I think they would have pursued action against the Cascio's and Jason if they had been deceived.

I don't understand how this was supposed to work in the long run anyway, especially as more and more people start doubting.

Were Michael Jackson fans supposed to listen to these songs against other Michael Jackson songs and just think it's normal forever? They were never going to realize they were duped? This is a completely stupid move on their part.

They just expected to put them on there and nobody notice. That was their genuine plan and it's just pure stupidity. Everytime I've seen the album in a store, I feel sick because I know the fans have been duped and tricked.

Just so sad they thought they could do it.

If the vocals are not Michael's vocals, it has to be the Cascios faking it because why would Sony not hire Malachi for other songs and not just Cascios?

It could be that SONY hired an impersonator once they realized that they paid $5 million for incredibly bad vocals, and when asked by Eddie, they could blame it on the processing.

Also, say they came clean about the whole situation and rereleased "Michael" with different songs, say "Slave To the Rhythm", "Men in Black" and "Can't Get Your Weight Off Me". Would you buy that version of the album.

^ With the songs recorded supposedly after 2007? Good question - to try and say he sounded consistent?

Think of Hold My Hand (2008) and Best Of Joy (2009). He sounds much different there - well, effectively he has to given these three Cascio tracks aren't him.

Its rather insulting for them to put BN on the website that morning and think all fans would believe it was Michael singing. It was horrifying that moment. I just remember thinking, this is must be a joke or a PR stunt, surely they can't think this is Michael. How wrong was I.

^^I agree....I don't think Sony were behind this in the first place...But now, silence is golden...

That's what's happening here....That's why we've been getting the most vague of answers, if answers at all....It's all so obvious...They're just sweeping it under the rug...

The question is, what can we do about this? I feel like screaming and no one is hearing us...

Couldn't resist the obscure computer game reference! :D And, while I did say that I would take a break on here, I have basically no legit way to prepare for my show due to the 4-day weekend :( And also, I think we all know the answer to this now...

Thanks for making that... I'm having a hard time hearing the similarity now :(.

Is there any chance you could make a comparison of other songs on Michael (BOJ, HT, BTM) with old Michael songs with the exact note like you have done with the Cascio tracks please?

We may have come across as harsh at times, but I think it was just SO frustrating for us when people weren't hearing what we were hearing...I know that everyone hears different things, but in this case, it was really hard to understand how people weren't hearing it was the exact same voice....I felt alone a lot....Trying to fight for Michael and it seemed we couldn't get through to anyone.....
It's nice to see us getting along a little more now, though :D We can build a stronger voice now...

I'm not arguing my view on these songs anymore, I'm here with an open mind trying to find the truth.

If I can see other songs on Michael (not Cascio) compared with Michael's old songs it would be really helpful. To see if they have the exact same note hit like in the Cascio/Jason comparisons.

Sorry, King. It's not going to help. I know this sounbds bizarre, but you just can't escape the reality.

If you really want to hear a comparison like that, I suggest just clicking through songs, play them etc. I won't make it.

This will help me believe the vocals are fake, if Michael songs (not Cascio) have identicle notes with his old songs and the Cascio ones don't. The Cascio songs have identicle notes with Malachi songs. It's interesting to compare.

I need to know if songs we acccept as Michael songs (Best Of Joy, Hollywood Tonight, Behind The Mask) have identicle notes with his older work or is it just the Cascio songs that do not because they are fake?

The thing is, KingMikeJ, look at that BOJ comparison Pentum quickly made up in a few minutes. IF there were parts of Michael's songs that were that similar to parts of the Cascio songs they would have been compared and made into a video by now. Really, I don't think there are any.

Yet you basically have moments that are identical in the Cascio and Jason Malachi tracks.

This is a nightmare... I wish the Men in Black can erase our memories of this entire mess... And give us the song "Men in Black" while they're at it.

You know the problem is that the album got accepted by the majority of the fanbase. We should have been a unity from the beginning showing them that we by no means would accept that they insult the legacy of the King. But instead the two camps starting fighting one another...and in many forums people who called the Cascio tracks fakes were banned or treated like second class fans who want to harm the sales only because of their hate toward Sony... :smilerolleyes:
And now the damage is done. I feel so bad. We should have been Michael's voice but we failed. It hurts. :(
