom each... well that's a huge sample for research ;) )MJJfans let them hear the song and ask them if it's Michael they hear. And you say BEFORE ok if we minimum reach a number (let's say of more than) 75% saying yes it's him then it's proven. Oh and of cuz you'll still have ppl doubting it but the percentage of those will be then less than 10 probably.
However there's no real interest for that here.

Sony and the estate calculated different with or without knowing the Jacksons would attack the album.
But those are businessmen. They are not interested in the fans (btw I also don't think the Jacksons are more interested in fans). They are all interested in money only.
They've numbered their success with a certain number and they'll measure it by reaching it or even not. If the last option will come true maybe one or two will lose their jobs or simply not have a real career anymore but then that's it. But it's also possible they've calculated all this in because it does bring them a lot of plus and not really payed for attention/promotion/money. However... the lack of additional promotion is telling me they didn't go really for a number one album - although worldwide it was on one- ... however I have a feeling they are just satisfied with what they've put in and what they got out... and yep get ready maybe they'll do something like that even again.

The estate and/or Sony simply missed to have some real proof in the background... that would have been really easily done for a company like Sony to just play a number of songs to Michael Jackson fans (long before binging them out or nooo wait it's call LEAKING them lol) they could have presented that result to fans then... however instead they've chosen some ppl not really independent from them, future work for them in mind probably etc.... well that just is not very convincing to ppl who don't believe it's Michael Jackson singing.

So I do understand ppl not believing it's Michael...
even more since there appeared family statements that the kids said they do not hear Michael on there too.

Well honestly I have a hard time recognizing him on there too if I do lol... however my opinion is not the point here.

Ok then we do have ppl believing it's Michael Jackson singing there.
Because it's told it's him by several ppl who worked with Michael and who knew him... they have a point there.

Both sides do have strong points.

But honestly from my own researching and often proving heart... there's no solution to this anymore. There's hardly anyone found anymore who has not made up their mind already. Opinions are often enough the worst enemy of some true research and some real proving results... cuz even me (and I studied only 2 and a half years of statistics) could manipulate every statistic the way I want it to lead to a certain wished result... however someone as educated in statistics would find out about that probably lol. Anyways back to the point... even a court couldn't find more proof in this... there's no proof beyond reasonable doubt possible anymore since Michael is not here anymore and every other person who might sung there or even not like Jason Malachi for example could always stay silent as even a court couldn't pressure him to confess fraud... plus he'd lose probably all support from the ppl supporting him now business wise... so please, ask yourself if you should really wait for that... if that is a real possibility.

My mind tells me there will never be anyone proving anything in this as ppl are profiting the way it is now the most... just not we the fans.
For anyone who says they are working for keeping Michaels legacy that's ashame if they really know the connection Michael always had to us.
Let's just hope they will learn from this... and they are not non carring only greedy assholes.

However we the fans will not find only one valid answer to if it's Michael singing or not... that's as sad as stupid reality for now.

But thanks God we had a good example in Michael about tolerance. If you want the freedom of having an opinion you can have it only if you give that very same freedom to other ppl and let them have a different opinion at times... you can still live with them, you can still love them... it's just a different opinion. Do what your heart is telling you and let others follow a different path at times... it's no drama... it's just wonderful colorful life! lol

sorry for the long post lol couldn't keep inside what some responses made me think.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

But the problem is that now we've gone completely off-topic. The conversation doesn't match the thread title.

Despite being extremly off-topic, the discussion we had in the last few days are some of the most exciting we've ever had in a long time.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Nice post Mechi. The issue is that none of the Cascio songs bear any resemblance to any other Michael Jackson songs. None that anyone can actually refer to, at any rate. It's a mess. And I hope it gets sorted.

And I feel in your heart you're as much feeling it will even not get sorted, or do you really believe that?

No. I believe it will be sorted out. The truth ALWAYS comes out.

Bless you!!! :agree:

Hmmmm so who killed JFK? oh no forgive me... that's completely off topic... lol

no honestly... I don't think the truth does always come out when we want it but yes it surely can often be found for example subjectively in ones heart... so I'd tell EVERYBODY IN THIS sincerely for now just follow your heart... if THE truth will come out one day it will be seen! ;)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

The mafia.

The 'truth' doesn't have to be 'official'. The 'official' truth is very rarely the 'truth'. If you believe it is then you believe that George W Bush was the best man for the job! :) And you believe that Michael Jackson sounded like Jason Malachi in 2007.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

@samhabib, I agree that the truth is rarely the official one, but in the case of the Cascio tracks, I'm judging it solely on what I hear, as opposed to what has been said or videos made etc.

Going back on-topic (i.e. the last 30 pages or so) I've forgotten what a great performance the HIStory Tour was. I'm watching the Munich show right now!

I really hope this is resolved one way or the other. Perhaps, Teddy may be of help here? He seems to be very troubled and disgruntled lately based on his more recent tweets. I also get the feeling that he's holding something back. Time will tell...

Exactly. Anyone with a conscience will spill the beans, sooner or later. The Estate's activities are very suspicious. I have absolutely no faith in John Branca and Howard Weitzman and applauded Howard Mann's take on the Estate - "fraudulently obtained dictatorship," guarding "a collusive and corrupt status quo."

Everyone knows that Michael Jackson sacked John Branca AFTER that will that is being adhered to was created - which is still under debate.

After that 'will' Michael wrote these words to John Branca:

"You are commanded to immediately cease expending any effort of any kind on my behalf."

So on what basis is he operating, now, on Michael's behalf??? It all puts the lines 'the plot thickens to destroy Michael Jackson' into further perspective...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

@samhabib, but didn't Michael hire John Branca again during June of 2009? That's what I read at least.

I have my reservations about Branca, if only because I don't know that much about him or McClain.

What, days before Michael died and he took control of Michael's estate? Man... that's good timing, right?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I'll agree that it is suspicious timing, and that will seems a bit fishy. MJ always planned ahead, surely in 2009 or even 2007-08 he would've added to his will if only to suit current situations.

Can you tell me anything about John McClain?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Sam, do you have a link on what Howard Mann said?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Howard Mann is Katherine's business partner, right? Isn't he also the one that released "Opus None" and is basically making money off of MJ's image?

Yeah, I would love to know the full story behind that. However bad it was, it at least had Michael Jackson's voice on it!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yeah, I wanna know what was behind that, as well. Surely they (The Jacksons) didn't consider releasing that during "Destiny" on a single or something, right!?

I would be more trusting of Mann's words if it weren't for the fact that TMZ reported it.

Sam, could you tell me what you know about John McClain, please?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Jermaine Jackson recently talked to France-Soir regarding "Michael".

[My translation]

FRANCE-SOIR. The posthumous release from your brother Michael wasn't as big a success as was expected. Are you surprised?
JERMAINE JACKSON. No I'm not! Because this album isn't his music. I know it's not entirely his music... and you can't fool the people.

F.-S. Then why did you authorize its release?
J. J. My family didn't have a say. It's Sony's project. And it's just for money.

How dare you quote Jermaine Jackson? He's a loser from the jealous and greedy Jackson family... :cheeky:

Thanks for this. Interesting to see that even Jermaine of all people says the project was just for money. This entire situation has been one complete mess from start to finish!
