Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Guys, I think I may take a little break from this place. Y'know, collect my thoughts about this whole thing and ask myself what I really think, along with working on my tribute show. Thank you all for your wonderful friendship, and I'll be back once I have a definitive opinion...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Ok so far I have:

KYHU: I can't even breath, I can't even sleep
Hollywood Tonight: (She was taught that) that's not clean

KYHU: Keep your head up don't give up today
Butterflies: I caress (you, let you taste us, just so blissful listen)

HT is 100% MJ, never ever doubted that one.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I know, I'm comparing the cascio vocals to other MJ songs like how some people have compared cascio vocals to malachi.

Well, unfortunately not single MJ track ressembles as much as JM's.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

If I had the time, skills and patience I would make an audio comparison but for now I will just have to tell you what vocals to compare.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^^ You can get them from Max Jax

I'm IP banned from there lol. Anyway grabbed them, will have a listen now.

Edit : The similarities are striking. I am kinda speechless lol.

But why would Jason Malachi sing in the exact same tone and voice when he knew, and Sony knew that he would instantly be found out? It doesn't make sense, too much to comprehend lol.

If we got evidence and people admitted it was an impersonator, I'd probably cry. I would question how big of a fan I am if I can't even tell Michael's voice from an impersonator and I've been listening to "Michael" for half a year. I'd be embarrassed, humiliated, angry, upset, annoyed, sad.

Am I subconsciously accepting these songs as Michael's due to fear?

At one point I trusted the Cascio's, I figured "they've known Michael forever they wouldn't do this, no it's not possible". To the point where I defended them and their actions regarding this album in this very thread on numerous occasion. I'm quite ashamed in myself to be honest.

See don't think like this. One mistake that we as fans did was to see each other as different sides and even as enemies.

If it turns out that there's a fraud here, we'll all be victims of that crime. We'll all be taken advantage of. If we couldn't realize the crime then we would be even more so a victim. There's no sense in blaming yourself for someone else's doing.

Similarly if the legitimacy of the songs are proven, there's no shame there as well. Simply because we were put in a position of questionable vocals and were forced into forming an opinion about the vocals being Michael's or not. In the end regardless of our opinions turning out to be right or wrong, it's not our fault as we didn't create the controversy. If we weren't given questionable vocals we wouldn't be in this position.

In short shame on anyone (whomever they might be) that fooled us (however that might be).

I think everyone here would agree that this controversy was definitely not needed and could have been avoided.

Well, they've managed to fool a lot of people, obviously...

I've said it before...people were fooled before in '07 when those JM songs were mistaken for Michael's....What's the difference now? A fancy letter from the Estate and the fact that they've been released on an official album...?

And see now we're comparing those exact songs with the Cascio tracks! 4 years later!

Michael's not here to confirm anything....so very convenient for them...

It's just hard for me to accept it, If it was me purposely impersonating the king, I would make sure I got every single thing right before even claiming these are MJ songs.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

1) they're lazy
2) they're stupid
3) they don't care about the fans
4) it's all about money
5) for some inexplicable reason, many people think it sounds like michael anyway

take your pick.

edit: i'm referring to whoever is perpetrating this fraud on US, i am not calling any fans lazy/stupid, just wanted to clarify

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Those examples by TPIMaster are great. I think we should spread those everywhere we can. Don't give Sony or anyone else a chance to get rid of them.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

geeez....I'm listening to the comparisons now....Just wow...The voice is absolutely identical in every single way...How disgusting is this?

TPIMaster, you're amazing! Fucking incredible work!

P.S. I'm listening to 'Money' right now...how appropriate...

'I'll never betray or deceive you my friend but...
If you show me the cash
Then I will take it
If you tell me to cry
Then I will fake it
If you give me a hand
Then I will shake it
You'll do anything for money..."

I think it was brave of the members who said they had changed their minds or begun to doubt.:clapping: Please don't feel bad. I was the same as Arklove; at first I didn't want to say that I didn't believe Michael sang on the songs, you know just in case. I didn't want to be caught out as being wrong if they did turn out to be real. Silly ego  Anyway, kudos to you ;)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^^ that's exactly it....I heard the songs and I was like...:wtf: :puke: ....I seriously thought it had to be a PR stunt and we'd miraculously hear Michael on the album....I almost got sick once again when I realized that wasn't the case...I didn't want to believe that fraud was indeed happening, but I'm 100% sure that is the case. ....No matter everything we've heard as far as reasons/excuses as to why he sounds so different, I could never, ever shake the feeling I had, and what I was hearing (and who I WASN'T hearing) ....No matter what, I couldn't ignore my initial instincts....

And, please, to those who now believe the same, don't feel bad...We're the victims here....We all need to stay united now....The best thing to do is spread these comparisons far and wide....

Exactly. None of us here should blame ourselves. We are all victims here. We are not the one who created such controversy.

And, none of us should allow anyone to question our love for Michael. I know I love Michael. I know you love Michael. That's why we tiredlessly post here. At the end of the day, despite our different opinions, we all share one common love. We are all friends. We are here for Michael too.

@ KingMikeJ, you may have subconsciously accepted the songs because of your love for Michael too. You want anything that bears his name to be a success. You don't want something this shaddy to be assoicated with the album.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yea, Blackberry's internet service is usually hit or miss.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Hey Pentum, I'm about to go check out those TPIMaster comparisons, but I wanted to say thanks for posting that Best Of Joy comparison. That was really cool. :D

Edit: I'm pretty convinced that these tracks are fake. I am in agreement with the statement made above me.

Wow great work, TPIMaster! Thank you so much.
We need to spread the comparisons around. It's really beyond me how some people can still defend the Cascio tracks. And in doing this, they even go so far and minimize Michael's talent.
I'm so f*cking mad about all this...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Thanks to TPI Master for taking the time and for having the dedication to put this amazing comparison together. Although no longer posting I have been reading the forum and am happy that the thread seems to have been reignited. It looked like it had died a death there for a while especially when Pentum and Kapital were banned. It seems that the game might be up soon enough. To those that have changed their minds fair dues to you for owning it. It's not easy i imagine having defended the tracks for so long to suddenly realise you were mistaken. Hoping to see this nightmare resolved soon for once and for all.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I need to see who's left...
Who here believes these songs feature Michael singing?

The list so far: KingMikeJ, Ivy

We're running out of believers, and even I'm having more doubts as time goes on.

S'ok, most of us were in that position at some point. It began with simple doubts for me, after that I completely accepted that it is NOT Michael Jackson singing on those songs. I was a believer, I'm not gonna lie about it, I used to be ignorant and ignore all 'evidance' that showed the obvious. I just didn't want to accept the fact that MJ's legacy is indeed being destroyed with those songs. I am a bit dissapointed of myself for doing that even though deep down inside I never really 'felt' Michael Jackson in those songs (except for the pasted ad-libs, that is) and thrust me I've tried, I've really tried. I've actually forced myself to think it's MJ on those songs. I just didn't see a reason why it shouldn't be him. I mean, they had (and still have) a shit load of songs, some even 100% finished BY MICHAEL HIMSELF. Songs like that that were left out in favor of some fake ones? That didn't make much sense to me back then. But it became so obvious as to why they would do that: money! ...of course.

I saw a couple of great posts regarding how you should deal with what you curently feel right now KingMikeJ and how you should deal with this whole situation regarding the Cascios in general, great posts by great people nontheless. But in the end, it's up to you to decide what you believe and what you don't. Don't believe/disbelieve something just because a lot of people you know are and you somehow feel like an outsider if you don't 'join their group'. Just take a few hours/days/weeks and clear up your mind and let your heart decide what you'll believe/disbelieve. (Do that with an open mind though and take into consideration both sides of the story). Good luck!

EDIT: WOW, did I just type that? That was pretty deep for a person like me. :p

Anyway, I hope you got what I was trying to say.

And a big shout out to the original believers, who from day one of the BN premier, knew it wasn't Michael and kept the faith and BELIEVED! You know who u all are :flowers:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I think I was not only afraid to believe something this shady would be associated with MJ, but also that Eddie would betray Michael and that Jason would betray Michael.

For the longest time it was mostly just the logic of it that wasn't sitting well with me.

I still can't figure out really how this all took place, all I know is it's highly highly highly obvious to me that the voice is not Michael's and likely Jason Malachi.

It seems likely to me that Sony could have requested Jason's top secret help on this album to come do some vocal parts and stuff and he said, "Oh great! Yes I'd love to be a part of it for Michael." But then Sony ended up saying it was all MJ for better sales pitch and told Malachi to keep his mouth shut if he knows what's good for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony even made threats at the Jackson family!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I have a had time believing that Sony is behind all this, they wouldn't knowingly risk everything, especially when they have so many other songs they can use.... myself like others have started doubting these songs more lately, and I think the only reasonable way for these songs to end up on the album is Sony/whoever else was involved getting tricked by these fake songs created by the Cascios and Malachi.
